Hmm, lots to think over for that question. I liked the last David Tennant special. Donna's Grandfather was a great character, and it was sad at the end when he regenerated because I really think the "I don't want to go" was very genuine.
I watched a behind the scene episode for DW and they discussed that scene a few times on how to do it. So yeah, it was very well done and felt real.
I loved Wilfred!! Great character. As well as appearing in the first non-canon Dr Who film Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (Starring Peter Cushing), he was in various UK kids tv when I was growing up.
Speaking of Donna, I did think her exit/memory wipe was extremely sad, I'm not sure which is sadder that or Rose's first exit. (We'll just pretend Rose's second doctor and the meta-crisis doctor never happened. Still can't forgive RTD for that.)
So I was watching this Doctor Who clip on YouTube and in the videos recommended to the right was this parody. Now it's done by kids with a girl as the 10th doctor, but I was expecting it to be really corny and amateurish but it was far from it! It was actually very well done and quite polished!
You've got to watch this if you've got several minutes!:
I liked it. The Missy persona of The Master is growing on me. The revelation that The Doctor is the whole reason behind Davros being so evil was pretty cool. I liked how there were a few of the older Daleks on Skaaro as well as the modern ones. But why aren't there any of the Progenitor Daleks anymore? Also, what are the chances that Missy used her Vortex Manipulator just before getting shot?
I did like that the Doctor is back on Skaro, also as you said he pretty much made Davros the way he did because of what he did. I've no doubt they were both teleported, but given all the talk since last season about whether Clara was staying or not who knows if we could have a shock death? I don't think we will though.
I love Missy but I'm heavily biased as she'll always be Sue Green to me from Channel 4's comedy: Green Wing. SO I've always liked her.
