Once again, as it has happened countless times before, Cybertron’s crimson sun cut through the darkness of space shinning down on the great planet, marking the beginning of a brand new solar cycle.
The people of Jekka city came out of there newly rebuilt homes. Today was a special day in their city. Today it exactly was one year ago which the Destructicons invaded Cybertron and laid it to waste, destroying almost the entire surface of the planet. But the forces of evil had been driven back by the Renegades in that despite battle that’s ended only months ago.
After the fighting stopped the Autobots and Cybertronians quickly went about repairing the damage and rebuilding their cities. Friends and families were reunited and the Autobots regrouped under the leadership of their new commander Emirate Vector Primus.
It was his idea to have the celebration and memorial on this day. To remember those fallen and to leave behind what happened in the past. As well, he invited the Renegades out. He knew they played a huge part in the war, in fact a bigger part then the Autobots played. This didn’t sit well with him. While he worked on plans he felt certain would work against the Destructicons, the Renegades beat him to it. Along with this he wasn’t sure if he could trust them and decided to wait and see what would come of their interaction.
The Emirate had made his way towards the Jekka Amphitheatre, he pa$$ed over the Tyrest Quadrant within a flying armored carrier packed with his special guards. As he pa$$ed over the area he could see the population coming out in large groups. Not only did the city come out for the occasion but so did many other cities and small communities ventured out to join the gathering. He would touch down soon.

"The devil always seems to get his way."Highway made his way through the inner halls of the Amphitheatre making sure security was tight. He was one of the few that disagreed with this gathering, being out in the open as well as for what it really stood for. To him it was nothing more then the Emirates attempt to impose his will on the people of Cybertron and control them. He knew the Emirate’s intentions were for the good of the people, he didn’t like they way he went about it. Another factor that concerned him was the new Autobot officer Vice3. He and Vector Primus had been working on plans during the fighting shortly after Vice3 appeared on the scene almost suspiciously, it was like he never existed until now. This made Highway distrust the mech very much. But the number one thought on his mind, the most troubling one, was that of the Renegades. He knew most of them as Autobot before the war, before many of them ventured out into space along Optimus Maximus before embarking on the long journey searching the galaxy for Decepticons or any threat to Cybertron. He trusted them and had to make Vector Primus see it. It would not be a good situation if the Destructicons ever came back and both sides distrusted one another. The ex-cons of the Renegades had been given pardons long before the war and the law stated this, however it seemed the Emirate was wary of this and didn’t approve too much of the matter. But even if Vector Primus didn’t like it, he wasn’t powerful enough to go above or break the law. And if that wasn’t enough to eat away at him, it was the public opinion of the Autobots, which Highway felt the Autobot deserved. They had done very little during the war, with the exception of Highway, Earthcrusher and Hauler venturing out on there own performing small hit and run mauves on the Destructicons. Vector Primus held the Autobot forces back and justified it by stating that his own life need to be protected as well as the millions of Cybertronians that went underground. Point taken, Highway still felt they had enough resources to take the fight to the Destructicons. But Vector Primus shot him down again with the plan he was formulating with Vice3. All in all Highway didn’t feel like he was second in command anymore. Many considered him a war hero but he didn’t want that glory, not when there were still matters that concerned him; matters that could tear the Autobots apart. As Highway walked the third level balcony over looking the Amphitheatre grounds, he though he could make out Earthcrusher and Hauler as they walked side by side through the crowd.

[glow=purple,2,300]*Hauler walked side by side with earthcrusher through the crowds, a tall bot who was big in bulk and very physical but was all to blind to the difference between Renegade and Autobot..*
Hauler had that day been caught up in the atmosphere of jovial pride...
"Look at them Earthcrusher! Look at the citizens! So happy!"[/glow]

"Yes indeed Hauler. It does my spark well to see our fellow Cybertronians out on this day enjoying themselves."
The mighty Earthcrusher stood just as tall as Hauler and just as big. He had both hands balled up as fist and resting on his sides as he looked about proudly at the citizens of Cybertron.
"They have much to be happy about on such an occasion. Come and let us find our brothers and celebrate with all."

Vice-3 stood in one of the balconys looking over the ground below. He monitered the vice units movements from his mobile comm and sounded off their check points as they went about their crowd control. [glow=blue,2,300]Things are running smoothly... a little too smoothly...[/glow] he muttered to himself.

As the two Autobots made there way through the crowd, Earthcrusher noticed the new Vice Units. "Behold my friend. See? The new Emirates force for protecting the planet. He has finally revealed his plan for his new army I believe. Hmm, curious? Let us ask Highway what his view on it shall we?"
He two finally caught up to Highway as the Autobot hero was surounded by those who respected he mech for his courage during the war.
:highway "Morning Hauler, Earthcrusher. How are the two of you on this solar-cycle?"

:earthcrusher "You worry too much my friend. Security is tight and the Destructicons are no where insight. Come, let us buy you a energon lager and let the weight of the world fall away from your shulders."

Unbenowst to the many Autobots, a small cloaked craft lands on the outskirts of the city. A small group of what seem to be Autobots exit it and head towards the Amphitheatre.

"I don't like this, rrrr! I'm more used to just walking up to one of these goodie goodies and smacking them in the face. And why we have to wait until that backward slag removal pipe Vector Primus finishes hs speech huh? I mean we can just cap him one inbetween his beedie optics and be done with it. Now thats chaos!"[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]"You two go ahead" replied Hauler to Highway and Eartcrusher, "i wanna keep a clear head for the ceremonies, but i'll have one with you later!"
Hauer didn't want to dissapoint his commrades, and one energon larger later wouldn't hurt, but right now he wanted a clear mind to hear everything Vector Primus had to say..
*As they left some of the citizens were starting to clap and cheer, Hauler just joined in with the spirit of things and joined in doing so himself..*[/glow]
