Ok according to what i read in the Ultimate Guide to Transformers (or as TF for dummies as someone told me ) It says that Unicron was Primus brother herald. It also says that he had two forms, a astral plain form and a pyhsical form which was a planet. His alt mode is meant to be what his Astral form sorta looks like. I believe G1 Unicron would kick Armarda Unicrons butt! I also am tyring to save up and buy the HArd Hero statue of G1 that looks really cool!

The fact that G1 Unicron is Orson Welles already gives his kudos over grumbling stoopid Unicron from Armada! The film voice was superb, just added so much weight to a new character! Shame the season 3 voice was done by whoever did Bruticus (i forget) as whilst it was ok it was generic big slow guy voice.
I really liked the flashbacks in the original comic to the astral forms (with primus almost looking like rodimus). Was a nice touch to have them hark towards the character design in robot mode.
Am itrigued to see how DW pan it out with Scourge being 'birthed' inside Unicon as a 1st gen of heralds and now the Cyclonus generaion (see DW G1 issue 0).

i wonder if this means that Glavatron will be birthed as well.
Question though was there any more to do with unicron after the movie in the comics?

Well in the cartoon you saw Unicron's head a lot and he was semi awakened in Grimlocks New Brain and Starscreams GGhost (orm is that Ghost in the Machine? I forget).
In the comic his head wasnt in orbit of Cybertron and was later found to be on Junk where he wa smind controlling the Junkions to build him a new bopdy. They actually made it as far as the shoulders lol.
Other than that future storyline I dont believe we saw him other than his present day appearanc ein All Fall Down/End of the Road.

I like the fact that Unicron was heartless! he was all about himself and the only thing he feared was The Matrix and Neo..wait that's another movie..anyway Unicron in planet mode was cool I did think the sound effect of him crunching up stuff with his teeth was corny..it was that good old *chomp chomp sound.. but other then that Orsen Welles was the man.

So to kick off a fun old debate:
Is Galvatron Megatron in a new body or a seperate entity simply with Megatron's memories.
Are Cyclonus and Scourge really T'cracker and Skywarp or Bombshell and T'cracker (as seen in the movie animation) and do they have those character's memories or are they seperate entities.
I have my thoughts, yours?

K ive examened the footage in slow motion and i believe that Cyclonus and Scourge really Thunder Cracker and Skywarp.
When it shows the two seekers and 3 insecticons together unicron says "and these shall be you minions". i slowed it down quickly and it had i'm sure two insecticons ( Kickback, Shrapnel) a seeker (Thundercracker), Insecticon (Bombshell), seeker (skywarp).
Next scene we see kickback and srapnel with a seeker. i believe this is Thundercracker as he is nearest to them in the original 5 group. Scourge = Thundercracker
Next scene we see bombshell and i believe skywarp and one of them becomes Cyclonus and the other his armarda.
I also believe that they carry some charcteristics from their previous lives but are seperate entities.
Galvatron on the other hand i believe before the movie was Megatron upgraded to his fullest.
if ive confused anyone with my stuff i can explain again

No it makes sense. My two cents:
I think Cyclonus and Scourge are made from Bomshell and T'cracker respectively but are seperate entities forged from their bodies. Id like them to be Skywarp and Tcracker but I dont think they are. The other insecticons were the sweeps and Skywarp Armada. Someone once said it would be good if the sweeps were the insecticons so they could clone themselves as we often see mnay sweeps in the cartoon.
As for Galvatron, I agree he IS Megatron taken to his fullest physically and mentally (which drives himinsane ultimately).

yeah my money was on THundercracker for scourge but i wasn't sure whether bombshell or skywarp was cyclonus.
question: do u think Galvy went insane from the head injury he recieved from being thrown thru unicron and then falling into the lava?

From a cartoon stand point i think so. I think you;'re supposed to reason tyhat sitting in a pool of lava for a year or whatever fried his brain. In the comic Megs was crazy to begin with so it explains a lot...

Id say yeah.
They only beat him in Tagret 2006 by convincing him he was in an alternate past by faking Starscream;s death so that the seeker could never boot him into space in the movie.
Seeing Megs in Time Wars and stuff confused him a lot too as he relived everything through Megs eyes (in his memories) as well as being there himself.
All of this and some others more than likely contributed to his decent but Megs was always a nut job.

He ate planets, what more needs to be said? He was just hard as nails. Screw that power of the matrix crap, he let them think they'd won to lull them into a false sense of security. Little do they know he is now consolidating his power
