Wow, never heard of it. I checked it out and it looks pretty cool. Probably won't join as I like to keep my forum memberships limited. But it is a cool place to swing by and check out every now and again. If I had known about it a while ago I probably would have signed up LOL. I used to sign up for any and every forum/site that was about something I was interested in then I burnt myself out trying to post on them all. I literally had about thirty or more user accounts/memberships at one time a few years back. now I limit myself to about ten forums and that is it. Enough to cover my fixation with Transformers, He-Man, ThunderCats, The Eighties, Comics, Cartoons and other Toys Lines. Shame on you Jazz I am really tempted to join that place, but I won't. LOL!

I mainly check it out to confirm news or dispel a rumour. The threads are so long you can get lost in them so I don't post there. But its good for info and to see what the opinions are on certain aspects of James Bond. Like apparently a lot of fans like Lazenby's only Bond film and hold it high regard. Not too many are keen on the Moore years but respect the actor. Most of them don't care for PB and many of them like TD and DC a lot.

You know I have mentioned before that Daniel Craig was my least favorite Bond, however my opinion of him has changed. After watching his portrayal of Bond again in my spare time (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall) I realized he was pretty good. I guess when I watched them the first time around I was so stuck on disliking him that I didn't really bother to try and enjoy the movies as a 007 fan but instead as a Craig hater. Anyway when I think back on all of the James Bond novels I have read (and that is a lot) I have come to realize that Craig actually does a fascinating job of bringing the Bond character to life in a way that has not been done before and is actually more accurate than in the early movies. Needless to say I look forward to seeing SPECTRE.

Yeah, Spectre looks good. But I sort of wonder if it might not work. Because they have really attach DC's Bond to what's going on personally. And you don't see that too many times with the exception of OHMSS and LTK. I mean sure JB will get revenge for those killed by the villain, but it's more for ppl he just met in the movie. Its hardly personal for him. CR, QOS and Spectre are definitely personal for JB, and I guess SF too with his past being brought up.

So who had the best intro when introduced as James Bond?
Like Daniel Craig starts off as Bond by getting his first two kills. One where he beats up one guy and then coldly shoots another.
From what I remember, Roger Moore was simply shown getting out of bed with a women beside him and then meeting with M and Money Penny.

Oh yes one of my favorite films, "Live and Let Die". I love this movie, sure there is plenty of Blacksploitation but the movie is awesome. With Moore being my favorite Bond, I would have liked to say his was the best, but it isn't so. To me Sean Connery's first intro/scene as Bond is the best in "Dr. No". It is all perfect, no killing or sex is involved, it is at a card table with several unremarkable people and one stunningly lovely lady in a red dress, and she is losing. We don't know right away the guy she is losing to is Bond (well we do but we aren't supposed to). Anyway she gives her name "Sylvia Trench" then here it comes, Connery says Bond's most famous of famous lines as he lights a cigarette.... "Bond, James Bond." PRICLESS I TELL YOU, PRICELESS!

Lot of negativity regarding Daniel Craig recently, any thoughts on the new Bond theme? I think I'll have to see the film before I can judge it.

I think Craig did put his foot in his mouth a bit, but I believe he was just releasing some stress. And as far as I'm concern he can say as he pleases since he took so much flack when he signed on as Bond.
As for the new theme, I don't really like it at all.

I hope he was just having a bad day, to hear "I'd just be doing it [Another film] for the money" was a little disheartening, let alone the lit my wrists comment.

I saw it!!
Its awesome! I don't care what the critics say, Spectre is a sexy movie.
While it may not be my fav Bond film, and while there may have been moments I could have done without, I still liked this film.
Ok, who else has seen it? We need to discuss!!

Just seen it, it's not that I didn't like it but it really dragged for me. I gave up 3/4 of the way through.

Actually I take this back. After I saw the film I lost all love for it as I began to rethink about what happened in it. It really undid everything Casino Royale set up. Personally I want to see JB die in the next film. Not that I hate JB now, I just think it'll be cool to see actually happen. He did technically die in the books....
