In today's 4 for 4 we're looking at the legacy of Tankor and his vital role in The Beast Machines war.
After watching season #1 of Beast Machines again, I just just how big it really was, I never really thought about it before. Especially coming from whom he was - in the Beast Wars. Esentially falling from being a good mech to being corrupted by Megatron from then on throughout the Beast machines his ultimate plan to bring not only Megatron down, but become the ruler of everyone, and everything.
So what are your thoughts on the significance of this character, start to finish?

To be honest. It has been years (at least 5) since I watched Beast Machines and for the life of me, I can't even remember Tankor's role other than being Rhinox. Was never that memorable a character to me, none of the Vehicons were.

You should watch it again! I know the show has it's faults, some BIG faults, but it's worth it. Tankor also stole the key to Vector Sigma to plot the down fall of Megatron, his vehicons and the Maximals. He became pretty pivotal and not just a clone running around.
I don't think thrust had a teriibly exciting personality but the same can' be said for Jetstorm! pretty memorable to me. Back to tankor though, and he basically faked his death so he could ultimatetly rule, even manipuating meg's diagnostic drone.

I always felt like the Rhinox/Tankor character was a highlight of the series; I remember when the reveal was made thinking it was pretty awesome. Sorta like Hal Jordan, after Coastal City was destroyed, went bat-shiznitz crazy all in the name of making the universe a safer place.
