The Earth Years: Part #1

The Autobots and the Decepticons are reactived on earth and continue there war. Apon reactivation in the earth year of 1985, Hoist is re-awoken and being given a new body along with Grapple, Smokescreen and Skids. They continue to fight in the war.... Most of the Decepticons are forced off Earth and return to Cybertron. Hoist returns to Cybertron but in stasis having been critically injured at the hands of Underbase Starscream on Earth. He is repaired thanks to the advanced Cybertronian techonology they lacked on Earth and goes to work in the underground cells spread out across Cybertorn. New Autobot headquarters are established on Cybertron's two moons. Hoist transfers to working on the Moon-base and meets Latyrx7, stationed on the planet's main Autobot HQ, one of their many hidden bases, instead of on one of the moon bases. There they continued to work daily, fixing the wounds of severely injured Autobots from the front line and became close friends. Latyrx has a calming effect on the rogue Dinobots earning him the nick-name "dino-tamer"

Ratchet under much stress of having to repair many, many Autobots is captured by Megatron but instead of making him the Pretenders he fixes and makes Bumblebee, Jazz and Grimlock Pretenders instead. Grimlock heads to Hydrus IV to steal Nucleon and revive his fellow Dinobots, but at a cost, it has some long term-after effects. (Marvel) An Autobot convoy is forced down by a attacking Decepticon force on a far off planet. The convoy carries a computer needed for the final assault on Cybertron. Hoist and Latyrx7 are sent in to rescue the Autobots and retrieve the computer. There they encounter Rainstrom for the first time. (Hunt part I RPG) (Possible origin or time-jumped Rainstorm)

'Optimus Prime' returns to Cybertron, Latyrx7, over time, notices the Autobot leader is acting out of sorts and suspects there may be an Intel leak. He shares these concerns with Hoist, his fellow comrade who dismisses the idea.. HeavyAssault , transferred to this time by the Vok, makes a appears also returns on Cybertron to confront Megatron. The two square off and battle, resulting in the death of his Vehicon crew.

This Optimus Prime is a very convincing clone/facsimile. The real Optimus Prime, was captured by Megatron was being held and tortured by the Decepticons whilst the facsimile was used to infiltrate the Autobot ranks to gain information. The Decepticons always seemingly one step ahead and appearing before they did at key installations, Latryx7 questions the Autobots security, bring the matter of a possible leak to Optimus Prime himself. In response Latyrx7 was given command to lead the task force in the final all out attack. The outcome the assault led by Laytrx7, was an Autobot slaughterhouse. Latyrx7, Hoist and the other Autobots were saved by a mysterious stranger wearing a Vehicon insignia. This mysterious figure was none other than HeavyAssault. Having had his revenge on Megatron for being completely betrayed in the past, his past is a mystery to the two, who have no idea of his past and whether to trust him.. He did however save them.. HeavyAssault formerly meets Latyrx7, Hoist and Trailbreaker, they do nit trust him but despite wearing the vehicon insignia he vows that he serves under neither the Decepticons or the Autobots. They encounter the Decepticon criminal war-lord Rainstorm again, along with a seeker they never met, Scarrunner.(R.A.W. fanfic) To the horror of the Autobots and their leader, when Latyrx7, Hoist, Trailbreaker and the Vehicon HeavyAssault return to Autobot HQ, Latyrx7 point blank questions Optimus Prime over the ambush, who he denies anything was wrong. Over time All three stopped taking orders from Optimus and began taking the fight to the Decepticons on their terms, whilst slowly and secretly recruiting other Autobots under the radar who also had concerns about Optimus' leadership. Heavyassault declines to get involved hereafter however, and explains that he is not of this time and must fight alone. Having had his revenge on Megatron, he payed for it however with the the cost of almost all his Vehicon crew. The Vehicon declare he may return someday, but as an outcast to the Decepticon empire he cannot serve under them and vows to fight with Latryx7, Hoist and Trailbreaker if they are still around. Heavyassault leaves Cybertron/or this time-line.

