What are some of your favorite scenes in films, they can be any films whatsoever.
I know Jazzman Crothers is, has - and always will be a big Harrison Ford fan, and whilst I appreciate his work I might not share the share that level of admiration, but can appreciate the talent. Of course - who couldn't! This clip is actually from my favorite Harrison Ford movie, and is actually in my top 10 films of all time. It is, Witness. An Armish boy and his mother have to go to the city, but whilst at the train station the boy witnesses a murder in the men's toilets. Harrison Ford brilliantly plays Book, John Book, the cop investigating and it's not a lovable rogue character like Han Solo or Indiana Jones and really does showcase For'd great acting ability. (My second favourite Ford film if I had to choose would be The Fugitive - also with Tommy Lee Jones. Anyway, when Book uncovers that the killer is closer to home and that there's a lot more internal danger, he has to lay low so takes the Armish boy and his mother back and lays low in Armish territory. (Where he clearly doesn't fit in.) The undercover corruption comes to him, whilst Book himself finds himself falling for the boy's mother.
So the clip is the identification clip. A gorgeous scene because no actual words are spoken, the slow moving feel, the music and using the boys big expressive eyes tells you everything when after seeing hundreds of profiles at the station he, finally sees the face that committed the murder. This is my favorite scene in the whole movie, which is worth watching if you've never seen it!
Would like to hear some of your favorite scenes in films.
