Although it'#s never really been big here in the UK do you still celebrate Halloween? Is there anything special you do, do you still go trick or treating?
As usual later on today I will be stating my horror-thon watching as many horror movies from a list formulated over the years by your truly and try to fit as many as possible into one month until Nov 5th - which co-incidentally the Halloween theme here stops being the default theme before going back to normal.

Heck yes I do!
Still a huge fan of Halloween here in the US of A, and I use to go trick-or-treating well until I was 21. Quite frankly, I probably still can since most mistake me as a teenager. 😂 Still, me and my family really kinda going away from trick-or-treating, but we do like to watch scary movies and give out candy to trick-or-treaters.

I tend to eat a lot of sugar and go on a horror movie binge. I'm thinking that I'll kick things off this month with the Evil Dead trilogy, and then I'll see where things take me.

I usually start of with a few supernatural films then on to comedy horror films (Elvira: Mistress of The Dark, The Lost Boys etc) before going on to the real horror. I go from early 60's schlock (The Mummy, Bride of Frankenstein) to 70's classics, 80's fun/campness as well as killer kids n dolls, serial killers (Freddy, Jason), Phantasm films, vampire films, zombie films and a finale of my absolute favourites!

Evil Dead II last night, Army of Darkness now. Tomorrow will be Braindead, I've got Thirteen Ghosts recorded, so I'll watch that tomorrow. While hunting for my copy of Army of Darkness, I discovered I own An American Werewolf in London. Totally forgot I bought that classic.

I love An American Werewolf in London! "Keep off the moors. Stick to the roads, and the best of luck."

Any favorite costume/guises' you went out as?

Hmm, as a kid I still think my favorite costume was being the original Pink Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. Mostly because it was one of my all-time favorite shows and as cliche as it may sound I loved Kimberly.
The past few years, think it’s been the easy-to-do “make ‘em up” costumes these days. Three years back I was a sort of black and white Cheshire cat and the last two a female Nightwing because it was the cheapest way to make a costume at the time. I really only added vampire teeth last year just for laughs.

It's surprisingly easy to pull off a werewolf costume. Especially if there's no full moon at the time, no costume needed.

The first Evil Dead would easily rank in my top 10 horror films of all time, maybe even top 5!

I've always preferred Evil Dead II.
Tonight's movie of choice, Cabin in the Woods.

Can't have a good sequel without a great original though! Although, I do like Evil Dead II also.
Watched Rob Zombie's Halloween again for only the second time - yeah it's still not a great film and very flawed, You can never beat the original anyway.

I remembered earlier that I own Sleepy Hollow, so that's my film for tonight. And right next to Sleepy Hollow (good thing I have my films in alphabetical order) was my copy of Slither. So that's most of my weekend sorted.

Halloween month is drawing to a close. I'm rounding off my horror movie marathon with Scream.
HOWEVER! The other night, I found that I have another 20 horror movies in my collection, so for now November will henceforth be known as October II and the marathon continues!