In his final act, the fake Optimus Prime gave the ship route of the Autobot shuttle making the run to Autobot city on Earth for Energon, so that the Decepticon could store away on it and by pass Autobot security. As an incentive, the Fake Optimus Prime orders Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl and Brawn on to the shuttle, the heart of the morale among the Autobot warriors being some of the toughest Autobots in the Autobot army, as well as the top ranking. (Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl). All are killed by Megatron on route. Freed from his imprisonment, Optimus rushes to stop the Fake Optimus Prime and is takes him out, before rushing to Earth to stop Megatron's assault on Autobot city. In the struggle to stop Megatron once and for all Prime dies and Megatron is reformatted into Galvatron by the giant planet-eater Unicron who threatens Earth and Cybertron as we know it, eventually defeated by the new leader Rodimus Prime. During the battle for Autobot City, the "Renegades"; remain outlaws on Cybertron. Meeting after meeting took place at the High Council between Autobot elders and the Autobot senate about how to deal with these rogue Autobots. Seeking council from Along with Rodimus Prime, now at home on Cybertron it was deemed they were to be rounded up, preferably alive, to pay for their crimes - a price on their heads if necessary. To greater threat to the Autobots and the real Intel leak, they were framed with other crimes, the easy scapegoats.

The Earth Years: Part #2

Above Earth, Ratchet struggles to deal with all of the mountaing war casualties on The Ark (In Earth's orbit)
A Decepticon sports patrol team posing as Autobots use a trans-time domensional portal to get onto the ark and turn Ratchet's repair machines against him. Failing to off Ratchet the "Autobots" do "Plan B" and help him get back to Cybertron. Ratchet wants to take Grimlock, Jazz and Goldbug back with him, but when he transports back he realises they're Decepticons and he's been had - and by who, Megatron. Megatron reveals prototype armor, shells that recreate the body within it, he is blackmailed to help Megatron or Blackjack blows up the ark. Megatron didn't die on the space-bridge when blasting with him on it. he was transported to Cybertron deactivated, wounded in the Dead End with no idea who he was until coming across Blackjack at the mercy of two Autobots. Seeing that red insignia triggered something in Megatron, the hatred and he destroyed them both. (US # 56 - 60)

Darkwing and Dreadwing return from earth with the body of Starscream who Megatron plans to use as his instrument of destruction. (Pretender Starscream). Once Starscream is re-born (Albeit with a blank memory) Megatron vows to destroy the ark anyway. Starscream has gone to Earth. Ratchet tries to make his escape whilst on the Ark Kup infiltrates the Decepticon setting up the detonators. Ratchet is saved when it's revealed he used the spare pretender shell bodies to fix jazz, Grimlock and Goldbug. (Who goes back to being Bumblebee.)
Ratchet & the Pretenders bid their escape as Ratchet tries to warn Optimus, but they are distracted on Earth my the blank state, Starscream laying waste in Megatron's name. During the attack Starscream regains his former self and pleads to Scorponok for his life. Ratchet manages to get away and Teleports the bombs from the Ark using the trans-time dimensional transporter not to escape as Megatron first thinks. Megatron dives for the portal as his only escape but Ratchet tackles him into the portal which then explodes. Scorponok retreats with Starscream and on the Ark Optimus laments over Ratchet's death.

The Pretenders Grimlock, Jazz and Bumblebee prepare to use the trans-time dimensional transporter but Thunderwing's (Leader) Mayhem Squad - Stranglehold, Octopunch and Bludgeon burst in and they all teleport. The Autobots arrive at Cybertron's core and Primus' head, eventually followed by the Mayhem Squad. Scorponok meanwhile tries to keep calm at Decepticon HQ with noone happy that he brought Starscream back with him. ON Cybertron they try and repair the damaged transtime dimensional portal. During the fight in front of Primus' head, a richochet of the back of Grimlocks hits Primus in the head, awakening him with sn sgonising scream. The Autobot engineers having fixed the time machine send the group back to earth, but elsewhere in the universe Unicron hears Primus' cry of agony and heads to Cybertron.
The Triggerbots are investigating the desert planet Cheyne in their search for the Matrix. Even more so than the others, Dogfight is less than thrilled about their current assignment, and is literally itching for a fight when they're nearly run down by a pack of riders, chasing a child, Dogfight leaps into action, and the other Autobots are forced to follow suit. Despite their protests that things aren't what they seem, the riders are driven off by the Triggerbots. They are then taken in by the child's parents, who act as gracious hosts and insist the Autobots freshen up at their farm before moving on.

