Casino Royale - 2006. Quantum of Solace - 2008. Skyfall - 2012 Spectra - 2015 Bond 25 - 2020!
Craig will be Bond longer then Sir Roger Moore!! He signed on for 5 movies and if they had done one movie every 2 years like most Bond films, Craig would of been done in 2014 or so. He's 50 now, that might have been the better way to go.
So who do yo think would make a good Bond after Daniel Craig?

I would be happy to see a new bond, I was never really happy with the gritty direction taken with Casino Royale and have only seen Skyfall since. I preferred the early Brosnan films, Goldeneye is peak bond to me.
I'm not sure who though?

I think Golden Eye is a great Bond film in terms of what we have come to expect from Bond films. It's actually close to being perfect in terms of action. Of course Bond isn't as much as jerk towards women in GE as Connery was in his films. Plus all the villains were all awesome. And the introduction of the new M! Man I should watch it again.
Ok, my thoughts on the next actor to play James Bond. Picking from some of the online speculation...
Tom Hardy. I don't think he has the right look. Acting talent yes, but he doesn't have the intensity of Craig, Dalton or Connery.
Tom Hiddleston. Acting talent yes. But he's too handsome, kinda wimpy looking. Bond isn't a nice guy. And don't say Moore was, he wasn't a good Bond, IMO.
Idris Elba. He'd be great. I could see him doing it but he's too old now.
Henry Cavill. I think he could. He lacks the intensity but I think he could do it. He's very young so he could give a few years to the project. But has his other spy films ruined it for him?
Damian Lewis. I want to say yer but I think he lacks something. Too friendly looking to be honest.
Michael Fassbender. I want to say yes again but he lacks something aswell! Maybe he's too logical a choice so it wouldn't bring anything exciting to the role.
Cillian Murphy. Nah, too weird looking....
Luke Evans. Can't take him seriously as Bond.
Jamie Bell. Hahahha! Next!
Gillian Anderson. Jane Bond? I can't see her fighting. Yes I know it's just a movie but Bond is suppose to have incredible endurance and take a lot of punishment. I can think of other female actors that fit that role but not her but she has the acting chops, no doubt.
Orlando Bloom. Isn't threatening too me. I don't think he could add anything to the role.
Aidan Turner. This is who I think would be a good choice. He looks intense, he's a good looking dude, he's young and while not huge he can properly beef up.

I've been thinking about this for the last couple of days. James Bond is just one of those characters where I can never think of anyone I'd like to see in the role. Aside from Idris Elba, absolutely none of those names sprung to mind as the next Bond. Even now, I can't think of anyone I'd like to see.

I see they've been eyeing up Rob Stark from Game of Thrones as a potential...

It wouldn't be Bank Holiday Monday without watching a bit of Bond, starting at the very beginning with Dr. No.

I see they've been eyeing up Rob Stark from Game of Thrones as a potential... How did I miss this? He was great in Bodyguard. Very intense. Part of me wants to see him as Bond but I think he's too young looking. Sort of too friendly in the face. Craig, Connery and Dalton had that brooding, serious man look about them. Richard Madden can do it but as soon as he smiles he's he turns into a pretty boy.

Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill? The bets are still on! Bookies favour cavill now.
By the way I finally saw No Time To Die the other month, forgot to say. What did we think because I was again a little underwhelmed, despite the ending.

I did like NTTD, there some parts I thought were corny though. But all in all a good film and a shocker of an ending.
I love Hardy but I can't see him as Bond. Far too short. I know that's a weird and maybe stupid thing to say but sometimes he looks short but stocky in films. And too famous now. Cavill, sure. But he's sort of too handsome and youngish looking. Again very famous and he's pretty much Superman and the Witcher now.

My worry about Cavill is that he's a bit too buffed up due to Superman and especially the witcher. I mean, I know you have to be fit for the role, be he's huge in what little I've seen (Clips) of witcher. Good age, look and fairly decent actor though.

Thing is any muscle gained can be loss and he can slim down. He still has some years I would think before they start making Bond films again so he has time to get ready.

Watched NTTD again.
Whilst my overall opinion hasn't changed much, I did enjoy it a little more. I think for me it was very much a "Servicable" entry, much like Quantumn Of Solcace. I just wish it'd gone out more cheerfully than melancholy. I did love Ana de Armas as Paloma, could of done with more of her!, and Lashana Lynch was also good as Nomi. Unfortunatley, Safin just felt a little two dimensional and didn't really give the film any oomph as a bad guy.
