Do you like them,/the ideas of them, what's your favourite dinosaur? When I was a kid, I would've said the stereotypical T-Rex - and if that's your favorite then fair enough but as an adult as I've looked at more different types on the internet and expanded my knowledge; I've come to have a thing over the many years for the Ankylosaurus. I'm not sure why, but it's just fascinated me over the years with the big club tail and spikes on it's back. (Sometimes portrayed as nubs/nubbly bits). I've also always liked Dimetrodons, Stegosauruses and Archaeopteryxs right down to sea creatures like the trilobites. It might even be a tie between the Ankylosaurus and Dimetrodon. As a kid I was also fascinated learning about them at school, Transformers came along and combines my two favorite things - dinosaurs and robots to be the Dinobots of course, which is why I always have a bit of a soft spot for the G1 Dinobots. This isn't about the Dinobots however, things we learned about dinosaur change as our knowledge grows, now a days there's the whole "Feather thing". I also had a small collection of plastic dinosaurs as a kid as well, some semi-translucent including a Dimetrodon! So what are your thoughts on our fossilized friends of long ago?

I've been a fan of the pachycephalosaurus ever since The Lost World: Jurassic Park came out. Big domed skull that can take a heck of a hit. Also found out about the stygimoloch recently. A similar creature, domed skull, but with more horns. Carnivores are cool and all (I like the various types of raptors, even if the velociraptor's most well known portrayal is probably the least accurate), but the herbivores have really cool defences against them.

Yes! The pachycephalosaurus! I didn't recognize the name but when I looked it up I knew it - mainly because of it's unique head shape! Gotta agree with raptors too. Anything like early sea and land mammals in Jurassic times fascinates me as well.

I should have used the codename that Roland Tembo (played by Pete Postlethwaite) used, Friar Tuck. And the Stygimoloch looks like a Pachycephalosaurus that's gone down the Evil route in an RPG.