Meanwhile, Thunderwing has hooked his three Autobot captives (Hosehead, Nightbeat and Siren) up to a Mind Leech device, and has extracted enough information from them to learn of the Matrix Quest. Ruckus makes an off-handed remark about how good it'll be for the Decepticons to eliminate the Autobot Matrix once and for all. Thunderwing silently disagrees, though, and is already forming plans to claim the Matrix, and its power, for himself. Back at the ranch, Hud and his family tell the Triggerbots a sad tale about being driven off their homeworld by a political upheaval, and about trouble with "land prospectors" on this one trying to take away their farm. Once again, the Autobots allow themselves to be convinced to stay longer than they should, turning their quick stop for freshening up into an overnight stay. Elsewhere, Optimus Prime reaches deep into himself to make psychic contact with the Matrix, but is treated to visions of a dark corruption consuming the artifact, and the face of Unicron swallowing all Transformers into oblivion.

The true history of the Matrix after it left Earth in Optimus Prime's body unfolds. Crash landing on the barren moon, the Matrix lies inactive until a droid crashes nearby as well, on the edge of death. Revitalized, the mechanoid who once brought death only to the terminally ill becomes willing and able to take all life in its path. The Matrix maintains a psychic link with the Deathbringer after it departs, and experiences new sensations through the being, such as pain, terror, and evil. It becomes... curious. Next, a small predatory creature crawls into Prime's dead chest and is exposed to the Matrix's power. Recognizing the creature as a predator that kills victims which are neither food nor enemy, the Matrix becomes fascinated by the nature of evil. To experiment with more sensations, it recreates the creature into a larger and more deadly form, something that curious scientists from Cameron Space Control learn to their eternal lament.

Cut to the present. The Classic Pretenders are exploring what remains of the exploration habitat. As Bumblebee uncovers the survey logs, which end abruptly after the first encounter with Optimus Prime's funeral barge and the Matrixspawn, Grimlock returns from exploring the ruins. He's found the research team... what's left of them. While the Autobots are pondering their options, Thunderwing suddenly crashes through the window, demanding they hand over the Matrix to him. Back at Thunderwing's ship, Ruckus is monologuing to himself about how unfair it is that he's stuck on guard duty. Little does he realize that his impact shook loose a circuit, sending an electrical surge through the Mind Leech technology holding the Headmaster prisoners in stasis.
In the research station, Jazz makes a vain attempt to reason with Thunderwing before he crushes Bumblebee's neck, but Grimlock just hauls off and slugs him. As Thunderwing's Decepticon warriors join the fight, Windsweeper sees how outnumbered the Autobots are and decides to just hang back in the shadows and let the other Decepticons do the work. This strategy works pretty well until the Matrixspawn grabs him from behind with its tail and begins pulling him up to the rafters.


The Decepticons meanwhile notice Windsweeper is missing, and spot the creature about ready to devour him. Needlenose tries to kill the Matrixspawn and save his comrade, but Thunderwing shoves him out of the way when he recognizes the Matrix energy dripping from the creature. Afraid of being separated from its vessel, the Matrix bids it to retreat. Thunderwing takes off in hot pursuit, leaving some very chagrined Decepticon troopers wondering just how far gone their leader is. As the Pretenders regroup, they realize the moon's heavy gravity is beginning to have an effect on them; it seems they had been burning extra energon over the last few hours to compensate, which only means that now they're low on fuel reserves. Chasing after the creature as best they can, the Autobots are caught between Thunderwing and the Matrixspawn as they battle for the right to possess the Matrix. Bumblebee, all-but dry of energy, reaches slowly towards the Matrix as their enemies fight to the death and...

At the Ark, the Classic Pretenders' shuttle is coming in for a smooth landing, and Optimus Prime eagerly goes to meet the conquering heroes and reclaim their prize. The laugh's on him though, as Thunderwing steps forth from the shuttle wielding the power of the Matrix as his own.
An ailing Oprimus Prime (PM) has had Nightbeat looking into the death of Ratchet theorizing that maybe he was thrown from the blast and not killed. Grimlock, restless with things weighing on his mind; takes the stasis locked dinobots on a shuttle to Hydrus IV to look for necleus to restore his comrades. Over at the Decepticons Mindwipe, Starscream and Shockwave (Along with Ravage) have just declared civil war. Uniconr's minions, Hook, LIne & SInker bring Galvatron to Unicron to summon him to serve him again else be tortured like before, Galvatron agrees but secretly has his own agenda.

