With the comic reader comixology has I've no idea what page i'm on, so you'll have to give me a clue - Drift? Rung? All I know is I'm halfway through the second volume.

Volume 2 is issues 4-8. Issue 50 is the first part of Volume 10. So quite a ways off.

Oh issue 50! For some reason I read that as page 50, my mistake.

When you get there, you'll understand the reaction.
Issues 4-8, that's where Ratchet, Drift & Pipes go to Delphi and meet First Aid, Ambulon and Pharma, then we get introduced to the Scavengers and the DJD. Two very good stories.

I really enjoyed the start of IDW and up to the Costa run. I then picked it up again for MTMTE which I really enjoyed, I just lost track when they went all crossover crazy and all these femmebot characters turned up. I need to pick it up and finish the series.
Regen One was a cool Marvel ending, though I wish time travel Galvy had turned up in the last panel just to shout. "It never ends!"

Did you get it? Were you satisfied if you did? Maybe it's time to move on from G1 and have something fresh and new.

Definitely satisfied with how it ended.
IDW have already sort of moved onto something new. Star Trek Vs Transformers. Based on the Star Trek cartoon. And there's also a Go-Bots comic that started. (Yes, I know "new" doesn't really apply to Star Trek of Go-Bots).

Just found out that IDW will be making more Transformers comics at some point in the future. Details are very slim at the moment, setting will be pre-war and John Barber is at the helm (John Barber being the guy who ironed out pretty much all of the continuity wrinkles that arose due to all the different writers). Yay. Here's hoping there will be some more James Roberts penned stories as well.

I'm glad, as I said maybe it's time to move away from the G1 (Crammed into everything) for a little while and get some original stuff not tied to that universe constantly.
