Sparks Of Darkness
The Renegades and the Autobots are on the verge of defeat. There forces have been more then matched at the hands of the Destructicons, energized by Rainstorm to process a immense amount of power. Now they are on a quest to push aside all who stand in there way. Be it the Autobots, the Renegades, or Arvadatron himself. The Autobots are quick to react and begin to rebuild there forces, as they now have the power of the Matrix, given up by its former Guardian Max Convoy. However, as they are able to use it to create new troops, Vector Primus is unable to explain the strange and never seem before activity the Matrix begins to give off. The Renegades, hurt the worse, barely hold it together as their team is either some where on the other side of the galaxy or the latest victim of war. All this, and a brand new menace, a large group that call themselves the Order, that has the power to wipe out all three sides, and throw Cybertron into Chaos. One year has passes since the fall of the Renegades, the Autobots and the Destructicons at the hands of Thunderwing. Since then he was taken over Cybertron and began work on a super soldier as well as a massive fleet, bent on conquering the universe. All this made possible by the power of the Autobot Matrix and the Dark Decepticon Matrix of Evil. However, even though Thunderwing processes the ability to use the two Matrix's, he is in danger of losing control of them and falling victim to their will. This has not deterred his vision of total conquest. Instead he seeks the next most powerful source of Matrix energy known to Cybertron; Vector Sigma. Like Megatron millions of years before him, he plans on turning the planet into a war world under his command. Cybertron is now a waste land, full of refugees fending for themselves against decepticons, the walking dead and try to find energy to keep living. Many of the population have been turned into slaves for Thunderwing's doing, leaving them wanting for a new group of champions to save their world. Cybertron is saved from the evil clutches of Thunderwing and his Mayhem Attack Squad by Omega Magnus and the Wreckers. Now its a time for the great planet to rebuild its self and its bring law and order to its inhabitants. While they rebuild, Cybertron finds its self in turmoil as new city state officials come forth to build a new Autobot council, all with different demands and interests for their people. However, ad-mist all the political upheavel, a mysterious menace plots behind the chao to bring back the Decepticons to be more powerful the they ever have been before, and to gain revenge on the unsung heroes of Cybertron; the Renegades.
End Times
Over time, Cybertron stands on the verge of yet another civil war and political turmoil. Even with Scarrunner defeated, his actions have placed a lasting mark on the world of the Transformers, causing old factions to once again wage war on each other, as well as causing conflict within themselves. The Autobots rush to prepare for a possible out break of war while dealing with political pressures of every city state on the planet. The Decepticons battle with their own over who shall be the keeper of power in Polyhex. The Renegades have suffered great losses of their own. Many of their members have either met their ends, are still lost or had to leave their comrades side. But the worse of all, is that Latyrx7 is now a prisoner of the Autobots, admitting to his hand in the murder of Scarrunner, taking sole responsibility so his fellow Renegades wouldn't have to take the blame. In the mist of all the confusion, a old aged enemy of both the Autobots and Decepticons has come to play his hand in the final destruction of Cybertron.
The Omega Kingdom
Eons passed on Cybertron as the war fizzeled out to skirmishes, and a new are of Cybertron history had begun. Many of the Renegades had left Cybertron, HeavyAssault, Sharpshot, even Aqualec and Jinx. After being tortured for many eons by Decepticons Nightshade eventually escaped and went on a adventure across the galaxy with his Autobot Brother Ironfist, but some Renegades still remained. Thus the legacy of the Renegades descended into the realms of myth and history data-files. There hadn't been a war now in over 10 million years and the landscape of Cybertron had changed drastically. Optanica Prime (Bearing the Matrix of leadership) now led the Autobots with the new Capital of Cybertron - Jekka City. (Iacon is no longer the capital of due to the number of attacks it has suffered over the years, the city has been reverted to a place where Cybertronian culture and history is preserved and where many off world visitors can come and learn about what Cybertron can now offer the galaxy.) It was only a matter of time to a whole new beginning however. As long as evil exists in the universe, war is truly never over. Now stationed in Unicron's Head, their new HQ both Latryx7 and Hoist remained with the latter working in a different role as weapons manufacturer, designing and supplying new weapons as new tensions on Cybertron rose. With many Renegdes off planet, no longer living or their whereabouts unknown, a new generation of recruits were tested with a series of gruelling missions under ASO* operations chief Omnitron to become the next generation of Renegade soldiers. The new team suffered their losses however in the mission and learnt what it truly meant to fight as a Renegade.
