O.o WHY DOES THAT EXIST? DX Word on the street is that Season 8 will start in August 2014 and will have twelve eps. I think we can all be thankful for that Seriously, the half-season format has been the bane of the series. If I'm honest, it seems like it's probably only survived this long to prolong Smith's run :/

Um, very, very, very, very, VERY important Doctor Who news! Steven Moffat has released this little short: Night Of The DoctorTitle was trending on twitter, I was curious as to why. Now I feel even more robbed that we never ever got a McGann series!

Cracking! Love Paul McGann, it was good to see him back, and to finally see how it ended for him. The last second kind of annoyed me though XD

Very true though! You like? I like. And I see where Paul McGann could have taken his Doctor, though his Doctor seemed a little unpolished, but of course it would seem that way being he hasn't been the Doctor for how many years? Now if they actually convinced Christopher Eccleston just to make a small cameo at the end of the 50th anniversary episode....

I'm quite excited about this! I love Mark Gaitiss, it'll be interesting to see him do something more biographical

Ha! Who! I saw it, I... I need time to think. All of the individual components were brilliant, I just... I need to think about the ending. Good night XD

I enjoyed it and liked it although the pacing was a little off and all the Zygon stuff just came across as filler fluff. I didn't like that woman as Elizabeth I, but Tennant and Smith were great as usual and had chemistry, good to see "Rose" or rather "The moment" there and Venessa Redgrave was good. Liked all the doctors being featured via holograms at the council and had a small gasp with a fleeting flash of Capaldi However: SPOILER Had a huge major gasp when I heard Tom Baker's voice! As soon as I heard it, even before seeing it my jaw hit the ground! I did kinda hear that he has let it slip before hand unfortunately, (Bad Tom!), but then you never know if he was telling the truth or helping keep a lie anyway so I still had a jaw drop moment when I heard, then saw him. I was literally saying at the TV (When Hurt started to regenerate) - Don't cut, don't cut! Just in-case Eccleston did put in an appearance. Overall it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible and I still enjoyed it thoroughly.
