Now surely when bots start to get the size of cities someones got to say 'Where's the line?', the humans wouldn't just have bots THAT big walking around on their planet. [glow=blue,2,000] Thats the thing, they have no say in it. The Decepticons are gonna do what they want to do and the Autobots need to match that power some how.
But Metro and Trypys are too big for me. I'd like to see Omega (Damn said his name again!) and Trypsy go at it, same size and all. I'm not too keen on Metro.[/glow]

I hated Metro 'The big bot with a heart' plex. To me he was just a much bigger version of skyfire in personality and not all that different looking to Superion. I though Mr Supreme was a little bit smaller than Trypt anyway?

If you go by comics trips wa son a afr too small scale to give metro a fight, he was only Omega sort of sized or a little bigger. In the toon he was on the same scale as metroplex.

[glow=blue,2,000]I'm a little confused about the Metro and a heart comment, but in the comic Trypys made one appearence and he's basicly the height of 2 1/2 a Grimlock. I was actually cool seeing the Dinobots send him packing since in the UK comics they never seem to win.[/glow]

I always love when the Dinobots take on big bad guys and win, that's why they shouldn't be a gestalt, they'd just be too damn good

[glow=blue,2,000]Agreed. And Grimlock would defendately take command of the Autobots.
We haven't talked much about Fort Max and Scoropnok....
I thinks I liked them better in the comic then the show but loved the Japenesse take on Fort Max being a gaint ship and no Cerebros, jusy Max. Plus Max didn't go in to battle all the time. I mean most leaders do stay behind the frontlines where in TF (And GIJOE) the head honchos go in to battle leading there forces in.[/glow]

that's americans for you . I never really liked fort Max or Scoorponok, didn't really understand the whole thing about Scorponok having a heart and Fort Max just seemed like a a mini Metroplex although for some reason the toy was about an inch bigger

I think he means Zarak's humnaity (is that right for a nebulon?) asserting itself in the end of the road. Something im trying to carry over at Civil War with Scorponok, making him a flawed man who makes bad calls and the like.
It was cool to see that come to an end in that way, Scorponok had never ammounted to much in the comics and been dupe dby everyone who was anyone so it was good to see him have a final stand. I always saw him as perhaps one of the most honourable Decepticon leaders (not Bludgeon type honourable as thats a different story)

dammit L7, you let Rainy show off again! That's what I was reffering to though and in a way I agree, it made him have a Dinobot kind of ending as opposed to the traditional con leader ending but still, I didn't really think it suited the cons

Was a nice twist on the headmaster issue. I mean we saw Zarak only merge with Scorps to get them off his planet and to ultimately save it. And as much as Scorps would have corrupted Zarak into being a evil con warlord some of Zarak must have gotten through the Scorps. I looked on it as Zarak being very much the dominant personailty in Scorponok's form at the end of his life, hence doing the honourable thing.
He had to go down in history as one of the con leaders most hated by his own troops though, i mean how mnay turn coats and deserters did he have? lol

If he'd lived i think he would, the Autobot/Con alliance could have flourished to some degree. As it was his death left a power vacuum that the war thirsty Bludgeon seized.
