San Banardino, Los Angeles.
Deep in an old abandoned tube station, far under the city, lies a secret, a secret known only to a select few, a chosen few..
Through darkened tunnels voices carry,, old train tracks once alive with electricy that carried ancient metal transport carriers, now lie dormant. . Two hundred and forty years ago it served as a tube station that from all the way from San Banardino in L.A. right up to Sacremento in Upper San Francisco, but in fear of the Holocaust it was deactivated and filled with food and supplies incase there was a nuclear fallout.
Forty years later in the new millenium it was cleared again in the new urban re-newal program to regenerate old run down parts of the city and the tunnels were closed once again for good and street entrances to the subway were locked of permanently.
Old stations that used to serve pa$$engers had be transformed over the years to key habitatle areas for a resistance grroup who apposed the military. What were once stations were now a command center, living quarters and make shift eating areas.. It sure wasn't the Ritz, but it had the neccasary fuctions need, power - run of an old generator inside the stations, running water - though not proper washing facilities like baths and hydro-showers that were around today in modern society, and basic immenities for a very basic living for those that had no home..
Under the City they stayed, a small rebel community who fought for Justice, who believed peace and freedom was for every sentient being whether from Earth or beyond.
Great stories had been told of a time almost 2 and a quater centuries ago of Giant robots arriving from another planet, robots who had fled their war-torn world in search of peace and crash landed on their planet. A race who's enemy caused them to be stranded on earth where the two sides fought once more as they tried to get home. One side, a protector, intergrating with human society and inadvertently involving them as their enemy tried to suck earth dry of it's resources, their way of getting home.
They were the Transformers, sentient robotic lifeforms who came by accident but became part of the culture 220 years ago.. Some returned home but those who didn't were permanently put out of action trapped underneath Earth's seas and land, entombed, until they were re-awaked one day by a team of scientists, by which time 2 Earth decades had pa$$ed, but were good was, evil followed and war begun anew..
But Earth tried to help these survivors return home, may goverments, scientists helped tried to help but lost their life when their ship took to the sky and exploded in a tragic accident, From that day on the Transformers were never trusted again and forced of the planet requisistioned by Earth's United nations never to return.
As the war continued on the Transformers home planet of Cybertron, they kept they're promise but by 150 of Earth's years their home had come barron, a wasteland once more, the worst in thousand of Vorns. WIthout Enegon they faced exintion and so returned to Earth, a small tribe of Autobots but did not get a warm welcome, the phrase time heals, seemingly never an accurate phase of Earth society..