In the city of Vos, an Autobot spy named Crosscut is caught breaking in to the Tarakron building while stealing files. He is chased down and killed by 4 robots; Stinger, Pointblank and his Targetmaster partner Blastmaster and Neuroblade. But even though Crosscut dies he manages to throw the file into the Vos river, hoping it will be discovered.

The Autobots are celebrating the graduation of their trainees. Present at the celebration are the newly formed Renegades. There Incedious, Hardstrike, Computic and Incognito meet up with other Renegades Roadtrain, Driveby, Onix 'Prime', Hypershot, Deadbolt, Tomboy and Metalingus. Also present is Incedious' 'brother' Phamatis, who almost starts a fight with some of the Renegades before they are all taken to the Renegade secret base. The Renegades board ships and are taken to Unicron's head. The head of the Choas Bringer, Cybertron's second moon, has orbited the planet without incident and is suppose to be off limits. There the Renegades soon that the moon sized head is actually a military base for the newly developed Renegade army. While Phamatis is taken to a cell, the Renegades meet up with Latyrx7, the legendary Renegade commander who had disappeared other 10 million years ago. Latyrx7 explains to the Renegades that the Autobot council doesn't believe the Renegades should exist again and that when they operate they need to be as stealthy as possible.
Latyrx7 then informs the Renegades that he has a mission for them as the files that Crosscut liberated were discovered. Latyrx7 breaks the team into two. One team is to capture Stinger in Boltaramar city to interrogate him, the other team is to keep an eye on a Cybertronian known as Atlas. It is explained to the Renegades that Atlas heads a copulation named the Atlas Agency inside the Omega City, a newly built mega city. Before the Renegades head out they pay a visit to Hoist in H-Lab aka Hoist's workshop to arm up.
Roadtrain, Incedius, Tomboy, Driveby and Onix 'Prime' head to Boltarmar while Hardstrike, Incognito, Metalingus, Hypershot and Deadbolt go to Skytoucher Palace, a spot that Atlas often frequents. They head to a black market that sells illegal arms. There they find Stinger who is accompanied in a group of other mercenaries like him who all work for Atlas. The Renegades make there move but Stinger manages to escape. While pursuing him the Renegades chase Stinger in to a construction site where Stinger makes his way to escape up a half constructed building in a desperate attempt to get away. During the shakedown the Renegades are joined by D-Fib, a field medic, and Funcrusher and D-Stroy, Renegade air warriors. The three Renegades were sent in as back-up and to attend to any injured members of the team. While the Renegades make there way to catch him and bring him down. Incendius used a low flying construction ship with Tomboy and D-Fib on board to cut off Stinger's escape. However Incendius suffered a metal break down and lost control of the ship, allowing it to slammed into the side of the building, almost bringing it down. This caused Roadtrain to fall with Stinger half way down the building and placed the Renegade in a position where Stinger had the upper hand on him. With a gun held to his head by Stinger, Roadtrain ordered Onix to blow up the foundation of the building to bring it down. Onix did so, killing Stinger, who they were suppose to bring in alive. So after failing the mission, Omnitron, the Renegade field marshall, beamed down via space bridge and took Stinger's head back to Unicron's head in hopes of getting information out of him. Soon Incendius woke up from his metal episode and all the Renegade returned to base via space bridge. A team of Autobots were sent to clean up the mess in the construction site and the black market with a special Renegade agent with them who went by the code name 'Eraser'. Unknown at the time, Eraser used his power to erase and reconstruct the memories of all who witnessed the events that had just taken place.
Hardstrike, Incognito, Metalingus, Hypershot and Deadbolt go to Skytoucher Palace, located a few miles south-east of Hydrax Plateau , surrounded by the Crystal Sea (Former of the Sea of Rust). The group of Renegade were under cover as rich business types on vacation. While blending in and observing the area, Hardstrike spotted a large transport bearing the Omega City symbol on it. The Renegade made a metal note of it, thinking that it would come in handy later on. Soon afterwards the Renegades ran in to Atlas and his body guards, Pointblank, Blastmaster and Neuroblade. In the casino they engaged in a high stakes card game where the Renegades sold their cover to gain Atlas' trust. Incognito and Hardstrike left the game before it started and began to follow Neuroblade about the palace. Soon Ingonito and Hardstrike found Atlas' transport carrier that he came in on. After talking to Omnitron they convinced their commander to allow them to board the transport to see if they could gather more intel on what he was up too. Before the two Renegades could get off the transport Neuroblade got on, forcing Hardstrike and Incognito to hide inside the vehicle. Soon it was heard that Neuroblade was communicating with Stinger as the other Renegade team was chasing him (Chapter 2a) Neuroblade contacted Atlas about the situation, forcing Atlas to cut his game short with the undercover Renegades, but not before offering to do business with them. Soon Atlas and his crew boarded the transport, unaware that Hardstrike and Incognito were on board hiding, and started back for the Omega City.
