Sidewinder deactivated the automatic security systems with no problem. The alarms were off but the room was on fire in the various areas where Onix's assault had hit.
Onix's scrapmaker laid most of the officers in the room to waste. Only one remained alive but badly injuried.
Then knocking on the door was heard from behind Onix. "Open up in there! Open up in there!"

Onix glanced over at the door.
"Are there any automated turrets or anything on the other side of those doors? Surely they have lock down countermeasures. Check it out and see if you can turn them against them. I'm going to make their day a little worse."
Onix pulled out the detonator to the charges planted on their ship they flew in on. He flipped open the safety cover, primed the charges and hit the switch then sat the detonator down on a table and walked over to the one remaining officer.
"The annoying little one that brought us in never got around to showing us where Spanner likes to hang out. See, me and my friend here have come to seek his assistance in a little project. I'm only going to ask nicely once, how do we find Spanner?"

On the Striker, the rest of the Decepticon recieved a signal that the other ship had exploded inside the asteroid. They now had a potential way in.
*********
"What? I don't know where Spanner is?" Said the scared robot as it stared at the business end of Onix's scrapmaker.
Sidewinder did in fact find automatic defensives and had the power to turn them on the station dwellers. But also, she noticed that the asteroid's anti-aircraft guns weren't completely offline. Instead of allowing the computer to automate them, they were still able to be used by anyone who sat in the massive canons.

Sidewinder set the automated defence systems online and listened for a moment to the corridor outside for the results. "They're going to get a kick out of this!" He sniggered.
He looked back at the console and frowned a little. He then started looking around the system to see if he could lock down access to those areas and activate any automated weapons there also.

The protests to have the door open soon turned into screams of horror as the automatic defensives turned on their own. It was then quiet.
Sidewinder's actions were so far a success however they're was no way to stop the anti-aircraft guns. The computer terminal indicated that they were being powered up and occupied by users.

On board the Striker, Powersurge ordered the ship to move towards the asteroid.

Onix looked over to Sidewinder then back at the hostage
"Sidewinder, radio the Striker and let them know what they are flying into"
Onix transformed away his scrapmaker and transformed out his axe. He put his foot down on the bots chest, and carefully worked the blade of the axe under a piece of armor, then then pressed trough, cutting the chunk of armor away.
"Now, tell me what I want to know, or I keep carving you up piece by piece."

Onix's sp to be victim pleaded for mercy. "Please! I don't know! He could be any where! Don't kill me!"

Onix stuck the blade under another plate of armor and removed it with a quick slice
"Is that so? Well then, tell me where he might be and we will start from there."
Onix looked back to Sidewinder
"Turn on all Automated defenses in the station with the new target parameters if you can. Make sure our team's and Spanner's IR signatures are the only ones that won't be targeted. Spanner's signature should be stored in the station's databanks already. And start trying to find Spanner through other means!"

Sidewinder had sighed in pleasure at the screams outside.
Times like these make me wonder why I never tried getting myself an extra pair of arms, Sidewinder thought fantasizing. He then frowned, oh yeah, too heavy, no flying. That'd suck.
Sidewinder activated a comm link to the Striker and in a cheery voice said. +++COMM_STRIKER+++
Sidewinder to Striker. Just to let you know their defense systems are active, couldn't get the stinking neutrals to stay away from them, so hope you have fun up there!
+++COMM_STRIKER+++
Sidewinder moved onto activating the rest of the defences and their appropriate targets.
Then moved onto the surveillance systems to find out where Spanner was. "Here Spanner Spanner Spanner." Sidewinder muttered.

As Sidewinder went through the survailance systems to find Spanner, the pair of Decepticon could more gun fire as the automatic defence systems kicked in from behind the main doors.
A he kept looking, Sidewinder noticed that the Striker was being fired on in another video screen.
Then Spanner appeared, he and some of other robots were inside a lab. It looked as if they were destroying all the equipment and computers inside of it.
Then from behind the main doors, two large explosions were heard. Then the doors began to move apart slowly. On the other side a group was slowly moving them to open up.

Sidewinder tutted at the Striker on the screen then moved his attention to Spanners screen.
He felt a pang of sadness and respect, almost shedding a tear, as he saw Spanner and his colleagues destroy their own work. Ah. So refreshing to see ones so dedicated to their work He looked up and called after Onix. "Hey Onix I found Spanner! He's in the labs destroying equipment. Should take him a while to do it thoroughly so we can still catch him."
He jumped as the explosion went off. "Oh looks like we have company!" he said cheerily as he got out his rifle.

Onix stood and looked down at the bot he was torturing, he just shook his head
"Should have been more helpful"
Onix brought the axe down into the bots head, then turned his attention to the door
"Any idea how many are on the other side? Toss down your thermo mines, I'll drop my rocket drone, and be ready to fight"
Onix deployed his rocket drone and transformed out his scrappmaker ready for the fight on the other side of the door.

As the doors began to open, bullets began to fly through. Onix's rocket drone fired it's first shot, causing a flash they made the entire room white. Then as the firing from the other side if the doors continued to pour through, a flak grenade was tossed in and rolled towards Onix.

On board the Striker, Sunreaper was in the pilot seat, guiding the Striker in. "What did Sidewinder say I didn't copy that last part."
As if to explain the answer another way, the Striker shook violently as ant--aircraft fire rocked it's hull. "Never mind, I got the message. Hang on!"
Sunreaper began to maneuverer the ship in a zig zag formation as he approached the asteroid.

"That idot Onix!", surged Torquemada as all hell fire was let loose on the Striker from the bases defenses, "TRY and get us down in one piece Sunreaper! Or this is going to be a very short mission! I say - if he's gone and shot Spanner then we beat his sorry skid-plate and deliver him as scrap to Megatron!"
As the Striker dodged and weaved from the incoming fire from the station, Torquemada was kept staggering back and forth and from side to side. "Doesn't this thing have anti-grav plating?!"
