Quick question: Does WFC allow for two player to play at the same time? And I just don't mean online. Basically my gf wouldn't mind playing the game as well and we've tried looking for decent games that allow 2 players at once. We've killed all the Lego games (SW, Indy,Batman), Marvel Alliance 2 looks good for 2 players, waiting for the price to drop on that one....

I think it should. The whole campaign is designed around being completely cooperative. Split screen I would think be part of that.

Multiplayer demo out TODAY exclusive too the 360!
Update: Played a few rounds and it is great. You get to play as wither a scout (cars) or solider (tanks). No customization to the overall look of the characters in the demo, but you get to choose you starting weapons, specials, and abilities. Only 2 models each for the character classes. Bumblebee for the autobot scout and Barricade for the decepticon scout. Warpath for the autobot soldier and Megatron for the decepticon soldier.

Can't think of where else to put this, so it goes here.
My impression of the game is.... its awesome! Not matter what the critics say, it's fun and a good game. Even little things that bug me about it are forgotten once I got into it. The next WFC will properly be even better.
***SPOILERS***
The story isn't bad. My only complaint is the Starscream bit, where not long after joining the Decepticons, he's wants to replace Megatron soon afterwards. While Hasbro may have pushed aside all the hard work of previous TF writers (Furman for example) its a cool story with some bright points that do make sense and won't leave you groaning.
This is a G1 game, but its a dark G1 game. A lot darker then the orginal show. In fact I'd say it's more on par with the comic. And that being said, I'm glad to see the Smelting pool in it, if just for a moment here or there. There's even some parts borrowed from the movie, all good. I think this was the right thing to do, pure G1 style would have properly had some ppl bored of the game quickly.
Hover cars! Everyone is a hover car! When I first heard this, I was kinda wishing they kept them cars, but they actually made the vehicle modes a hybred between cars with tires and hover jets. Its actually awesome, so awesome I want to work that in to my rpgs from now on.
Weapons. A lot of machine guns and shotguns. Not bad I guess, nothing with really bright lasers like the Armada game on the PS2. Bit of a pain trying to find ammo though. I figured maybe the creators used mainly guns, or a gun like effect when the weapons fire, because they wanted to give the game a more real effect? Or maybe it was easier to put in that code for guns that fired bullets? Or maybe lasers would be too bright for the combat they had in there? Anyway, what ever the reason, I'm a little devided on it. While the weapons are cool, their ammo is limited as mentioned before, and there's not a large varity of them. A lot of TF weapons are different. Acid pellets, darts, grenades (there's a mortar but you have to activate the explosive) glass gun, liquid nitrogen and etc. I think some of those would have been cool. But maybe next time.
I think my last point is voices. Some are extremely well done, others not so much. Prime, Omega and Soundwave sound the closest to the original G1 voices. Megatron, Ironhide and Ratchet is awesome, and Trypticon is better then the G1 version. Starscream, well nothing compares to his original voice so no point in discussing that. Others like Sideswipe are ok and Warpath, Skywarp and Thundercracker, not so much. However, the dialogue is good and the personalities are there. In fact I like Bumble Bee and Trypticon in the game better then in the show. Bee is a serious go getter and can fight and Trypticon doesn't sound like an idiot.
My only real complaint though, everything else I can live with and not mind, is their isn't enough Sideswipe in the game. First robbed of Jazz and now Sideswipe! If your fav characters made it into the game, you might have just one chapter with them. Ratchet, Sideswipe, Warpath, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Jetfire, AirRaid and Silverbolt make it for only one chapter. I would love to play the entire game as Sideswipe or Air Raid, ah well, c'est la vie!
Thats what I got for now, my munch break is over so my post ends there. Will have more on the game later.

I think we need a new thread for those that have beaten it, that way we can discuss it without having to forewarn people of spoilers........Maybe not though.
---------------------------Spoiler Alert--------------------------------------
I agree with you about Starscream. First he is trying to impede Megatron getting comand of his station, then in the next chapter he is ready to take over the Decepticons. I realize the plot wasn't about Starscream so they didn't take time to progress him more thoughtfully. They had a points to get too, and Starscream wasn't really that.
About the voices, Skywarp and Thundercracker, from what I recall, barely talked in the show. To me, I wasn't bothered. Warpath was just ridiculous in G1, and they tried to be a little more down to earth with the characters and less cartoony. Megatron was taken down an octave to not sound screechy like his G1 self.
While there are a tirade of different weaponry in the transformers universe, they were making a game. Games usually have maybe 10 weapons. I prefer projectile weaponry over the laser guns of old any day. They had to make the guns work like guns because this is a game. Reloading and Ammo are variables in you success. I too found that some parts were hard to find ammo, and I think it is more that they put the ammo pickup in hard to find places than there just wasn't ammo. I'm sure we will see more interesting weapons like acid guns and whatever in another game if they get that chance, but they just went for a solid set of weapons, and aside from the plasma canon which I have still yet to find a reason to use the piece of junk, the weapons are all pretty solid.
The limited characters in the game was kind of a let down, but they could only do so much. The story was more important than the amount of transformers you play as. Hopefully more will be added in DLC for Escalation and Multiplayer, and I'd expect to see more if they make a second.
Now, I still say Rumble is red, Frenzy is Blue.
