"Torque, Torque," Wormhole looked down as he felt sorry for him having to crash like that. Wormhole didn't want to transform, since he thought he'd freeze half way through it and end up in ice somewhere but he decided to go and do it anyways. Transforming on the edge, he took off from the spot and tried to navigate his way through the wind as best as he could. While he was having difficulty moving through it, he transformed mid-air and landed where Torque was with a thud. "You alright?" He patted the side of Torque while watching the others make the descent.

Highstacker's eyes widened as Torque smahed to the ground. Without thinking, he half sumersalted, kicked out, and performed a sliding kick lightning fast to the bottom of the slope. He smiled at the dazed Torque. "You see, my friends... that is how you slickslope." He called to the bots at the top. "Come on down, nice and warm down here!" He began to check his new comrade over, making sure he wasn't to badly hurt.

Torque laughed as Wormhole and Highstacker made sure he was alright.
"I'm fine. I got an upgrade to my vehicle mode a while back. Practically indestructable, though a hard enough knock will send me offline for a while. I once made a jump from low orbit, I was offline for a good 20 solar cycles. Doc bots almost gave up on me."
Torque looked up the slope as Perceptor, Nexus and Smokescreen made their way down the slope. He turned to the other two bots he was with.
"Thanks anyway."

By the time he got down the hill, Perceptor took a good look at Torque. [glow=red,2,]'Seems all right, but still, I shall have to have a look at you and everyone else once were safe.'[/glow]

Highstacker stood up. "Which won't be for a while yet. We need to get across the open area between here and AA-233. Warm up your joints, because we need to move fast- the area is swarming with 'con troops, so we'll have to spread out and dodge across the flatlands under cover." He stretched a little- and stopped. "Who took my grenades after I disarmed myself?"

Smokescreen didn't even take the chance of his alternate mode, which was made for burning rubber across the flats of Cybertron, not treading ice plains.
Staying in robot mode, the Autobot sat down on the edge and eased himself over gently. It was a fairly smooth ride down on his back, slightly pitching at an angle onto his side at times, until his foot hit one of the small jutting rocks.. The jolt send him skidding round as he continued to fall, just one chance.. Retracting his hand, he extended a grappling hook and shot it at the small rock he'd hit. With a thunk, it's metal claws dug into the rock and tightened back at his harm sending him spinning back round so his back was towards the others - now coming down on his front.
As he straightened out, he retracted more of the wire to the hook and as he slid down on his front slowly began to rise to his feet as he skidded down the slope backwards, but at least fully upright! Carefully as he reached the bottom he re-positioned himself, maintaining more firmer ground and hit a button near his wrist. Automatically the metal hooks retracted as the grappling hook itself did towards Smokescreen.

Torque waited patiently as the rest of the Autobots decended the slope. He was actually quite glad of it. The crash he taken more out of him than he thought. His aim had become a little shakey. It would sort itself out in time, but if what Highstacker said was true, he'd probably need his aim to be perfect.
"Well, so far Nexus is the only one who hasn't made it down, so if he doesn't have your grenades, they are probably still up there. Unless any of you guys picked them up?"
Torque hoped that someone had picked up the grenades. Open spaces with lots of 'Cons. Torque was probably the only one with a chance of making it unharmed. And even then, only if his energon reserves lasted. Torque wandered over to where he came to a halt after his trip down the slope. Near the base of the slope was a nice imprint of the front of his vehicle mode. He winced slightly at seeing the depth of the imprint. No wonder he felt so sluggish.

Nexus landed gracefully in his chopper mode, transformed and sniffed at the ragbag collection of bumpkins he was ashamed to call his comrades. "Here are your ridiculous weapons, Highstacker. I hope that they're damaged, so that they might detonate and rid us of your pathetic presence. I'm glad to see you decided to attempt that suicidal slope. I, however, determined to retain my dignity." Highstacker looked at Nexus in a way that only someone who could have known someone for a very long time and suddenly understood them could. He stared at him in a way that implied he had no idea he was there. "You did what."

[glow=red,2,]'Just be content that you did not end up with Grimlock and those under his command Highstacker. Now then, lets roll out!'[/glow] Said Perceptor, once again trying to lighten the mood.

Torque looked around the valley they were all now stood in. As Highstacker said, it certainly was warmer. His joint were now no longer as stiff as what they were. He looked around some more, not knowing which way to go. He turned to the others.
"Perceptor is right, we should move out. Highstacker, lead the way."

Highstacker shook his head in disbelief. "You don't understand. He went above radar- and that means at least a battalion of Decepticons is currently diverging on our position." Nexus's face went pale, if such a thing is possible in a transformer. "Shall we run?"

Smokescreen, who by now would do anything to tell Nexus to "shut it", was starting to wonder id perhaps Highstacker was so brave after all?
Motioning towards Highstacker, Smokescreen pointed to the sky and then imitated a Decepticon air squadron coming down to attack before pointing to them and making a closed fist sign (we fight) and then making a fake gun with sis hands began shooting at the sky..*
*Translation: So what We stay, we fight!

Perceptor began to look about towards the sky in all directions, looking for any possible contacts. [glow=red,2,]'While I'd advice against it, due to the current conditions our bodies are in of course, if we must, then let us seek out some proper cover for defense!'[/glow]
Perceptor then turned about and gave Nexus a sharp glare with a raised index finger. [glow=red,2,]'As for you, no more out bursts or back talk. You of all Autobots, who has on occasion predicted Decepticon movement, should not have been so careless, especially since our new arrival warned us of them being in the area. Weapons and ammo check Autobots.'[/glow]
Perceptor knew he had two full charges on his handgun and two rockets left in his rocket launcher. His Light canon was extremely low from its original charge, those he could use his own internal energy from his own reserves, it would tax his systems greatly.

Wormhole stood straighter then before, and rested his hands over top of his midway point. "I'll draw their attention away from you all long enough for you to hide." He looked over them all, "I do believe with all of our combined efforts a diversionary tactic is needed."

Torque made a quick ammo check. He had 8 shots left for his sniper rifle, 3 spike nets and his Disruptor had 50% of its original charge, probably enough for another 10 shots. His power reserves for his Ghost ability were down to about 20%, so he'd be able to manage about 5 minutes**, 2 if he Ghosted someone else as well.
Torque looked through the scope on his sniper rifle, he still couldn't see any Decepticons. He lowered his sniper rifle and turned to the others.
"I say we get out of here, take cover and thenambush them when they turn up. Take them by surprise and we stand a chance. Maybe take a few of them offline as we do."
**((OOC: Not sure on the Cybertronian time measurement))