When a probe with Ratchet's bio-medical read-out is sent through a portal in hopes to find Ratchet, a figure comes through but not what they expected. Ratchet yes, but fused with Megatron. With the Megatron/Ratchet monster causing mayhem aboard the Ark it is agreed to surgically separate them even if it means also saving Megatron in the process. Meanwhile Grimock arrives on Hydrus IV and tries the Nucleon on himself before his comrades in case they resent him once back online, he feels great from the effects. On Earth, Optimus Prime surrenders to Scorponok knowing they must all work together because of Unicron. On Cybertron Galvatron II plucked from another timeline by Unicron - Marvel canon) follows Emirate Xaaron down to the very depths of Cybertron.

Following the brief civil war and then involvement of the Neo Knights on Earth The three Decepticon outlaws bow to Scorponok's superior forces, meanwhile on Cybertron Emirate Xaaron and Galvatron II are before Primus himself. Xaaron begs Primus for help and even Galvatron (II) knows the Autobots must unite with the Decepticons to fight Unicron with the Matrix gone and sowants all Earth-bound Transformers teleported back to Cybertron. Grimlock and the newly revived Dinobots pump the shuttle full of Nucleon to bring back and revive the other many injured & stasis-locked Autobots. Unicron realises Galvatron is up to something and despatches Hook, Line & Sinker into the deepest depths of Cybertron to investigate but Galvatron dispatches them easily, while Primus takes the body of Emirate Xarron. As the Earth bound Transformers are returned to Cybertron, Grimlock has trouble finding anyone and just starts pumping the injured stasis pods with Nucleon - including Megatron's (Who just happens to be right next to Ratchet's following the surgery!)

As devoted hordes of Unicron followers and worshipers on Cybertron vow to kill Optimus Prime spurred on by the embodiment of Primus in Xarron's body. They are dispatched, even by Galvatron helping but it as to no avail as Unicron arrives at Cybertron..

As the Transformers prepared for the impending apocalypse, Galvatron secretly helped fight some Unicron cultists who tried to assassinate Optimus Prime. The Void! But despite his covert assistance, the Transformers still scattered helplessly when Unicron arrived. Realizing that he needed to make a public appearance to set an example, Galvatron powered himself up with energy from Cybertron itself, then attacked Unicron with a single, mighty blast. Unicron swatted him aside, and he would not be seen again for the course of the battle. But he had succeeded in inspiring the other Transformers to unite against their planet-eating enemy. During the battle, the Ark arrived with Autobot reinforcements, but it was abandoned by the time Unicron was destroyed. Starscream and Shockwave commandeered it to conquer the newly undefended Earth, and Galvatron was inspired to stow away, with the goal of eventually re-creating his own lost Terran empire. Still Life! However, none of them were aware that Megatron was in a stasis tube in the ship's medical facility, and that he had been mistakenly re-energized with Nucleon. Galvatron encountered the disoriented Megatron wandering down a hallway, and all of Galvatron's repressed insanity erupted.

Galvatron very nearly destroyed Megatron, fueled by a desire to excise the madness from his own mind, but he stopped himself for fear of disrupting his own history. He believed that the timeline he was in was not the one that would one day produce him, but he still didn't want to take any chances. Megatron, his own mind a chaotic mix with Ratchet's, was barely aware of anything that was happening to him. He was helpless when Shockwave saw him and attacked him, but Galvatron saved him by smashing Shockwave's head against a wall. Galvatron offered a truce to Megatron in the hopes that working with his past self would help him come to grips with the source of his madness. Megatron accepted, but their alliance was cut short when the Ark crashed on Earth again.

Venturing out of the wreckage into the wilderness of northern Canada, Galvatron was set upon by the Canadian army. He did away with them easily, but he was soon confronted by another human, one whom he had almost vaporized in his own time: Spike Witwicky. This younger Spike had been drawn to the area by his Headmaster partner, Fortress Maximus, who was inside the Ark. Rejoined, the human/Autobot duo attacked Galvatron as he began to threaten a town. Galvatron, his madness utterly consuming him, fought Maximus with a feral rage, but Maximus defeated him and threw him into a frozen lake.
