Forged in 2008, one year after the first Transformers movie, our small little website for the message board. After six years of the message board running - at the time soon to be seven in 2008, we launched as a small independent site. So what does that mean?Well although the BIG main community fan-sites had GREAT websites, a lot of them fell short on the community aspect with constant rule-breaking, spam trolling, flaming other members and in general they weren't very nice communities to go to. Now I'm sure many of them have changed over the years and tightened up their rules and staff, at least I would hope, but one of the reason for this Message Board was a place total to other fans without all the nastiness on other forums belong to big community fan-sites. Our objective was simple to act as a small splash site for the message board. The goal was never to be a big massive well-known fan site, God knows by 2008 there were already a dozen good ones around and that had been around for many years. So we never wanted to be one of those big corporate sites, and although at times asperations have turned that way, we still maintain a small independence. As it was at the beginning: So to celebrate 7 years, I thought - why not have a FAQ about totaltfs.com and Total Transformers! Submit your questions here about the website or message board and I will answer truthfully and honestly and tell you everything you need to know about TTF!

I just started looking around the actual website and the history of the Renegades. Hmm, questions eh?
In the seven years, what was the biggest change to the website or forum board that you can remember?

I think the biggest change in the website is how it's structured mainly. It should be remembered it was made a year after the first live action movie and so was very orientated in looks that way, but more than that however. Back in the day before I used the site's web editor I actually tried to write the whole site in html myself, something I wasn't knowledgeable of and still am not to this day, I still look up how to do things. These days it all uses templates and I just use pre-customized stuff, no html writing. Unfortunately, if you go to something like the Internet Archive/Wayback machine almost every image is missing from back then so I can't show you what it used to be like but the splash page had a very movie look: I do remember that a member here from another site had made a video I was impressed with alot so I used that as an opener to the site, and at the end it would automatically re-direct to our websites index page. I think I might still have that video somewhere. I go to a TF message board where so he frequents so I'll have to go and thank him today!
