Many Mega-cycles passed as the combined team of Autobots and Decepticons waded their way through the thick jungle, those that could - hacking their way and forging a path through the heavily vegetation and deeply wooded area. Encountering strange alien wildlife on the way, Magnus had to stop Tyrannodon a good few times from blasting then away - leading to more arguments and bickering amongst the entire group.
Out of all of them however, Cricket had been the only one who had managed to keep her spirits up and enjoyed the journey through the deep undergrowth.Vastly tired and with morale at a huge log the vegatation had slowly become less thick as they reached the outskirts of the jungle. "I'm picking up a structure!", declared Quickshot.
For the last leg of the journey Air Raid, though still not at full capacity had been able to walk with the rest of the group as they left the fringe of the exotic jungle. There before them lie a great long road between deep forest leading al; the way up to a huge shimmering gold pyramid. Low on Energon, they had no choice but to continue down the road by foot, eventually reaching a great open doorway embedded at the base of the pyramid, but there was no door, only a door shaped hole leading in...

Retroblazer looked up at the pyramid, his eyes wide. "Well, I guess we can asume this planet supports sentinent life, or perhaps once did. What are we to make of it?" He looked over at Air Raid. "And as for you... you make the whole thing even stranger. How did you get here? When Primus placed us back on Cybertron, he said that much time had passed. Do you remember anything that happened I'm going to kill you all in that time?"

Air Raid had been literally on auto-pilot, once he could walk... he could hear but not respond... He had a short circuit everytime his vocal processors tried to initialize. They finally did initialize, as his programming found an alternate pathway.
He finally spoke, but it was odd... It appeared noone understood him... "Where are we... and what are you talking about?" he tried asking
He was speaking in a much older Cybertronian... From when he had served under Optimus Prime.

Quickshot look over at Airraid
"Something is up. He is speaking old Cybertronian. I can read the old stuff, but can't speak it. I have no idea what he is saying."

"He's confused", replied Magnus as he turned to face Air Raid and the others, "We're on a planet far from Cybertron Air Raid. Our homeplanet was encased in energy domes after our commander was vapourized by the new nucleon generator. As we struggled to surive the the energy began appearing underground and infiltrated Autobot Headquarters..."
"And underground tunnels!", interrupted Tyrannodon.
"You tried to interveine and were also taken by the energy force - in short we thought you were dead. Until we were led here. Primus had already taken us out space and time as Cybertron was enveloped, throwing us back without our weapons and powers and unleashing an army of the dead as punshiment for millions of years of warfare. Cities all across Cybertron crumbled, we had to flee with our lives.."
"And with us", interupted Tyrannodon again, "Not a choice I agree with but Cybertron was on the brink of extintion..."
"POSSIBLE extinction Tyrannodon!", snapped Magnus, "We don't know what happened to Cybertron! Our ship was taken across time and space, to here. We travelled for many eons until we came across a great ice cave - that's where we found you, but how or why you got there we have no idea...
Does any of this sound familiar? Just how much do you remember Air Raid?"
The inside of the temple was filled with a mass of golden stairs that filled the temple, the rest of inside of the building was empty and dusty, an old an decaying room of an ancient time gone by...

It took a minute for Air Raid to process the information.
A spark flew out of his neck.
"Memory... fragmented... The last thing I remember... " he said. He was trying to go through his memory, some were damaged by the cold, which with the proper tools, could have been fixed allowing acces to his full memory.
"It's patchy... but I remember Iacon... the generator..." he squints to remember... "I can't tell you how I got here... I remember the light, then very very cold..." he said
"I can remember my past, but nothing too detailed about the present..." he added, then paused...
He was looking in the direction of Vorja and Tyrannadon... He knew them... they were familiar, but he could not place a name... he knew Magnus though, and was grateful for his translating abilities.

A great booming voice interrupted them as they stood at the base of the stairs inside the pyramid, making them all jerk back in reaction..
"WELCOME TRAVELLERS! YOU HAVE COME FAR ACROSS TIME AND SPACE, I AM THE KEEPER! COME JOIN ME IN MY THRONE ROOM, I MEAN YOU NO HARM ND OFFER SANTUARY IN YOUR TIME OF NEED!!", boomed the voice, echoing throughout the temple.

