Yeah, Soundwave definitely looks like a predator drone.
I like Cliffjumper better that Skyquake, but IMO neither should have died.

I agree that neither should have died,(at the very least not right away) I was just speaking numerically...
esp since the hub is labeled a kids network... just sayin

Well, they did kill Dinobot in BW and I watched it as a kid. Of course, it was more heroic and less gruesome and meaningless as was Cliff's.
Kids and parents, on the other hand, usually don't feel that strongly against bad guys dieing.

Yeah, and he wasn't torn apart, his was lack of energon (bot mode too long) Also agreed on the bad guys
I just had a thought that skyquake isn't really dead... all we saw was him close his eyes... severely damaged, but not necessarily dead... and despite ratchet's malfunction in this episode (lol... sorry couldn't resist) isn't he the ony one who can really tell who's still online? I mean look at what happenned with megatron (I have a feeling we are going to have a galvatron thing going...)

Nah, Megs is only alive because of Dark Energon and is a special case. The story writers claim once dead, always dead. They said only in flash back type thing might they consider dead characters to be used.

Not a bad one, all though even little of the kids was still too much and Bumblebee is starting to annoy me. I really hope they're not going to keep introducing characters only to kill them off - if Skyquake is dead. I liked Skyquake alot.
Still loving Arcee, Bulkhead and Ratchet. Starscream is so cold and even more devious I love him! One moment that really stood out for me was seeing (From Prime's P.O.V.) Skyquake going down in flame's - that shot from behind Prime panning right to left as Skyquake went down was special for me.
7/10

Big preview for TF Prime episode "Scrapheap" also a bit spoilerish. SeibertronI think it looks great, but I can't help feel it is a bit gruesome, even if they are giant robots.

Not a bad episode and I'm so glad they didn't turn it into a Rafe episode as it so seemed in the first part of the episode.
Still, the episode was dark. Optimus and Arcee almost freezing to death. The image of Transformers being eaten alive, and the imagery painted by Bulkhead.....Dark.
Humans need to die.

Its like the demon bunny from... well you get the idea... agreed very dark...
"Not even the optics"
I do have to say though, that had there been no humans, it would have turned out differently... personally, I am undecided on them the bots are definitely cool though
I would like to point out that this is the first episode with ZERO con activity... which I find interesting and mildly disturbing, especially sine we know how the last episode ended

Well, they will probably go the Animated route where not every episode has a Decepticon thread. Think about it, even the legendary Beast Wars cartoon felt over bad-guyed. Every episode saw the Predacons start something and then lose. Made them seem less powerful.

I like the idea of having the 'Cons not being used often. Makes them seem like more of a threat, rather than bumbling fools who get beaten every week.

Not a bad idea... but it may open up being beaten every other week (literally)
So far the only "loss" by the autobots was cliffjumper... the cons have lost the space bridge, undead army, skyquake(apparently), and a severely damaged megatron... btw I still think there may be a galvatron thing possibly happenning... like in RiD and the cybertron trilogy... (I think that's all...)

Not a bad idea... but it may open up being beaten every other week (literally) Well, with Animated, the Autobots encountered the 'Cons one or two at a time, and only in a couple of episodes each series, they only faced them en masse during the series finale. I'm hoping they do something similar with Prime, keeping the 'Cons as a serious threat to the Autobots.

Well, with a ship and many ... decepticlones?... they definitely are a serious threat...
Another plot point: more characters... are they gonna do like the movies and have more show up, trickle in, for either side... or like beast wars and have them randomly in... the characters are great, but only having a few is going to get boring

I don't know. Right now they've only introed Skyquake, and they killed him. It depends on what they do with Wheeljack next week.
I wouldn't look to them growing substantially in cast size. Like Animated and Beast Wars before it, they've decided that sticking to a centralized cast instead of a growing and growing cast in which less and less characterization comes through.
Think about it. In 3 seasons of Beast Wars they only introduced like 9 or so characters that weren't part of the original cast. and many after killing of others.
