Unicron's Floating Head. Renegade HQ. Blip was walking through the halls on his way to the Training Hub. As he walked, he held in his right hand his datapad. On the screen, he had the complete history of Cybertronians, Humans and the Bogquix, all the up-to-date news from Cybertron and, just for fun, Nightbeat's latest crime novel. As a display of his intellect, Blip was reading all of them at once. He weaved his way through the other Renegades on his journey, occasionally greeting them. Blip eventually made it to the Training Hub. He walked past some of the warriors that were training with each other to get to the space he'd requested. Blip was so engrossed in his datapad that he walked straight into someone.
"Hey! Watch where you're goi..." Blip trailed off as he looked up and saw he had collided with Roadtrain. "Sorry sir, I was engrossed.
Roadtrain was stood there without his armour, as was usual when he was in the base. His armour was next to him in trailer mode.
"Quite alright Blip."
Blip looked around.
"So, er, what brings you down here, sir?"
"I needed to make a few tweaks to my armour, it was restricting my movement more than usual. I was about to test it out when I saw your name on the roster."
"Yes sir, Command has asked me to train one of the new recruits. She's a scout from the sounds of her profile." Blip replied, bringing up the profile of his trainee. "You haven't seen her around, have you?"
((OOC: Ok Tundra, Speedwind can either already be there, or she can turn up.))

Speedwind being a new recruit couldn't have been more obvious. The femme found herself having gotten lost among the halls of the Renegade's Headquarters, which much to her surprise had been Unicron's head and was surprisingly much larger then she could have imagined. This didn't quite help her current predicament, having to move down the halls in search of the Training Hub, cursing under her breathe for not having better memorized the base like some recruits did.
Honestly, she couldn't have felt more embarrassed by here carelessness to doing so as she finally summed up the courage to inquire to one of the other Renegades who directed her to the right place and luckily in terms of time she was a bit early. Though, that was because she had headed off early to ensure that if this did happen she could avoid being lost and late. Sighing softly in relief, Speedwind made her way around the training mechs towards the space she was suppose to meet the mech known as Blip, which she assumed was the mech already there along with someone else who she had come to hear around the place was Roadtrain, one of the squad leaders.
"Uh...that would be me..." Speedwind spoke up, her voice hesitant and full of uncertainty. And it couldn't be clearer just of how shy of a femme she was she seemed to have a hard time looking either mech in the optic, "The names Speedwind."

Blip spun around when he heard Speedwind announce herself, finding himself having to look up at her.
"Ah excellent. And you're early. Very good. As you may have guessed, I'm Blip. This here is Roadtrain." Blip said, motioning to the much larger Renegade.
"Pay me no mind. I'm only here to observe. Chances are, when you get assigned to a team, you'll be reporting to either myself or Omnitron." Roadtrain replied.
Blip meanwhile was re-reading Speedwind's profile on his datapad and muttering to himself.
"Hmm, Soldier class. I prefer scouts to be a smaller size class, but Soldier is workable. Primus knows what that lug-net Deadbolt was thinking making himself bigger.... He then looked up at Speedwind. "Now then, I see you favour speed and agility. Those two skills will serve you well as a scout. Many think that in order to be a scout you just need to be stealthy. Not the case, you need to be able to get in an out quickly as well. Now, I'd like to begin this training session with a quick sparring match." He said as he waved to the training area. "I want to see how you attack, defend, counter-attack and evade. Even someone as small as myself can overcome a much larger opponent by being light on their feet and thinking quickly."
With that, Blip moved into the training area and got into a fighting stance. Roadtrain watched on, leaning back against his trailer.

"It's nice to meet you both." Speedwind said, giving a nod to both mechs as she worked to force her shyness back and not make a fool of herself for such a problem. But to say the least it wasn't the easiest thing in the world, especially around new Transformers she was meeting really for the first time. In her mind, this was going to be a long training session.
Still, she listened to what Blip had to say knowing for a scout she likely was rather tall in terms of her class but she had done well enough to be considered of being a scout at all during her cadet days. "Speed and agility, something I've always favored since I was online the first time. Almost feels ingrained I suppose." Speedwind stated, smiling behind her mask as she had always been proud of her use in speed, the reason she even had her current name but she knew better then to get cocky. Anyone could quickly beat her in those terms, which in this case Blip likely was no stranger to speed himself from the looks of things.
Moving to their training spot the young femme took her position, eyeing the smaller bot before her as she was quickly picking a way to start this fight. Blip was smaller in height and frame, making him an opponent she would have to watch in terms of being easily able to outclass her in movement and agility. In other words, she had to be on her guard. "Ladies first then," She spoke up as she moved quickly to cover the gap between them her first thought being to aim low, shifting down to bring her leg out in a sweeping kick, aiming to knock Blip off balance.

Blip saw Speedwind's attack and sprang backwards, leaning back in the air and landing on his hands, then pushing off and landing back on his feet.
"Good!" He called out. "Show me another attack."
He crouched slightly, studying Speedwind's movements in an attempt to predict her next move.

As Blip sprang backwards to avoid her kick Speedwind was already on her feet, seeing this mech would indeed be a challenge. But it seemed she had changed to becoming rather focused compared to being shy and uncertain in her movements, quickly moving again after Blip and aiming a few quick jabs this time with her fists, trying to gain some hit on the mech. But at the same time she would have to keep her own guard up when it came to a more veteran Renegade. Who knew what kind of tricks he had up his sleeve.

