Within Autobbot headquarters, the holographic battle sim activates as the newest member of TTF walks in.
••• Welcome to the battle sim Ripraw. Here you get a first taste of the combat style practiced here at TTF. Its just for all parties involved to understand where the other is coming from and to introduce the combat style to new players. You may request a layout for your simulated conflict to take place in. The computer can create a holographic representation of what you instruct it to make. The computer will load up a pre-existing character for combat. The point of this sim is not to win or lose but for all parties involved to learn •••
RipRaw plays with the controls of the simulation computer, scrolling through the pre-existing battle fields. He pause as one catches his interest. "Post Great War city scape from Night of the Terrorcons? I haven't seen that holo in mega-cycles." Decided, RipRaw hit the confirm command and the ruins of Polyhex loads up in the battle sim. "Opponents opponents hmm..?" More scrolling. There were so many to choose from, and all would provide a good challenge to learn from. What the warrior needed was a volunteer from the audience.
After a little time a new challenger finally did step into the ring, or more so landed to be most specific. Her thrusters gave off a soft hum before they switched off, her feet making a few clicks upon her landing as her wings twitched slightly before rising high to show a readiness for battle. "You seek an opponent, then you have one." Wildspark's voice came out in a soft monotone, almost having an innocent sounding edge to it but all the same lacking much, if any, emotion in her voice. But if this mech was looking for a fight Wildspark didn't mind obliging to the challenge.
Ripraw noted with some satisfaction the arrival of the femme flier. He did much prefer a living opponent to these A.I. ones the battle sim provided. His head dropped in respect to Wildspark. RipRaw gave respect to all his opponents but this one seemed like she might be a real challenge, and such a challenge was to be relished. “Let us begin.” He grinned. Turning to face the computer, he quickly tapped in the commands.
Within a dozen spark beats, he found himself falling from height towards Polyhex. A Polyhex in some post apocalyptic future where a great war had been fought.
The unorthodox fighter noted the layout of the buildings and skyscrapers, quickly calculating tactics even as he transformed mid plummet. RipRaw slowed his descent, but only halted it once he was below building height. His alt-mode was slow for a flier and he was vulnerable to certain tactics, by flying close to the ruined buildings, he hoped to minimise his weakness against the other flier.
RipRaw guessed that Wildspark would have a huge advantage in speed and range of weapon fire. It was entirely possible she could win before he even knew where she was. He maneuvered closer to the desolate building, even into the ruin on occasion; he was hoping to catch his opponent by surprise. Melee was too much to hope for where the advantage was undoubtedly his.
Wildspark gave a slight bow of her head in return, waiting as the mech prepared the simulation as she observed his unusual form but could at least make out he too was a flier. Somehow she could see this would likely be a battle for sky superiority, least for the most part as she much preferred to attack from the air anyway, even when in robot mode. Flight gave a rather helpful advantage sometimes but this might purely end up based on tactics and aerial skill as she thought about it.
Moments later she felt the ground beneath her disappear, causing Wildspark to look down as they plummeted before she transformed mid-flight and kicked on her thrusters to fly off in the opposite direction of Ripraw, but her form was indeed much faster it seemed, weaving her way swiftly around the ruined buildings of what was once Polyhex but now it was a barren wasteland of nothing but those two. Weaving around another building she caught a brief glimpse of Ripraw which she reacted by changing her direction and beginning to fire her Neutron Repeaters towards him, some of the bullets striking the structure he occasionally disappeared into.
The projectile impacts sprayed dust and debris down RipRaw’s flank. He even felt one bullet scrape the dorsal surface of his right wing. First hit to Wildspark. He was grinning to himself, win or lose, but preferably win, the heat of battle pulsed in his fluid lines. Knowing there was no risks of collateral damage just it harder for RipRaw to not just simply turn around and let his X-24 tear everything to shreds. But that was not the best tactic.
RipRaw veered deeper into the ruined building’s structure seeking cover. He briefly calculated Wildspark’s position but knew by the time he returned fire, she would have moved. She had his position, he needed to get hers. As RipRaw very quickly flitted through the wreck of the structure, he saw the open elevator shaft and thus his opening. He ascended the six flights left to the roof and exited on to the roof proper through doors barely hanging on to their hinges. The flier transformed and crept over to the edge of the building looking and listening for any sign of the femme jet.

