Over time many of Liege Maximo followers began to question his leadership and found themselves jealous of his power. They envied his control of all the planets in his Cybertronian Empire as many of them wanted independence and their own planets to rule but were denied. One such Cybertronian whose voice was among those that desired control within the HUB was Krylliux. Krylliux was one of Liego Maximo’s enforcers who longed for conquest and glory. However Krylliux felt his ambitions were never going to come to fruition. When it came to raiding other worlds for their resources Liego Maximo never allowed Krylliux to take lead, instead that honor went to Jhiaxus. Soon Krylliux began to spark small revolts on the planets within the HUB, igniting a revolution. The HUB was now the setting for its first civil war, one that saw many of Liege Maximo's minions turn against him. The army against Liege Maximo had greater numbers then those who, like Jhiaxus, remained loyal to their creator but it was Liege Maximo’s powers that balanced the war in his favor.
Wishing to resolve the conflict once and for all with enough power to rule over the HUB with complete control, Liege Maximo decided he would attempt to gain absolute power by ascending to the realm of the Dark Gods by using the resonating structure of the Hub to do so. However Krylliux had learned about Liego Maximo’s plans. Krylliux’s forces attacked when Liego Maximo attempt his ascension and managed to disrupted the process when Liege Maximo left his corporeal body, then destroying both it and his portal. Left with nowhere to go, the Liege Maximo's essence dissipated into nothingness, and was destroyed. The war came to an end in just a matter of days with Jhiaxus' being thrown in to a cell where he would endure the toils of captivity and torture. It was here that there were many fights and battles as to see who would claim the planets within the Cybertronian Empire. Small groups began to unite and become small armies, clashing with one another. For a time one group would claim a planet for themselves until a much stronger force took it from them brutally. The strongest of the armies was lead by Krylliux, now known as Krylliux the God Slayer. As Krylliux was slowly taking over most of the planets in the HUB system, it was discovered by one of his highest-ranking officers, a Cybertronian named Rook, which many of the planets were beginning to lose their energy. Without the life force of Leigo Maximo to preserve the natural state of each world, the planets within the HUB were doomed to shut down. Krylliux ignored the dilemma as his quest for power blinded him to the reality of the situation. Knowing that time was running out and that he lacked the resources to solve the problem on his own, Rook betrayed Krylliux by freeing Jhaixus. Rook was counting on Jhaixus skills of a scientist and knowledge solve the HUB’s dilemma as well hoped that reviling the truth would cause many to side with. With Jhaixus now free, the secret of the decaying planets was exposed. Many decided to abandon Krylliux and side with Jhaixus due to the fact they had been fooled and deceived. Soon the war shifted to two sides with Jhaixus and Krylliux leading the armies against each other. After many battles that claimed many lives, Jhaixus emerged as the victorious one after his final confrontation with Krylliux.

With the war having destroyed many of the Cybertronians, depleting valuable energy sources and resources, Jhaixus was limited to what he could do to accomplish the task of saving the HUB system. There was no power source available to power all the planets in the system. Planets began to die and become lifeless husks floating around the HUB sun. With the lack of energon to fuel the dead planets in habitants, they began to arrive at other planets to live off their energy reserves. Soon more conflicts rose, as many fought over land and resources for their survival. One such Cybertronian who lead one of the many factions was Acidius. Acidius was a reckless warrior, who didn’t actually fight for his survival or for those who were loyal to him. Acidius actually had regard for life or his own and figured he was doomed no matter who lead the Cybertronians. He fought due to his destructive and fatalistic nature. Many Cybertronians warriors admired Acidius’ war-like spirit and saw him as a hero who would lead them to sanctuary, even if it meant that Acidius himself would have to be taken down later on.
