Hey guys, so sorry I haven't gotten a GM action in yet. I am terrible sorry about that. Had some long days at work last week, and a weekend finishing up the fence we had started last week. I haven't been able to ingest all the posts made since the last time I made a post. I'm afraid I cant get to that today, either.
I will be out of town starting tomorrow through Sunday for Thanksgiving. I will have limited internet access. However, I have next Monday off and I have every and all intentions to move us forward into the next chapter then.
Again, sorry for my being slow.

Just so everyone knows I'm helping Onix out with the GM duties at the moment. I can only do so much and right now I'm assisting with the assault on the bridge.

By the time she finished though, her sight was back to normal and she forced back or finished what remained of the vehicons Sorry Tundra but finishing off the Vehicons we can't allow. Basically, you've posted an successful action. Players are suppose to post attempted actions. Using your Corrosion-Spittor against the Vechicons is all good, but finishing them off with just that actions makes your character too powerful. Download was now pulling out her V32.Cyber Corruptor and shot it to some of the cons, her optic site was coming back now, and now some of the cons are attach each which gave download some rest time. Lightstream, same thing. You've posted a successful action here too. While I don't mind too much that you two have taken some liberties with the Vehicons, especially as I understand that Onix is busy and that you two want to have fun in this RPG, when players take a large amount of control of the GM's NPCs, there isn't much I can do. You've decided the outcome which is my job. So what we can do is either the two of you can adjust your posts, or I can bring in more Vehicons or we can go by your actions you can wait for the next GM post from Onix when ever that might be. But if we change the posts we can make things more fun for the two of you in the meantime.

Bomblast lowered his weapons and leaned against the wall, sulking. +++IC+++ "I wasn't going to shoot you....Hey! You're sitting on a grenade! I can see it right there! Oh, I get it. If you get blown up, you want it to be on your own terms. Gotcha!" +++IC+++LOL! This is why I love you BB!!

Post changed, but from the way the GM post sounded there didn't seem that many. Guess I could have read it wrong since a few Vehicons don't seem difficult to take out from the start. But go figure.*shrug*

There was no indication of any amount of Vehicons in my post large or small. But still to keep things fair attempted actions have to taken. And if you look at how myself and other seasoned players are writing in our posts how difficult the Vehicons are beings then you'll get a better idea how we handle combat posts here. If players were to post successful actions all the time there be no sense of danger.

I said it didn't seem there were many, and also stated I could have read it wrong considering I typed the post during a time I was rather tired and probably misunderstood what was written. Not saying I'm not a seasoned roleplayer myself, but misreading of a post happens sometimes and in the post I said "forced back or finished", which means I left it open in my first post to be be decided if they were forced back or actually finished, not outright saying they were finished off so I may have some disagreement that was an entirely successive action. But that just may be my view from writing the post, and not saying your wrong either way.
Maybe I could have typed my post to be worded differently to have made it more clear, but at this rate I changed it to hopefully make more sense. But I went ahead and changed part of the sentence a bit more so it was clearer, and the fact using an Iphone isn't the best option to edit but all I had at the time I first edited it. XD So, not recommended if you can avoid it.

Stating whether they were forced back or finished off is still a result of an action. You posted what your character did and then a result. And posting two results is still results with no thought or consideration to the other player's or GM counter action.

Guess I don't see how it's not considering another player's action when there is still room for a reaction, but guess I'm not as familiar with how this works as I thought. But I edited the post yesterday twice, so is the new one going to work then or does it still need changing? Otherwise, I'm stumped of what more you want me to do change the outcome other then what I now have. I'm not trying to argue with you or anything Jazz I'm just having a hard to figuring out how there's no place another player or the GM could still react, the Vehicons could sill have avoided the Corrosive spittor or gone back enough Vela had room. If I didn't make that clear before I certainly tried to this time.

The point is that results of an action were posted by the same players who posted the actions. You may feel you left enough room however one must consider that they do not know the intentions of what the other person was intending on doing. I don't expect anyone to be a mind reader but we can't just make assumptions or we end up with situations where we end up with dead ends. The post made was the Vehicons were pushed back or finished off, those are huge results especially for one character to make. And considering that guided the end result of the action to only two conclusions I find very controlling, limiting, inconsiderate and unfair. And I'm in the role of GM, its usually the GM who makes that sort of call. I could of simply thrown in more Vehicons sure, I could carry on and have allowed what happen to have happen and brought in more Vehicons but the RPG rules do state that attempts have to be made and results posted by the GM. Now I am usually very, very generous with players smashing up NPCs and allowing them to take down one or two at a time but forcing back or finishing off a group NPCs is too much IMO.

Alright I made a mistake, I did an action I thought was fine but I get it wasn't. Like I said, for one I probably misread the post at a time I was very tired and for the most part wrote what came to mind and second I am only saying i have a hard time seeing how it was inconsiderate. Perhaps this is a little different then I expected so made a mistake on that part, I'll make sure I'm more careful with such things from now on. But I still haven't gotten an answer to my question twice, is my new post fine or does it need to be edited more?
And I am not saying your not generous, from my perspective it wasn't anything overly done as I've been on forums that has happened. Maybe I jumped the gun on that and made a mistake, but this is the first forum I've seen that someone decides certain actions for some things so it's a learning process. I'm not new to role playing and I know how to be fair with my posts, but I am somewhat new to the way things are done here and as I said above I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
