Streaming sites have taken over most people's lives. We will binge countless hours watching "originals" and classics on Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Crave (Canada), Shudder and many more. Tell us what you are watching. I'm always on the look out for something new or old to watch.
I'm a pretty big John Cleese fan. I adore him and i have been re-watching "Fawlty Towers" and i discovered "Hold The Sunset". I'd recommend both shows but they are very different. Fawlty had some non stop zany humor and the lead character Basil was a fireball of energy. Hold the Sunset is about an older couple looking to escape on their own to enjoy the last of their life. This of course is met with some funny obstacles. Both shows can be found on Prime under the BritBox channel. (First month is free)
On Shudder i recently watched "Are We Not Cats?". I really loved it. Be warned though if you want a lot of blood and gore then you won't like this one at all. I actually wouldn't call it a horror movie myself.

Have you ever seen the film A Fish Called Wanda with Cleese? That's a good one if you haven't. A lesser known film with him I also enjoy is Clockwise if you can find it. I do love Fawlty Towers though i'd say it's in my top 5 of comedy's!

Yes! Love that one and they just added it to Prime here. I am sad to learn that Canada isn't really getting HBO Max. At least not the full version. We will get some watered down thing through the Crave service. Sure we have the HBO shows and will get the new ones but we are not getting the WB library.

Hate to double post and not edit but Hanna season 2 just dropped on Amazon Prime Video and i am so excited. I loved the first season. If you haven't checked it out but like the genre then you need to give it a chance. Esme C. Creed is perfect in the title role. The IMDB description of Hanna is this: In equal parts high-concept thriller and coming-of-age drama, HANNA follows the journey of an extraordinary young girl raised in the forest, as she evades the relentless pursuit of an off-book CIA agent and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.

Is that the one where a kid mysteriously disappears? Yes, little German series. Sci-fi themed but more reality based as in "Things that happen in the past affecting the future" and vice versa Back-to-the-future-cause-and-effect wibbly wobbly timey whimey stuff. Great series.

I would properly watch it if it wasn't dubbed. Sometimes dubbed stuff doesn't sit right with me. Unless it's old school kung-fu movies, grew up on that so it's different. But Dark sounds like something I could watch.
I just finished the Punisher and Altered Carbon on Netflix. Fun shows and crazy violent. The next one to finish is season one of Narcos: Mexico. The original Narcos series was amazing!
Watched the Mandalorian on D+. Great show! Never thought I'd live to watch a Star Wars TV show but here we are. One episode bugged me and some actors shouldn't have been hired but over all I loved it.

How do you feel about reading English subs? To be honest it's not the same with a dub, I started that way and didn't get beyond one or two episodes. There's nothing like experiencing a full angry rant in harsh German as happens on the show. Just not the same with a dub, you lose something...
I've always heard about Altered Carbon, good things that is. I really should give it a go one time...

All the Narcos' shows have english subtitles. They mix it up between english and spanish.

Doctor Sleep is streaming on Crave in Canada and i have to say it was way better than i was expecting. Hanna Season 2 just dropped on Prime and i have made my way back into that world. In Netflix news i was very sad to hear about Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ending after season 4.

Just finished the first season of Narcos: Mexico. Not a happy ending.
Began watching the new Ghost in the Shell series. Love it when it's a series and not a movie. Cyborg cops are my thing!

You like Cyborgs? Prime Video Canada just added the "Nemesis" movie series. It's not as good as some movies and i would only really recommend the first one with Olivier Gruner but for the budget i thought it was a great effort. I hope Prime carries it where you are. I just finished the Grudge Origins (omg....) and Netflix's Cursed (Liked it).
