I'll be interested to see what this "style" is exactly before I can pass judgement, but something set in the WFC is a big plus. Also I'll be adding this to the portal page and giving you news credit.

Did a little bit of research on Polygon and the past shows they've made, seeing as they're the ones handling the animation. They've made Ghost in the Shell 2, some episodes of Clone Wars, Transformers: Prime and Transformers: RID (2015). Not bad.

I can't remember my original thoughts on the toys when I first saw them. I saw that I posted something about how movies would put out toys related to a movie before the film was released to the public, but of course there was nothing about the up and coming show back then. At least to my knowledge. And this new show isn't for a while.
I think I may have been hopefully for a new video game. But really hadn't given this much thought, even with 'trilogy' on the box.
I'm happy that a new show is in the works. If it takes many elements from the WFC game, I'll be in heaven. I guess we won't see a follow up to FoC but we could see still see a new game based on the new show and old game. But for now this is great news!
EDIT: No sign of Bumble Bee, eh?

EDIT: No sign of Bumble Bee, eh? The Siege toyline, from what I've seen of it, has a distinct lack of yellow. Maybe as Bumblebee is the main character of Cyberverse, got his own movie (and rebooted the live-action franchise) and was one of the main characters in RID, they've finally decided to let some other characters have the spotlight.

Distinct lack of yellow eh? It needs more Grapple! #bringbackgrapple
I was always disappointing High Moon never got to to a third game with War For Cybertron., I personally don't count things like "Rise of the dark spark" and the tie in movie games. For me it's like saying Cybertron was the third (Or meant to be) in the Armada trilogy when it felt completely different to Energon and Armada before them IMO. They can take the engine for War for/Fall of Cybertron and stick it in use for ROTDS, but to me that doesn't make me count it chronologically .

Rise of the Dark Spark (never played it btw) was weird, part sequel to WFC/FOC, part movie-universe. And then there's the face that WFC/FOC was in the same timeline as Prime and RID. So we ended up with two completely different, unrelated Grimlocks and a couple of other characters got the same treatment.
I'm hoping that the WFC trilogy is set in it's own continuity.
