The Vehicons were cool and the plot was a good idea, but completely made BW unnecessary, as throughout BW they had been stopping Megs taking over Cybertron and when they win he manages it anyway. I still don't see why they had to go and wreck Rattrap though, can't see the logic behind that!

That was a sad thing. He just lost all his wit and humor. You can understand Cheetor becoming disillusioned and bitter, and Optimus becoming worn and stressed, but Rattrap never made sense to me either.

I mean Blackarrachnia made sense also, just gone Maximal and good and then she looses all her reason to do so. Silverbolt kind of made sense, being a Vehicon can make you loose some of your heroic attitude, but Optimus did become a really lesser leader. And even if he was stressed he lost his real fighting skill which made him a leader!

Like how if a person goes through a tramatic experience he loses his humanness or is so hurt he turns around and becomes bad and wants to hurt ppl himself. I guess it makes sence with robots as well as it be like the remains or resudue of a former program still about in there brain.[/glow]

But I still have problems with Optimus' change. Even Gary Chalk said he didn't like what happened to him. Sure his war had been for nothing, and at times it was good to see him diminished in a way, like when Cheetor took command, but going all religious and finding new faith in the Oracle was something I found a tad weird.

Then he got all obsessed with wiping out technology. That was just a little weird. Just a little. Even though it makes sense for Silverbolt to be different, it was still sad. His incredibly corny personality was so fun to make fun of.

Could be, but SB was so much better in the days of BW. He had an image and stuck to it, in BM he tried to be a little bit badder, but there were already too many characters like that!

References to religion THAT strong is never good in any tv show. It was even worse on one like that. Optimus Primal was a good character, with a good, stable mind and even a sense of humor. All of that changed when he became a fanatic...kinda like what happens when you throw religion into rl. And Silverbolt...am I the only one that noticed the voice change? I don't know, to me he sounded a bit more like Dinobot then the way his voice was in BW. And Blackarachnia...I suppose I can understand her going all out...after all, she had lost the guy of her dreams. However, I don't understand her putting up with his attitude afterwards. The Beast Wars Blackarachnia would have laid a smackdown on his ass when he started pulling that crap. Then she would have twisted the situation around so that it was HIM chasing her again. But, even though some of this makes sense...I will never...NEVER...forgive what they did to Rattrap!!!

[glow=blue,2,000]Like our Renegade RPG?[/glow] Possibly, which explains why Switch is an instant fan favorite! That is another thing, Blackarrachnia went to good, and she only did it for Silverbolt, with the Bird-dog gone you'd think she would have got a little angry at least.

Yeah, you think she'd be a little more cynical and smart assed. ...or is that Rattrap? After all, that's his ROLE. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention...but did ANYONE hear 'We're all gunna die' during that ENTIRE show?
