I didn't love it. But I didn't hate it. It was...there. I don't regret buying it, but I've not had the overwhelming urge to watch it again.
However, I hate, with a passion, the so-called "fans" out there that have been sending all kinds of abuse to the cast and crew, saying that they'd be able to do a better job if they had the chance, demanding the film get re-made and just generally being all-round &$%*£ that have made me not want to call myself a Star Wars fan anymore because I don't want to be associated with them.
That's easily the worse thing about the movie, the way the fandom reacted to it.

That's easily the worse thing about the movie, the way the fandom reacted to it. That is exactly how I felt about the movie. There are parts of the movie that ruin it for me, and some characters, new and old. Where I think the direction Luke was taken in I think makes sense, but I guess I wanted to see him treated different and more of the Luke that he had become on ROTJ. Han got to be Han in TFA, so why can't Luke be Luke? In retrospect I think it would of been better.

Yeah it was very mediocre for me anyway. Not terrible, not amazing either. I think I'm done with the Star wars films now to be honest, if there's another I'd wait for it on Netflix or Amazon Prime, rather than see it at the cinema.

Hmm, that's just reminded me, I completely forgot about Solo. Like, forgot it existed. I want to see it, but I'm not in a rush to.
I get what you mean about being done with the movies. We've had TFA, Rogue One, Solo and TLJ all in the last three years. That's... That's just a lot. Not even Transformers has bombarded us with that many films in such a short time.

Again I'm with you BB.
I want to see Solo but I missed it but didn't care so much that I did. It comes out on DVD in a few days so I'll get it then.
And I think that were getting so many SW films now is a problem. The 3 year wait made them so much more special.
But wait, what did we think about Rogue One?
I liked it a lot!! It had a lot working for it. I won't go spoiler until you guys say it's ok.

*TLJ SPOILERS*
I'm going to say I enjoyed TLJ but I am not a hardcore SW fan, so as a neutral I was pretty happy with it all. I did see it at the cinema, and the only WTF bit was the end floaty away segment which I don't think was necessary. Maybe there is a plan to follow up on this?
I quite like Darth Emo but only as much as I find him amusing, not like a big villain. I do like Rey, I think the actress is good and the character works for me.
Casino world sidequest though? Pftt!

From TFA and TLJ, I think my favourite character is probably Poe. Each trilogy has had at least one character that everyone describes as "The best pilot in the Galaxy", but he's the only one that actually seems to live up to the rep.
Luke flew in a straight line and fired a proton torpedo without his targeting computer, then he got shot down flying HEAD ON to an AT-AT. Han Solo listed lazily to the left. Anakin raced pod-racers when he was a kid, then crashed into General Greivous' ship. Poe helped take down the First Order when they attacked Maz's place, then he helped take down Starkiller Base, then he lead an assault on the guys attacking at the end of TLJ.
Outside of the movies, best pilot is Wedge Antillies. Hands down. Rogue Squadron, Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike, all three games you spend the majority of the time playing as Wedge. Plus, in the movies he took down an AT-AT by coming at it from the side and using the harpoon and tow-cable instead of flying at it from the front like Luke did.