Hoist and Latyrx7 decided to pay Phasmatis a visit in his cell to get to the bottom of his relationship with Incendius. Incendius had always suffered metal problems but was kept on the team due to his brilliance as a strategist. Phasmatis had found him on Cybertron in the Autobot headquarters and made him stable (This occurred in-between the RPGs 'Regeneration' and 'The Omega Kingdom. For more info on that see Phasmatis' tech spec). All Latyrx7 and Hoist learn was that Phasmatis accused Incendius as being a terrorist and that he belonged to a large group of people that Phasmatis wouldn't identify. Latyrx7 and Hoist saw they weren't getting anywhere with Phasmatis and left him in his cell, until Phasmatis activated a control panel on his wrist. Phasmatis' actioned caused Incendius to lose control of his actions and have a metal break down. Discovering his action Hoist and Latyrx7 stopped Phasmatis and had him brought to the interrogation room.
Both teams were now back on Unicron's head, with the exception of Hardstrike and Ingognito. During the debriefing it was learned that nothing was discovered in Stinger's brain as his mind was fired when he was killed. Latyrx7 and Hoist became involved with the meeting due to Incendius' metal episode. Incendius revealed that Phasmatis has control over him and that they are apart of a group of Cybertronians calling themselves the Order of Elements. The order are an old group of Cybertronains who are linked together mentally like a hive. Incendius is one of many Incendius' brought online to act as a slave while Phasmatis played the role of assassin. However Incendius was able to break free from the hive and exist like a normal Cybertronain. Now knowing the truth, many of the Renegades didn't trust Incendius. The cold-fuelled Onix 'Prime' and Driveby wanted him off the team while Incendius' closest friend Computic now seemed to fear him. Incendius felt depressed by this as it felt he had no friends within the Renegade ranks, his new family. Despite that fact that it looked like Incendius was about to about to be kicked off the team, it was soon explained that Phasmatis control over him was rendered useless. The mysterious robot known as Eraser had Phasmatis in his control using the training simulator known as the the Tronbayoshi Maru test ( Tronbayoshi Maru is a powerful training sim that makes the trainee believe they are actually experiencing the events taking place. What is actually happening is complete and utter mind control. Tronbayoshi Maru = The Matrix). Incendius would remain on the team while the next high ranking officer, Roadtrain, would take over.
As the next step of the investigation was being organized, two more Renegades joined the mission; Quickshot and Uplink. Two scientists who had been recruited by the Renegades. Soon the Renegades made plans on how to deal with the forces of the Omega City. The team would break into 3 groups while the science team would greet Atlas using their cover and to find Hardstrike and Incognito. The purpose of the 3 groups of Renegades was to soften up Atlas' forces and cause distraction throughout the city. Then once the police force of the Omega City was spread across the map, and once Atlas revealed his true plans thus providing evidence, the Renegades could move in and arrest him. The Renegades then left Unicron's head for Cybertron via spaceship instead of using the space bridge, due to the static storm that filled he air over head. (There always seemed to be a unusually amount of static storms happening in that area.)
The Renegade science team of Uplink, Deadbolt, Quickshot, Metalingus and Computic arrive at the Omega City and meet with Atlas fully in cover. Meanwhile, Hardstrike and incognito are finally free from the carrier that brought them into the Omega City and in to Atlas' headquarters undetected. The two Renegades were sneaking around and hacking terminal systems until they learned that some members of their team were in fact here in Atlas' headquarters as well. However things were being made difficult while Hardstrike had the thoughts of a close friend on his mind, Cryptica. On top of that Hardstrike's issue with killing a ship full of innocent Autobots during the simulator test came to a boiling point. He started to give in to his inner turmoil and took it out on Incognito, who in return informed him that too much was riding on his actions for him to allow his problems to get the best of him.
