[glow=blue,2,000]Ok, he's some more reasons rather then, 'they suck', as to why it was a excellent show compaired to the G1 show...
The leaders. Primal came off as a young and believe leader. You could tell he was stressed and under tons of pressure dealing with all these different personality rather then old Optimus being awww inspiring since he was so great. You know Optimus was going to save the day while with Primal it could have gone either way. Plus Primal could fly!
Megatron. Total elevation! A real cool bad guy and a voice that was just as good as the G1 one, And he had a famous quote, that, "Yesss" was great. Pure evilness and he wasn't a gun. He had a true alternate form of destruction.
The characters. They consentrated on a hand full of them instead of a ton of them who try tried to squeeze in here or there. I love my G1 autobots, but not everyone was protrayed properly or with enough screen time. In BW, you really get the feel of the characters they use.
The introduction of sparks and further explainations of TF. Very important as there was never any hard facts before and too many unanswered questions.
Mistakes. Not as many as the G1 show. Especaily in the stories like in G1 how the constructicons have 3 origins. Things were far better organized and began to expand. I think BW has less mistakes then the comics.
Humor. Far funnier.
Celebs. Well this could be a tough one. I love Scatman and Latta and all, but BW has Furmon, Not to gas the man up, but he's done alot of good work for TF and tried to bring it all together and mkae sence of a mistake ridden series. And once you meet Scott McNiel, you'll want to watch BW.
And the Transmetal Megatron toy is far better then the G1 Megatron toy.[/glow]

Beast wars sucked so bad they had to invole Starscream in an episode to broaden the fan base maybe pull in some g1'ers to the show by stirring up a can of worms. Then to top it off they get the arch and blow Primes head off! WTF!! Cmon BW

I ain't been modding due to my exams, but now its time to MOD some a$$!
Beast Wars was brillaint and in many ways superior to G1.
All its characters you knew and had defining asepcts and weren't merely Transformers with a name and a line every other episode. In Beast Wars you got to know the characters and as such got to fidn your favoruties, and were more sad when they died. (Eg Dinobot!) The Season One story lines were a little repetitive but the idea of the Aliens was great, and Season 2 and 3 was even better connecting G1 and BW. The fact unlike every other series, that simply neglected the other universes, Beast Wars went out and connected them and gave a greater look into the TF universe meant the whole experience was much more enjoyable and less tedious, with history being rewritten. Its only downfall is the fact it was followed by Beast Machines.

Plus they actually got damaged in the show, not walking around five minutes later, unlike G1 actions had consequences.

The Beast Wars story line was more developed than the Transformers one. The characters showed more emotion. Also, the animators did amazing! ;D

True words, slightly let down by your name though. I still prefer the Beast Warriors to G1.

Beast Wars was the first turning point in the hirstory of TFs...took them in whole new direcitons.
I think BM had more than its share of flaws and letdowns, but overall it was a good show. More than any other series, the entire thing was driven by one central plot that developed as the show went on. I'm not happy with the characters' personality changes, but when you think about it most of them make sense. Not to mention, they produced some pretty sweet Vehicon figures.
