530 pounds for Crumplezone?!?!?! Thats just over $830 Canadian?!?!?!?! Thats insane!!
I remember giving X-Bot the gears for paying something like $300 dollars for Reflector.
Blitzwing for 55 pounds which is around $87 Canadian. Don't know, tough call. If I had the dough, maybe. Thats still a lot of cash. But I have spent it on some TFs in my collection so who am I to judge?

The most I spent on a figure was like $100 for MP Grimlock
I'd go anywhere from $150 to $190 to DX-10 Metals Ravage, or a MoC BW Grimlock.

If I had MP Groimlock, which I still want btw!, that that'd be top payout for me as well. I'd consider 3rd party stuff as well but that's pricey as well, although that's reflected in being not as mass produced as proper lines, so much more love and detail has gone into them. 530 pounds for Crumplezone?!?!?! It's not like it's special or ultra rare. Around £50 is about standard now for a Generation one these days, I wrestled with it but was prepared to pay out because of what it is. Then there's the box ... XD I'm not one for keeping things sealed MIB, but even I will struggle with this one! (Ah who am I kidding, course I'll take it out - just very carefully! no as not to damage the box.) A standard FoC figure can be £15.99 here, the generations one with shiny, shiny paint; (And believe me, Shockwave and Grimlock were in the 4 - 5 choices I had before Blitzwing), can be about £24.99 alone. But then you are paying for better quality paint.

I've seen a few WFC/FOC figures here for $20. While I think Megatron and Starscream are the only ones worth paying for. The others are ok or don't translate well from their video game look to toy form IMO.
I've always told myself that if I got rich I would still be picky in what I bought when it came to TF toys (and other things). Some TFs just don't appeal to me. I've never been a huge fan of the G1 Megatron toy. I would only buy it for the collection but it would depend on the price. If it was in perfect condition for $200, I don't know. But if I had the loot, then yeah. But I don't think I would be so happy with it.

I only buy those that appeal, if I found FoC Shockwave standard version elsewhere then I'd get him over the shinny shiny paint version. (Although I want shiny Grimlock!) Not getting shiney shiney for Comabticons though - being there's 5 of them, despite how garish the Hasbro colours are for the regulars.
I realised swindle suffered the "Big chest" syndrome when I got him but was prepared to compromise on that, I can't however justify the big gaping hole spaces in Primes arms.. It's difficult to get then to translate into a decent toy based on the game, I do which I'd got the Shiny paint Jazz though not the standard, not because of what it is, just because the colour scheme is more acurate to the game - as is the general look of him.

update
my 2nd hand Primus finally came through! although he's missing parts & accessories he's still a cool figure
because he's missing his front or back panel section, it leaves a gaping hole when he's in Cybertron mode, but in robot mode it's barely noticeable
although I did try n look for that panel on Ebay, but the only seller that has one, only ships within the US, I tried to message him, but that wouldn't take
so
anyone got any idea of any other websites that maybe selling Primus parts, especially that panel section, or is anyone on here selling Primus parts that is willing to ship those to the UK?
please

I don't know anywhere specifically. though if I find anything I'll let you know. Given the age of the toy and the toy line it's from (Cybertron), I think your best bet will be to stick with Ebay in all honesty. It might just be a case of time and just keep looking and looking.

I have never spent more than 50 bucks for a Transformer. Only Transformer I spent 50 bucks on was Unicron when he came out. After that it was like 35 bucks for Ramhorn and Rewind together complete.
Now if we're talking about getting a Transformer that need a lot of parts and combining the cost for those parts then it would be Metroplex because when I got him he only had a couple parts. Roughly added up for Metroplex and all the parts I paid for him to be complete came out to 80 bucks.