In a desperate attempt in powering up all the planets in the HUB and to have enough power to rule over the empire, Jhaixus constructed a mighty warship with the power to harness the power of a star and named it the Twilight. He could use it to destroy or repower one of the metallic planets in the hub. The Twilight proved to be a success, however Acidius and his finest warriors invaded the Twilight in a last ditch attempt to claim control of the ship for them selves. Acidius and his troops managed to disabled the ship but did not live to see their success as Jhaixus had managed to slay them. But before Jhaixus come resume control of the Twilight the ship fell victim to the gravitational pull of the HUB's sun, the massive ship's power source, and was pulled towards it, consuming the ship and Jhaixus. Days later, Acidius remaining forces captured Rook and sentenced him to death for freeing and siding with Jhaixus. Rook execution took place in public. Everyone is present saw his body quartered and then put on public display for all to see.
After the death of Jhaixus, the only planet to retain some of it’s internal power was the Thorne World. The last of the Cybertronians gathered there in small camps across the planets where they scavenged for energy, weapons and any supplies they needed. They often clashed with others camps but not on the same scale as the great wars from years before. It wasn't until a Cybertronian named Arvadatron, a former warlord of one of the stronger clans from the days of old, began to rally the inhabitants of the planet. He preached that the Cybertronians came from a proud race of powerful beings who could achieve great things with their intellect, science, ability to transform and their strength when it came to war. He vowed to lead the Cybertronians to greatness once again. He instructed that all across should band together to rebuild the HUB. Together the Cybertronians were able to build a small fleet of ships, an armada to go forth and pillage the galaxy for all that they needed to rebuild their empire. Arvadatron was convinced that the answer to restoring the Cybertronians to greatness would be found somewhere among the stars. The fleet was spread out in different directions to gather what they needed and return to the HUB once they were ready. Unknowingly Arvadatron traveled in the direction of Cybertron, their place of origin long forgotten to the Cybertronians. However before he arrived, Arvadatron’s star ship came across something else. The ship detected a strong power source out in space amidst a field of debris that looked as if it had once been apart of a metallic world like the once within the HUB. The power source was collected from space and turned out to be much smaller then expected. A crystallized ball of rock, just big enough to fit inside someone's hand was giving off tremendous readings. While the scientists aboard the ship could not explain the origins of the rock, Aravadatron found himself drawn to it. Each time he gazed upon the rock, he felt as if it was calling to him. When Arvadatron finally took the rock into his hands, he began to find his answers. The crystallized rock came from the Unicron, the God of Chaos. It had once been apart of Unicron's spark that was once pure energy that had now formed into the hard crystallized substance that Arvadatron now held in his hands. Arvadatron was now connected to the crystal as it feed him information about Unicron, Primus, Cybertron, and the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Arvadatron's mind was invaded by what was left of Unicron's dark and twisted soul. Arvadatron own spark became poisoned with dark ambition. Arvadatron soon ordered that the ship and the rest of the armada return to the HUB.

Once Arvadatron had returned, he informed all the inhabitants of the planet what he had discovered. He told them of the history of Cybertron, and about Megatron and his Decepticon army. Arvadatron was inspired by the stories of Megatron that he proclaimed that this was his and his people's new direction, that they were now a new breed of Decepticons, guided by the newly christened the Anti-Matrix, also know as the Matrix of Conquest. A new plan was in motion, to take Cybertron back for them selves. Many agreed to join A Arvadatron 's new quest and answered Arvadatron’s call of ‘Til one conquers all!’ Those that did not were made into slaves or put to death. Soon the plan to build a new army and intergalactic attack force was put in motion. As well as a new way to create new life in the form of soldiers which Arvadatron referred to as his Destructicon army. He took the crystallized rock, now contained within a head of a dead Cybertronian, and gave it to the scientists of the planet who invented a process called Spark-Splitting. Spark-Splitting meant they could draw out new sparks from the crystal and place them within the laser core of a newly constructed body of a Cybertronain.
Arvadatron soon began to choose who would lead his army against Cybertron. Fireblast, a large Destructicon who could transform into a large dragon-like monster was placed in charge of the ground forces. Vendetta, a highly skilled air warrior was made sky commander and placed in charged of the Destructicon air force. Lust, a fembot air warrior was chosen as Arvadatron enforcer due to her violent nature and fighting skills.