Blip fully expected the attack that Speedwind unleashed upon him. He easily dodged the jabs. Or at least he thought he did. The final jab caught him square in the chest and knocked him back a significant distance. The tiny Renegade landed on his back and used him momentum to roll back and up onto his feet. From behind him, he heard Roadtrain chuckle and then outright laugh.
"So much for 'nobody being able to touch you unless you want them to'." Roadtrain laughed.
Blip held up a hand, signalling Speedwind to pause for a moment.
"All part of my plan, Roadtrain. I was merely showing Speedwind here how to recover if you do get him." He said, hoping they bought his excuse.
"You're doing well, so far." He said to Speedwind. "But as a scout, your optics need to be sharp. Let's see how you fair against an opponent you can't see." He added as he activated his chameleon power and shimmered out of sight.
With that, Blip began to circle Speedwind before attempting to land a punch.

Speedwind actually ended up pausing for a moment, quite surprised she had even landed a hit on the smaller bot since she half expected to maybe only graze him at best but to actually land a strike...that was surprising. Though his excuse that it was all part of her plan made her roll her optics behind her tinted visor, "Right and I suddenly can flap my door wings to fly." She retorted, not buying the fact that she happened to be lucky to land a strike upon Blip, which normally attacking head on wasn't her style of fighting but this time around it had worked.
Still, she narrowed her optics, listening intently as Blip spoke and activated his chameleon power. "Right, chameleon power...I'd also say hearing would be another good thing to keep sharp." She told him, keeping her fighting stance as she tried to scan around the spot of their training area, trying to discover the slightest shift in the cloaking but she wasn't fast enough to feel a punch which no doubt was Blip. Feeling his strike though her immediate action as to counterattack, aiming a backwards kick towards where she had felt his blow in hopes to strike the bot again before shifting to move back slightly to prepare a new tactic against her now invisible opponent.

Blip had already moved after he punched Speedwind, so when her counter-attack came he was already out of the way and able to push her leg away.
"Good! Your vision and hearing are possibly your two greatest assets. Pay close attention to your surroundings. Even the best camo device doesn't render the user completely invisible. You should notice a slight distortion." He said as he circled around the new recruit.
Blip danced around Speedwind a couple of times before crouching low and attempting to sweep her legs out from under her.

"Indeed, being alert is key as a scout." Speedwind agreed, shifting a few times as she noticed once or twice the slightest change in Blip's chameleon power, or really the slightest distortion. That alone made her shift to keep the distance, her optics narrowing a few times as she was listening closely, keeping her entire senses at the ready, especially her audios and optics.
It was then she heard the slightest scuffle of movement, causing her to turn her head slightly and notice just the faintest change in the cloaking field of his chameleon power and causing her to quickly jump back, seeing his form seemed low, dodging his kick this time around before moved forward and brought her elbow down to try and strike the minibot of where she had seen him, praying inwardly her prediction was right.

Blip was impressed with the way Speedwind dodged his attack, so impressed that he almost caught her elbow with his head. He was just able to avoid the strike by dropping flat against the floor and rolling away.
"It takes a lot to impress me, but that did. You almost got me with that last move." He said, getting to his feet and deactivating his chameleon power.
Blip then ran forwards, he jumped and span in mid-air to deliver a spin kick.

Speedwind shifted back to her stance again when feeling her attack had missed, but turned towards where Blip's voice came from when he spoke. A smile formed behind her mask, knowing the two mechs couldn't see. "Habit of watching others seems to come in handy to paying attention to detail is all I guess Blip, nothing overly complicated." She said with a chuckle, having seeming to become more relaxed now as if the focus on the training had eased any nervousness she had previously. Now, she was focused and ready, knowing so far she had been doing decently but that didn't mean things would change quickly. Narrowing her optics she watched as Blip came towards her, raising her arm to take the blow with a soft grunt before aiming her free arm towards his form.

As Blip's leg connected with Speedwind's arm, he saw a shift in her stance as she brought her other arm up to punch him. He was able to block the punch by catching her fist in his hand. He quickly realised that move would have worked better if he was firmly on the ground, but since he was still in mid-air, the force of the blow pushed him away. He landed on his feet some distance back, sliding backwards to a halt. Blip continued his attack, charging forwards again. This time, he tossed a smoke grenade and when it went off, he activated his chameleon circuit again. Again, he circled around Speedwind before leaping and attempting another kick.

With Blip once again sent a few distance from her, Speedwind shifted to a more defensive stance, ready to take more blows when ready. But as she prepared for Blip's oncoming attack she was caught off guard by the sudden smoke screen created by the grenade making her glad she had her battle mask up but making her step back, trying to wave away the smoke and see clearly again. Though she soon felt a kick on her back, making her stumble forward in surprise before twisting to try and do a backwards kick towards Blip's direction, keeping in mind now to be far more careful with her visibility ever the more difficult to keep.

Blip narrowly avoided catching Speedwind's foot with his face. He had made a bit of a mistake with the smoke grenade. Now he was struggling to see as well. However, he still had the advantage as he was still cloaked, for the time being. He wasn't entirely sure on where Speedwind was in the middle of the smoke cloud.
"Well done Blip. You've just blinded yourself as well." Roadtrain called out.
Blip ignored him and continued to circle Speedwind, attempting to tap her as he moved, hoping to distract her and find an opening.
