Conjunx Endura is the latest form of Transformer romance. It appears in the IDW comic series. It came about as its creator and writer James Roberts stated that he doesn't see TF romance the same as human romance.
Taken from the TF wiki....
"A Conjunx Endura is a Transformer's significant other, an individual that they deeply love. In human terms, Conjuges Endurae are the equivalent of spouses; for example, when the life of a Transformer is threatened to the point of unconsciousness, it falls upon their Conjunx Endura to make medical decisions on their behalf....Some Transformers think close relationships like these are embarrassing. Bluntly asking a stranger about their Conjunx is considered a bit gauche."
Currently Rewind and Chromedome are in a relationship in the comic series (and on their Facebook pages, respectively.)
So whats your take on the Conjunx Endura?

I think it is a creative solution to the transformers relationship conundrum. I think it is handled very well in the MTMTE comics. I think there are a few other relationship types listed in the comics, but I can't remember them.

I think it describes Deadbolt and D-Fib quite well. Might have to find some way of working it into their profiles. Funny how those two have grown, hadn't even thought up D-Fib when I first created Deadbolt, then I just sandwiched him into her history to give her a reason for being a Renagade, then I started developing their relationship.
Conjunx Endura certainly has a better sound to it than Spark-Mate, I reckon.

I'm cool with it. After all who can really argue against how alien robot who aren't really male or female in the human or organic sense love each other?
