Ok, so I know everyone here is thinking about the next SW movie, if not then well thats ok, this is a Transformers message forum so your off the hook, FOR NOW.
Anyhow, while this isn't a thread with any spoilers, maybe you shouldn't read this. But I have some predictions about what will happen in the next movie that I want to get out. Plus this would be a great place to post them and then see if I'm right! Bragging rights all the way!
So, remember this isn't necessarily a spoilers thread and you shouldn't post anything that has been leaked.
So ok here I go!
I think Han Solo and Leia won't be married like they are in the books. I think they'll be divorced! I believe this because one it fits with in there previous relationship dynamics and just to do something opposite from the books.
Also, I don't think Han Solo will be at the held of the Millennium Falcon. If Han Solo has any kids, I think one of them will be flying it. In fact I think said Solo kid or kids will have stolen it.
And I think the reason the Millennium Falcon gets stolen is to get to Dagobah. Reason why I say Dagobah is I think Luke is going to there trying to figure out that cave he went into. After all he did say he felt he had been there before, perhaps the writers will elaborate on that!

Nice idea,
I think they will be married and Luke will be trying to get a Jedi school (Temple) back into the works. Han and Leia have 3 kids and one joins the dark side to be like his grandpa...which they never talk about.
The falcon will have a cameo, and r2 and 3po will save the universe.

Han and Leia have 3 kids and one joins the dark side to be like his grandpa...which they never talk about. But that happened in the novels! I don't think they'll do it again since they stated their not following the novels. I think the Solos will have offspring of some kind, and I would like to see the 3 original brats too. As for the Temple, if they did do it I think we'd see it right away since episode 7 takes place something like 30 years in the future.

But it has to wake up first!

How does it wake up? Do you think Han and Leia hide that facet from their kids? Teen Wolf style...they come home one day freaked out cause they can move things with their minds?!

That would actually work ya know? I mean, imagine if one of the characters just began to make things happen, like how a Mutant realizes his powers in an X-Men comic. He'd be sought after by the good and bad guys all at once. That's where Luke would come in as a mentor.

I can imagine the Solo son flying the Falcon, unfortunately the scene when I imagined when I read that instantly was - teenage Jedi angst. "Just borrowing the falcon dad! Don't wait up!" Or not telling him and sneaking off using it then going to an intergalactic bar and getting drunk trying to fly it back in one piece only to crash it!
I do hope the former stars aren't just five minute cameos. It would be good if they borrowed elements from the books by - Timothy Zahn I think it were good.

Not the first time its happened! But Disney is actually been disrespectful to the fans IMO. I mean its a business move of course, and like all movies its business I know, but considering how much money they will make off this movie(s) to have it premiere this way and not online for all fans to see I don't think is cool. Its a cheap money grab plus online communities who have spread the word about the new SW movie shouldn't have to pay to see the trailer. I mean of course no one asked them to twitter and blog and etc online about SW E7 but it's free advertising when you think about it. Plus its not like the online communities were asking for anything except a good movie, which should happen regardless. Screw you Mickey! I think Luke will get a lot of screen time. I just hope we don't see a repeat of what happened in New Hope and Phantom where the old Jedi Mentor is killed off right away. I highly doubt it but it JJ decides to play it like the classic movies, hey you never know. Don't you think its weird that not only did JJ did the new Star Trek movies but he's also using the same original actors too? I'm talking about Spock and possibly Kirk now?

As long as JJ doesn't over-do the lens flare.
Must be the man for the job! Although I didn't rate the first Star Trek movie by JJ, and I won't see the other one.
So the first teaser trailer is out! Small thrill with the looks of the x-wing and Falcon, even the Stormtroopers look bad-ass. SHows what a modern age look, lighting as well as cgi of course (Hope some practicle effects are still used though) will do. Only comment about the lightsaber is not about the extra bit, but the blade looks too skinny IMO.

There's been a lot of complaints about it online. My feelings about it is, we've seen just one lightsaber, lets not freak out yet.

I welcome the new lightsaber. There's been loads of different weapons in the Expanded Universe (the tonfas are my personal favourite) and I've been looking forward to seeing some different designs.
I thought the X-Wings, TIE Fighters and YT1300 (Obviously the Falcon, but you never know) looked pretty damn cool. Not a whole lot of lens flare, so it looks like JJ has been listening to the criticism of the Star Trek films.

I'm indifferent to different designs, it's 2015, I welcome it - as long as it not freakishky different then I'm more than happy.
I remain skeptical with JJ though, well see with the full movie and only then to be honest. This is only a 3o second teaser and it's too early to tell IMO. It'll come down to the film itself for me. I just hope he does something original (Unlike the new Trek films), and so far it looks that way, so far.