While the undercover science team continued to infiltrate Atlas' internal circle, they began to learn of his plan of total control of Cybertron and how he would do it, as the team began to find the massive spare parts of Guardian robots being worked on in the factories. But before they could act on that theory, the team found themselves in the clutches of a huge Guardian claw. Trapped, Atlas informed the science team that they were to stay in Omega City forever to work for him building the Guardian robots that Atlas planned to use to take over Cybertron. To their relief the science team cover was not blown and as it turned out Atlas thought he had really captured a group of investors and scientists. After some boasting and bragging from Atlas, a report came to him that Stinger's head had been found. The science team took this opportunity to escape by using a EMP grenade. The grenade made the giant claw release the Renegades but it slowed them down as well as Atlas and his troops. The Renegade science team were now in a fire fight as they tried to make their way back the same way that had came in.
After an intense fire fight, the Renegade science team reunited with Hardstrike and Incognito in a large factory. And then soon they were confronted by a towering Guardian robot. The science team then engaged the Guardian robot only to be confronted by another, towering mechanic. This one was the updated version of the Guardian robot that Atlas had been working on. Heavy armour, the size of a gestalt, packing much firepower and with regular but powerful hands. The Renegade science team realized that could not fight the massive robot on the factory, so they used the robot's own weight against. They cause the robot to trip and fall on to a group of OCF's lead by Neuroblade, allowing them to open the main security door, escape the tower to the outside.
Roadtrain, Incendius, Driveby, Onix 'Prime', Hypershot, Tomboy and D-Fib entered the Omega City as the Renegade Assault Team through the underground tunnels of Cybertron, From there they began to station themselves in different safehouses to begin their mission of sabotage. As they did they began to notice the poor state the citizens of Omega City were in. They figured that Atlas was using the people of the Omega City as slaves. To also confirm this OFC officers were arriving on the scene to pick up workers and abused them right away as they arrived. During the round up of slaves, Hypershot managed to pull a young citizen off to the side before he received anymore abuse. The slave's name was Xjar and he began to inform Hypershot of what truly goes on within Omega City, such as the torture of slaves and the murder of those who resisted, at the hands of Atlas and the OFC. He also told Hypershot that the static storms made communication next to impossible. Also, the static storms hadn't begun until Atlas' command tower had been built. In fact the young slave and others like him believe that the static storms were an act of Primus strike out at Atlas due to lighting often hitting the tower.
As the Renegade Assault Team were on the look out for the enemy, Driveby had the best view for sniping. While in position he noticed a statue of a Guardian robot, the exact kind of robot that Omega Supreme was. Driveby contacted the rest of the group and informed him of his suspicions that Atlas may be assembling Omega Guardians for his army. It was Roadtrain who realized that Omega City was built over the ruins of Crystal City, the place that Omega Supreme used to defend. After coming to this conclusion the Renegades began to fear the worst. It was then the Assault Team began to make area's of the city have black outs. And then Roadtrain made his move and placed Stinger's head on a statue of Atlas, in order to throw Omega City's leader off his game and to make him think that it was a rival gang attempting to attack the city. Soon the Renegades were seeing riots break out between slaves and the OFC.
Onix 'Prime' and D-Fib entered a tunnel to make their way though the city unseen. Inside the tunnel they were hearing strange sounds that they then realized were coming from a power source of some kind. They tracked it down but hit a dead end. The wall was too thick to break down. Onix wanted to destroy a pair of pipes that ran into the wall but D-Fib protested that the energy running through those pipes would destroy them and have extreme consequences. Soon an alert was heard through the tunnels causing Onix and D-Fib to break off their investigation and return to the surface to help the others.
Soon Stinger's head was discovered by Pointblank and placed the area on red alert. He almost discovered Roadtrain and Hypershot hiding in a garage and opened fire on there location, but instead hit Xjar. Before Point Blank could do anything else, an explosion off in the distance was heard and a dog fight between OCF aerial fighter was witnessed going on above between two unknown ships. The ships turned out to be Renegades Funcrusher and D-Stroy. The two Renegades had a message for Roadtrain, which they couldn't get to him via radio waves due to the static storm. The message was that the OCF were not ex-Autobots but ex-bounty hunters, criminals and military types from other words. The Renegades were free to kill at will when confronted by OCF. Soon it was the Renegade Assault Team verse the OCF with Renegade reinforcements entering the city to help even up the odds. Point Blank got involved as well but quickly found himself without his targetmaster Blastmaster, who had been shot off his body by Driveby. Point Blank disregarded the damaged Targetmaster as if he was nothing but a simple gun. Point Blank would soon regret this as he then faced Roadtrain, which the much bigger robot served him the biggest beat down he had received in his functioning life. Blastmaster then came upon Roadtrain beating down his partner and approached, transforming and landing in Point Blank's hand. But the Targetmaster didn't fire. Instead he turned around and shot Point Blank for throwing him away. With the fight with the Point Blank over, the Renegade Assault Team took time to regroup and thought about how to find the other Renegade team that had went to engage Atlas in the tower. Blastmaster then gave up the goods and told him everything he knew. Atlas as indeed building Guardian robots, who he called the Omega Guard. The tower was in fact constructed to hide Atlas' actives from satellite detection as it actually created the static storms. Blastmaster then accompanied the Renegades as they made there way towards the tower to engage Atlas.
