As Taran's hook flew through the air to connect with the gasket, just ahead of the falling projectile a long coil was stretched out in its path, threatening to deflect the gasket in a new direction once it made contact. At the last second, the gasket hit the coil and bounced back upwards in a another direction -
- but the grapple hooked its self on the gasket before it could go anywhere else. Taran had his prize, but now the very wire he stood, like many around him, began to heat up to high unbearable temperatures.
Alpha Trion looked at his student with a grin. "Excellent. And you have taught me that even I can debate and score a victory even with the stubbornness of them! I joke. Now come, let us transform and head home." The avalanche so came to an end and the two transformed and headed back to camp.
Alpha Trion looked over Litos. "Its a fine name. One worth waiting for. You will have to be as strong as it, for I fear it will rest on your shoulders to win the conflict. At least more so then some of your peers. Now, lets introduce you to our old friends." Alpha Trion lead Litos back to the surface to rejoin the rest of the students.
Taran leaped from the wire, while his grapple began to reel in at high speeds. He intercepted the gear in mid air, before landing on another wire. He made his way between wire after wire, avoiding the one that were to hot, though sometimes landing on ones that would sear his feet a bit. He made it to the cliff side, transformed tossing the gear in the air. His 8 legs grasped the cliff side as his grapple shot out and latched to the gear in air. He began his accent, the gear hanging behind him from his grapple.
Switchblade rolled one of his shoulders as the wolves ran off. His audio receptors were still ringing slightly as Alpha Trion spoke.
"I imagine I have learnt many things today, whether we agree on them is another matter. However, I believe the lesson you were trying to teach me is that my blades aren't my only weapon. And I guess I was also being taught I don't need to kill an opponent in order to be victorious." He answered.

With a few more steps and a jump, Taran was back up on the edge of the cliff. The gasket was swung up by the grapple and Alpha Trion caught it with ease. "Fantastic! You have learnd much today. I can tell. Your focus while in motion was like nothing I had seen before. Now come, instead of telling me what it is that your learn, tell your peers. Today we shall share all that we have learn."
As Taran reverted to robot form, Alpha Trion guided him away from the cliff, when unseen to his student he tossed the gasket back over the edge of the cliff. Where it landed at the bottom with hundreds of other gaskets and spread across the ground and broken.
"Yes Switchblade!" Exclaim Alpha Trion. "Indeed. You and your brothers in arms are indeed the weapons. Not these extensions that you wield. It is you, your spark, your mind, yourself. And yes, you do not have to kill. It is important to know when to kill and when not to kill. Now come, it's been a long day. Your the second last of the your brothers that I have had to train. Tomorrow I have to see to Guren's test."
The small robot was trembling in a corner of the maze. Scared and whimpering to himself, he was still in total darkness due to the goggles strapped to his head. And then he heard someone approaching. Guren tensed up and tried to prepare himself for the worst. He felt a hand grip his goggles and then there was light. There with the goggles in hand stood Alpha Trion. "I was told you showed great bravery when your friends were in trouble. Now you cower in the corner instead of using your training to escape. What is it Guren? Speak to me?"
Alpha Trion reached out his free hand only to have it smacked away. Guren got up and ran away despite Alpha Trion calling after him to stop. Alpha Trion could only watch and wonder where he had gone wrong.
