So who would win in a fight? Your favourite Autobot or your favourite Decepticon if they fought. I think Jazz and Starscream would be evenly matched in my fav vs fav fight.

Gaah! Mine would be pretty evenly matched too with Vs Grimlock has great, great strength on his side, but Starscream has an Ariel advantage, Grimlock has his flamethrower in his mouth but Starscream has his air cannons and missiles. Starscream s treacherousness, but Grimlock might, and Starscream also basically a coward at heart. I think Starscream is more likely to give up and turn tail long before Grimlock ever thinks about it!

Well, depending on the fiction, the dinobots were all capable of flight in robot mode.

Grimlock could never out fly Starscream IMO.

Not out fly, no. But still, the skies wouldn't totally be Starscream's.

Starscream's speed and ability to hit Grimlock at a distance puts him at a huge advantage. If Grimlock got his hands on him, game over. But Starscream in the air against Grimlock, Grimlock is going to get hammered!

Starscream's cowardice would play a major part though. Things start going against him and he'd turn tail and run.

And you've got to remember, Grimlock was blastin away Sweeps with his flame breath. He seemed to have pretty decent range. Plus, he is farm more durable than Starscream.

Starscream isn't really a coward. Not when compared to a coward like Thurst. He's vain as hell, so when the going gets tough he's not going to allow himself to get shown up. In any situation he's going to take off when things aren't going his way.
And if were going to use the original show, then Grimlock is always going to win cause he was one of the good guys. Realistically, Grimlock can't fly and didn't have flame breath on his tech spec. If he could fly, he can't go against a Transformer that turns into a jet and a flame thrower can't realistically take out a combat jet as it flies by.
The only advantage Starscream has when on the ground with Grimlock or in an enclosed area is his Nuller ray. With Grimlock's slow speed Starscream could properly get him but Grimlock's armor would properly save him and keep him in the fight until Starscream ran out of firepower.
If Grimlock was to ground Starscream, the battle is his. Starscream would rule the fight as long as he stayed in the air.

Fair enough. Would be an interesting battle, good pick Hoist. It is hard for me to pick a Fav Bot and Fav Con. I more or less gave up on that and just have a Fav Con and Bot for each series. I'll go with my G1 favorites for now. VS So, Cyclonus has air superiority, but Hound is smart, and his holograms would give Cyclonus a run for his money. I ultimately think Hound would out smart Cyclonus, but then Cyclonus isn't dumb himself.

Hound would have to be smart and sneaky. IMO it would have to be a drawn out battle for Hound to win it. I think Hound would get the drop on Cyclonus but I don't think he has the muscle or the firepower to really take the former herald of Unicron down. What I think the two are evenly match in too would be their wills. Hound has a solid character and Cyclonus is a solid Decepticon.

Hound is good on the fly with his holograms, that why I think he could definitely drag a battle out until he sees the perfect moment to take a shot at Cyclonus.

I'd like to see God Ginrai (Powermaster Prime with Apex armour) take on Shockwave.
God Ginrai has the firepower and agility to take down the likes of Overlord and Black Zarak (who is the upgraded version of Skorponok), but Shockwave has the intelligence and cold, hard logic to make it an interesting fight, not to mention the firepower to defeat Skorponok as well. In terms of sheer firepower, it would probably be a dead heat. It would come down to Shockwave's logic vs Ginrai's human element (since Ginrai is a Godmaster and therefore human).

Excellent points made in the Grimlock vs. Starscream discussion; valid arguments were made for both being victorious!
I've always counted Hound as one of my all-time favorites, and I agree his use of holograms would make for an interesting battle, but I fear Cyclonus would walk away the victor when all was said and done.
I think a Trailbreaker vs. Skywarp fight could be interesting, with Trailbreaker's force-fields and Skywarp's teleportation making for interesting combat situations...
