"Just ol' Cricket." He said cheesily, looking around at his surroundings. His mind was foggy and confused, blunt and not as sharp as it once was when he had just woken up. It was spooky down here, and for some odd reason, Cricket found it midly amusing and intruiging. He loved it. The way the shadow smoved and danced around along with the echoing clacks of their feet and the sounds of their voices as they bounced back and forth against the tunnel walls was almost amusing to listen too.

"Ol' Clank here", replied the Junklion, "So that must mean BlazeStorm is behind me?"
"Right here" came the voice.
The mixed bunch of Transfopmers continued on in the dark, it was a long journey peppered with the rolecall, trying to make their way through the tunnels, hoping they wouldn't step on anything. All to often however they came across Transformers, especially Autobots , still in stasis lock and had to be careful and step over them.
"Those poor souls", muttered IceBlaster. Even the Decepticons that were in stasis lock, IceBlaster knew he should be grateful even thank-full; but he thought to himself that if this was the end - it was a terrible way to go out for any Transformer.
"It's feint but I think I see the rungs of a ladder, which much mean a hatchway to the outside world!", reported the Autobot slightly excitedly. "Of course we'd have to open it manually since it'll be sealed. And then, who knows what we'll find out there, or what state Cybertron is in.."

Cricket dared not look down at the faces, or even the bodies of the mechs that were offline. He did his best, and succeded with surprise, or stepping over them without causing a disturbance.
IceBlaster brought his little thoughts out of the blue and he seemed to burst with excitement over the discussion of a ladder. "A ladder?! Where?! I'll go up first if you want me too!" He said, incapable of holding back his excitement. His 'must live, survive' thoughts were pushed away and was replaced with his 'little kid, crazy' thoughts forced their way to dominate his brain for the moment. He tried looking around a head for this so called ladder that IceBlaster had mentioned without tripping, falling, running a head, or running into someone.

Blazestorm smirked. "I don't think a ladder will be necessary," she said. "If you have wings, you can reach it faster."
The femme then spread out her wings and flew upwards to the ladder. With her acute sensors, she managed to reach it without bumping into anything or making a wrong move. Her taloned feet latched onto its steps and her clawed hands reached up for the door. Her wings kept her steady and her tail firmly wrapped itself around the legs of the ladder.
Taking a deep breath, Blazestorm pushed in the hopes of getting the hatch to open up so that she and her comrades could escape. She didn't mind being trapped with them, but she was beginning to feel claustrophobic by being cooped up underground. It wasn't her fault because she was a flier, not a ground based Autobot.
"I think I've almost got it," she called down below. "Just give me a couple more kliks."

The hatchway moved slightly but with no power it was very heavy and inanimate.
"Keep the light on Blazestorm!", offered Iceblaster to the others, "Push Blazestorm, push!" Iceblaster felt useless without his tools, even they, some of which might of been useful in this situation, had been removed. The Autobot pondered that perhaps they would've been considered weapons also.
"I think I see a crack of light!", replied Clank enthusiastically.

Taking another deep breath, Blazestorm added all the muscle and power she had within her body, but the hatch just wouldn't budge. In her frustration, she let off an animal like snarl and hissed savagely. She wasn't going to get anywhere with this attitude, and growling and snarling wasn't going to get help her and the others at all.
Sighing, she stopped to catch her breath while thinking in order to find a way on how she was going to do this. She never really had much time to think these days because always spending most of her time fighting and killing those she deemed unworthy to live at all. Who was she to kid when she never really spent much time thinking at all?
"If only I had a bit more steam..." she mumbled to herself. Suddenly, it clicked. "Wait! More steam?" She tilted her head to one side and a small smile crossed her lips at the thought. "That's it!"
In her excitement at her sudden idea, she let off a small giggle, but quickly silenced herself. Still smiling, she turned to look down at the group below her. "This might sound a little crazy, guys," she said to them, "but I think I can get us out of here if I can transform into my alt form and use my flames to try and melt the hatch. It's a lot of effort, but if I generate enough heat from my flames, then it might be possible that it will make the metal softer, and easier to break."
She chewed her bottom lip. "That is... if my flames are still intact. They are a natural part of me, and I don't think they have been removed by whatever had caused that massive wave of light."

Cricket was disapointed that Blazestorm had beaten him to the hatch. He frowned, folding his arms acorss his chest with a heavy 'huff' in displeasure. he wanted to do it. If Blazestorm wanted to open the hatch, then fine! She could do so if she wanted!
Cricket watched for a while, watched her try to open the way up. He tilted a head up at Blazestorm. "Or it could also melt the metal in place.. it could seal it off instead of undoing it... like a blacksmith's work..." He blurted out, the smarter side of him taking advantage of the brain for the moment.

After transforming Blazestorm tried to conjure up some flames to melt the metal, a small little burst of flames emitted before turning into pure black puff of smoke. When she tried again it just came out as smoke like her powers were being inhibited for some reason.
"Bang goes that idea then", mumbled Iceblaster, "Transform back and see if you can give it one more push Blazestorm!"

With one final push Blazestorm pushed back the cover but as soon as she did she was grabbed from above. Only the sound of a deathly scream followed..
"Blazestorm!", cried IceBlaster and hurtled up the ladder behind her with Cricket and Clank just behind.