Roadtrain's team began to get closer to the tower and anticipated heavy resistance. Soon each team were able to communicate with each other as the science team open the factory doors. Now there wasn't any interference blocking transmissions. Separating the two Renegade teams was the defense wall guarding the tower. On the wall were OCFs manning heavy powered machine guns, not allowing anyone to get too close. The science team on the inside of the wall were fighting the forces from within but getting no where. And then Atlas lead more Guardian robots outside. A hidden Incognito noticed that Atlas wasn't giving them verbal commands but directing the Omega Guardians with his hands. Incognito believed that Atlas was linked to the Omega Guard some how.
Onix 'Prime' then managed to set a explosive device on the wall and created a opening for the Renegades to enter. And just in time too as the Renegade science team were being chased by Omega Guards. A plan was set in motion to take out Atlas. Incognito snuck up behind Atlas and managed to knock him down using his explosives but he was injured in the process and didn't knock Atlas out. Atlas recovered and took Incognito hostage in his weakness state. The Renegades then tried to take down Atlas but under estimated his power. And then as a final surprise, Atlas revealed his greatest scheme. The tunnels that Onix and D-Fib had found were in fact about of a massive engine system. They were activated along with intergalactic rockets and caused the entire city to rise into the air. Atlas claimed it was to be his battle station that would rule over Cybertron.
Soon Atlas began to make his move on the Renegades to wipe them out once and for all. However it was Hardstrike who thought of using a explosive on the back of a Omega Guard's leg to bring down the massive robot on top of Atlas. It worked and it even cause the army of Omega Guards to stop moving, proving the theory correct that Atlas controlled them via remote control. But Atlas survived even after the Omega Guard had fallen on him due to a super powered over shield that was equipped to his body. As Atlas began to get back up so did the Omega Guards. But a well placed EMP blast placed Atlas in statis.
Back at Unicron's head, Latyrx7 was watching over the events from his command center. He was then informed that Eraser hadn't broken through to Phasmatis' mind. Latyrx7 then ordered that the prisoner be taken back to his cell. But before that could happen Phasmatis woke up. The prisoners began to fight with the guards and soon he escaped Eraser's lab. The prisoner was too tricky to recapture again and soon he had disappeared, escaping from Unicron's head. The Renegades had Atlas and Point Blank in Atlas' tower, ready to interrogate them. However it seem that Atlas was giving up the information too easily and soon the existence of a secret, military operation known as the Union existed. This didn't make Point Blank happy and even mentioned that despite the fact that they didn't belong to the Union, Atlas was acting out on his own with his endeavors in Omega City.
At that point, the Renegades were ambushed. Neuroblade had survived the battle and now had Tomboy hostage. With all eyes on Neuroblade, no one saw Blastmaster sneak up to Atlas, who took the Targetmaster in a hand that had been freed a few minutes before and start shooting. Neuronlade used the distraction to his advantage and laid down some smoke bombs in order to disappear. Soon Neuroblade was attacking Renegades within the smokey room and even Tomboy had suffered a serious injury. During the fight Point Blank informed Neuroblade that Atlas had given up information on the existence of the Union. Neuroblade managed to get a hold of Atlas while the Renegades were put off their game, and actually killed him for betraying the fact that the Union existed. In a despite attempt to escape, Neuroblade then took Incendius hostage. Then to everyone's surprise, Phasmatis smashed into the room through the window. He fought with Neuroblade briefly and only to take Incendius back. Neuroblade was then pulled by Neuroblade towards Driveby who was armed with a sword. Despite the protests, Driveby killed Neuroblade, even though he was the last possible chance on getting any information on the Union. While Neuroblade died Phasmatis made good on his escape with a shuttle he had stolen from Renegade headquarters, with Incendius on board.
Point Blank was the only survivor out of Atlas' crew. He was arrested and taken to Unicron's head. Incognito and Tomboy both suffered life threatening injuries and were taken to the medical emergence units. The Renegades had no answers, only more questions now. What happened to Incendius? Who were the Union? And would these new Renegades learn to work together and over come there loses to battle the new threat that raised it's head?
