"Cesium salami!"
"You full of Beryllium baloney!"
Something to keep bookmarked along with "TF units of time".

Oil cake...out of all those since I've seen the page before I can't get oil cake out of my imagination...I mean, I keep thinking of metal somehow shaped like a cake with oil over it, energon cubes in circles or different shapes and sizes with oil over it like frosting, or hardened oil with liquified oil drizzled over it.
And how is energon wine different from regular energon???

It must be made of higher octane-like stuff that somehow causes intoxication in Transformers. Thats all I can think of at the moment.
But what's your opinion on the subject gang? Should TFs eat and drink? Energon or anything for that matter?
I know in my RPGs they drink energon and I've happily had my character drink energon in other RPGs. I don't think I've ever had my characters eat energon or anything for that matter.
And we have seen TFs eat in one media or another, be it energon or something else, even another Transformer.

Honestly, I thought they ate and drank energon period, among other materials like oil. So, I'm for them doing both since we've seen it all the time far as I know. Never read any Transformers comics but seen in other media.

The first time I've seen TFs drink energon would be season 2 of the original series. And they got drunk off it. Then we see some Alligatorcons eat energon goodies in the 1986 movie and then I think season 3 has scenes of eating and drinking energon.
In season 1 of the original series, we see Megatron take two Anti-Matter Energon cubes and press them against his chest and absorb them, thus powering up.
I suppose when we see Telatraan One repair the Transformers on the Ark that the computer also powered them up with a energy ray. But considering that we see T1 actually repairing Skywarp within the energy ray and then just blasting Megatron with the energy ray for a second or so, I don't think we can be 100% sure what the ray was doing. Might be safer to assume that the animators thought showing Skywarp's repairs would be enough to convey that T1 was repairing and energizing Transformers with it.
I don't recall anytime in the G1 series where TFs ate energon at a dinner like setting. Though in season 3 Sandstorm and Octane visit an intergalactic diner. And Grimlock did wear a servers tie and carried a dinner plate and cover.
The only other series I've watched all the way through is TF Prime and Beast Wars. And I don't recall anyone eating energon. I think I remember some TFs eating actually fruit or something in BW, it was years ago when I watched it.

I think Rhinox and Rattrap both ate fruit in BW, Terrorsaur ate a bird and Tarantulus mentioned eating animals.
In TF: Animated, there were a few characters shown drinking oil as well.

I think I remember reading somewhere in the Headmasters cartoon apparently Wheelie was eating energon and I kinda assumed if the Beast Warriors could eat organic stuff you'd think energon would count too. But, mostly just a thought on my part I guess. I've seen just about all of the original series except for a few episodes in Season 2 and never saw the movie. I have been trying to see if I could buy it but...so freaking expensive!
Like I said, my assumption was they likely could eat it just based on some things I've seen or read somewhere. Though, whether or not that's true is beyond me.

Yeah I just read some of the info in the link I posted and they did eat organic things. I guess you can say they were doing so for their organic parts. I was also looking into what other things TFs eat and that would be metal. Be it say a piece of steel or another TF. We've seen that before with the Insecticons and other animal-like characters but I never gave it any thought really. On Skullcruncher's original profile it says he eats other TFs but questioned if he digested them. In his revised Dreamwave profile he says he eats and digests them. So I began to wonder how an why. Then I found this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fuel#Metal_fuelIt describes how metal can be used as fuel. EDIT: Just remembered that in the original Marvel comic that Megatron tried to eat coal but couldn't process it.

So eating things like fruit would turn them into a liquid state that refined into an Energon/oil like substance once it's broken down inside.

But what's your opinion on the subject gang? Should TFs eat and drink? Energon or anything for that matter? I really liked the idea that the Transformers had several varieties of energon and even other "liquid" sources for energy - kinda like a liquid sugar - instead of just same old energon. In TFA they seemed to use energon more for powering ships/devices then just pure drinking. On a more personal, individual thought, I figured that the Cybertrons would ingested metal rich solids as well. It would make sense, given that Cybertron is a metallic driven planet, they would have all sorts of varieties to pull from. Link isn't working for me.

Its true that lots of Transformers have eaten metal for various reasons. I had even found that some metals can be turned into energy in real life.
And it seems that link is dead now, sorry.
