[glow=blue,2,000]Ok, I know Teletran is a super computer and all but how did they survive? I mean they crashed and were smashed to bits and all, but there were bots in the movie killed but not as smashed up.
Ok, I know the comic version explains it that since death is different for them as a robotic race, as long as there brain isn't destroyed I guess, they can come back. But that doesn't hold ground in the MTMTE episodes.
I know the movie was pretty much its own thing but still related, and that writers through out the show changed so nothing was ever really solid or concreate. So, any opinions?[/glow]

The only thing I can think of is the comic explanation. It does make sense, after all. Who knows how even their brains could survive that crash, though. Wasn't that thing going full-speed? Besides that, there's the effect it should've had on the environment...

Good point really but then again foir the amount people get bashed in the first few series and keep kikcing and the ammount they get bashe din the mvoie and die... I think Sunstreaker said it best when he said they set their phasers to kill. "What you mean this is the stun setting ive been using for the last two seasons?"

[glow=blue,2,000]Hehe, yeah right. I guess it could have been due to the Matrix, but the show wasn't dealing with the Matrix then. It could have been said that the very presents of the Matrix kept them alive until there were repaired. Teletran One comes back online and sences life in the robots around him. Maybe even intact sparks could have been the reason.
Or there were really more bots and cons and the ones that survived were the lucky ones. [/glow]

Yeah i like that, who knows what it would have been like if Noddy the motorcycle had lived after the crash?
But good point really, dont know how many there wer emaking up the crew, surely not all could have survived.

Seems only the ones in the bridge survived, command crew and boarding party. Now if there were more Autobots in the Ark than survived, then there were probably more Decepticons in the Nemesis than boarded the Ark. Yet in Beast Wars when Megatron ressurects the Nemesis, there's not a dead Decepticon to be found. Probably an oversight.

i heard a rumor that in beast wars when the nemesis was resurected that 3 of the decepticon jets were supposed to back on line and those were dirge, ramjet and thrust

[glow=blue,2,000]Interesting....
Or, in the show thats where they got the next season of Transformers....Or maybe that was it for the Decepticons.
This takes me back to a big write up I did on some thoughts I had on the origin of the war on Cybertorn and its progress.[/glow]

Well there my be a good explaination for that, but I think it's just one of the many animation errors and loop holes. I have the first part of the second season and it has a mistake reel. I agree with Latyrx7 about the guys who were killed in the movie and didn't look as beat up as the ones on the ark. One more reason why I hate the movie.

[glow=blue,2,000]What I find funny is the mistakes that ppl try and jusify as canon for the show. [/glow]

Didnt Shocky stay on the nemesis in the comic timeline? Thatd explain that...
As for the crash, Trailbreakers shield perhaps? Maybe they had big airbags?

[glow=blue,2,000]Well, we all know you died from your Achilles shoulder.....wait wrong ship....
Yeah, Shockwave was on the Nemesis, though it wasn't called the Nemesis in the comic, UK version maybe? He then left the ship behind in space and went after the Ark but ended up in the Savage Lands and met the Dinobots and invited them in for a tar bath.[/glow]

Hasn't anbyone considered the possibility that the force of impact simply wasn't enough to kill them? Maybe the Ark has crumple zones...

[glow=blue,2,000]Well, its sort of obvious thats the case but at the same time considering the factors that can kill a TF it makes little sence in away. But as TF grows certain things can be explained better. Its just when a few laser bolts can take out a mech one may think a crashing ship would mean ceratin doom. Would you rather crash land on earth in a out of control space ship coming from space or a few shots to the chest? Make it a plane or a MASA space ship and I'd rather take my chances with getting shot! [/glow]

the way I see it none of the transformers were buckled up, there were no Airbags on board and none of the minibots were in their carseats. On the other hand let's give the transformers some credit, Unlike prime I beleive they were made of sterner steel. So in conclusion I beleive they survived because of their size, mass and composition.