RipRaw could the sound of a jet coming towards him, but it sounded louder then only a single plane. Over his head, about 50 feet above him, flew three Seeker class Decepticons. The sonic boom was deafening as the Seekers made there presence known to all. If one was to refer to Autobot records on known criminal Technoists, the markings and colours on the Seekers would indicate that they were Thundercracker, Skywarp and Thrust. (Profile here)
The trio of jets began to come around in attack formation directed in the general direction of RipRaw and Wildspark.
(The two of you have the opposition of teaming up or not as the Seekers are gunning for both of you. Enjoy and have a nice day!)
Wildspark lost sight of Ripraw making her veer away from the building an pulling upwards in altitude, wondering if had slipped through a way she could not see or moved to where he could fire on the Seeker femme. That was the more dangerous part in a place like this, her fellow flier could be anywhere and she didn't know his skill with long distance as opposed to her own. She wasn't a bad shot per se, but she much preferred close range combat then anything so she hoped if she could find Riprae she might be able to maneuver him into giving her a chance they could go toe-to-toe in their combat prowess. Though just as she was about unknowingly approaching his position that was quickly changed as the sonic boom of three new fliers approached making her suddenly slow enough to catch a glimpse of these seekers.
They were three well known criminals, ones she did not care to take on alone but she was already within distance to chance running away or finding a better vantage point. Did Ripraw have a visual on them as she did? She hoped so because she doubted she could take on all three seekers, basically a tribe of them that were likely well suited to cover different forms of combat and support the other's wing. "Might as well get a few shots in." She muttered as she blasted forward again as she began firing upon the three from her point before getting to where she felt I t was too close for comfort and trying to dive down before she got too close.
RipRaw grinned with battle hunger as he watched the three seekers skim overhead at trans-sonic speed and let the shockwave roll over him. He hadn’t spotted them until they were passing, and he certainly did not hear them any sooner due to their velocity. He did however get a very good look as they passed, and since battle was his forte, he recognised three of the most notorious fliers in Cybertron history.
“So that’s what the random encounter threw up.” He mused to himself.
No slouch was he. RipRaw waited just long enough to see which direction they were turning before he sprinted under extra boost from his rocket pack from the roof top. He dived over the edge and somersaulted through his transformation in to his own aerial form. Under the full acceleration his powerful frame could exert, he sought to cut off the three uglies at the pass. Now this could be one vs. one vs. three, or two vs. three, or RipRaw decided, effectively one vs. four. He had not forgotten his real opponent, but he was very happy to let the chaos of war bring her out to play.
Thrust, Thundercracker and Skywarp made their return pass, and at the same time, RipRaw blasted upwards from under them at the full burn of his rockets. The barrels of his X-24 spun their fury and spat their rage at the trailing seeker.

All three seekers fired off two homing missiles each, three aimed at Whipspark and the other three at RipRaw, before breaking off and taking evasive maneuvers. Thrust broke off and dived between the buildings, continuing to fly by the buildings in hover mode. Thundercracker did the same but in a different direction. Skywarp flew on ahead picking up speed until a bright light engulfed his body and he disappeared.
“Frag, Frag, FRAG SCRAP YEEHAH!!” RipRaw hated missiles, the stupid homing bastards, but by Unicron’s skidplate, he was having fun none the less. His skywards dash continued unabated as his scrapmaker swivelled to follow the three treacherous rockets seeking his demise. Each of the six rotating barrels spat projectiles in turn, a fusillade of supersonic bullets. RipRaw traced his line of fire through the oncoming missiles hoping to explode them before they exploded him.

With a hail of bullets RipRaw took out one missile, and then another, causing each to explode in the air, casting shrapnel and flames through the air. The third missile was hard to see until the closeness of it's presence made it too hard to miss with the eye. As RipRaw continued his assault, the missile got closer until when it was about 30 feet away, RipRaw scored a hit. The missile exploded close enough for the Autobot to feel the heat and the small bits of broken metal hit his steel skin.
Then RipRaw radar warned him of an incoming contact, as if it had just appear out of thin air. It was Skywarp, from up above, swooping down at RipRaw with his own machine guns blazing at the Autobot.
The aerial warrior weathered the shock blast and the storm of shrapnel. He was tough but he was still taking punishment. RipRaw was thankful that he had studied former warriors. Thus his surprise was only slight when Skywarp appeared dead ahead. It gave him more time to react, and right now, every nano-cycle counted.
With the briefest and sharpest of control inputs, RipRaw angled himself so that he would pass Skywarp’s underside. Instantly after that course change, RipRaw engaged his t-cog hard. With every watt of power, he pushed his chassis to transform as fast as possible, every component pushed to its stress maximum. RipRaw didn’t need to swing his twin battle axes, he just needed to get them into position fast enough and grasp their hilts for all his worth. It was not so much a risky manoeuvre, just merely incredibly difficult in the circumstances. The idea was to cleave Sywarp’s wings clean off and leave the seeker falling hard and fast to the ground.
He also needed to survive the storm of bullets driving into his frame, just so he could take out three more targets. Chances of success were dwindling with his armor.

And with the change in RipRaw's speed, Skywarp caught up to him all too fast. Skywarp lost sight of his target and before it registered, he flew past him. Then the searing pain of lost a piece of his wing jolted Skywarp's mind to refocus, but spinning out of control didn't allow that. So like RipRaw, Skywarp transformed and again with a flash of light, disappeared -
- only to again appear above RipRaw this time in robot mode. Armed with his Neutron Assault Rifle, Skywarp began to open fire at RipRaw as the two fell towards the ground. "Let's see you try that again punk!"