Quickshot shook his head
"Why do these things always have loud, thunderous voices?"

Retroblazer laughed. "There you have me, I hate you all Quickshot. Well, any hand of friendship right about now is a blessing. Shall we go in?"

Lord Tyrannodon smugly raised his arm to the first set of stairs, made entirely out of the same material as the shell of the pyramid, a light dusty brick, almost golden in colour. As they gathered near the bottom of the first staircase, Magnus looked towards Air Raid who simply nodded back as if to say "It's okay, I can manage it"
The troup found the stair wound around from one to another, spiralling up and up with only the wall of support under the stairs keeping it up. No railings or handle bars lined the stairs, just steps making the journey up exceeedingly dangerous. Occasionally edges of the stairways crumbled barely supporting the larger bots in their half - wrecked state. For the best part of a cycle they travelled endlessly upwards on the seemingly never ending stairway until they finally reached the top, of which, led onto a great golden corridor with rocky mountains but similar to that of the outside of the pyramid. Great mosaics lined the golden flow in a tapestry of artwork denoting some very unusual history. At the end of the corridor two great door, gold with jewel encrusted decoration lined the end of the journey..
"WELCOME! PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID", came the voice again, "I MEAN YOU NO HARM! YOU MAY ENTER AT YOUR LEISURE!"
The team of Autobots and Decepticons looked to one other before Magnus turned back and pushed the great doors open, leading into a magnificent throne room draped in more gold. Everything was draped in a lagoon of golden luxury, the floor, the walls, the furniture, even the magnificent grand stair case which lead up to a throne area. As they reached halfway across the floor towards the stairs, the voice retuned.
"THAT IS FAR ENOUGH. I UNDERSTAND IF YOU HAVE MANY QUESTIONS, BUT FIRST I OFFER A GIFT, TO SHOW I BEAR NO ILL FEELING OR MALICE TOWARDS YOU. WHO SHALL COME FORTH AND RECEIVE THIS GIFT?", boomed the voice. From what they could see the figure was quite tall and draped head to to in a cloak with a hood, obscuring itself. Even the face was obscured with only the hands occasionally visible, and they were too far away to determine what race the being was.

Air Raid turned to Magnus.
"I will go... withough proper repair I will be a burden on the group if you are gone." he said in the old cybertronian he was still speaking.
He waited for Magnus to respond.

Magnus simply nodded before the figuredhead of the temple spoke again.
"Step closer young one", summoned the Keeper.
Air Raid walked forward to the very bottom of the steps, slowly the keeper rose his arms up, suddenly from his arms an electric blue electricity/energy shot out from the palms of his hands, completey encasing the Autobot. Quickshot launched forward but was quickly stopped by Magnus.
"He could be killing him for all we know!"
"Then he's dead already, and you'd be next!", spat Magnus.
For Air Raid it was far from a death summon, as he stood encased in the energy he felt a strange tingling in his vocal circuits, his slight wounds began to heal and a strange sense of what had happened on Cybertron slowly began to return. In fact Air Raid was not only feeling pretty good, he was starting to feel better than he had in deca-cycles..
Slowly the blue light of energy ceased as Air Raid fell to his knees..

Air Raid felt a sort of odd static slowly going away.
His memory had returned and he had seen what had become of his beloved Cybertron... and why it happenned... but not what happened to everyone.
"Magnus..." he said in current Cybertronian "Why did Primus do that?" he asked, slowly standing up.

Quickshot was pleased to see that Air Raid had not only been okay, but healed.
"Trust me, it is a question we have all asked..."

Retroblazer looked up at the cloaked figure. "Your help in healing our friend is much appreciated, Keeper. But There are many things you have left unawnsered. Where are we? Who are you? And why... why did you call us time travellers?"
<<WARNING: DOMINANCE MODE REACHING CRITICAL STATUS. CONTINUED USAGE OF OVERRIDE MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF SPARK>> The warning message was heard by every bot in the chamber.
You can't win. You never could back then, and you certainly can't now. I can try. I don't fear death after all the things I've seen. Your weak, Retroblazer. Darkk knew it, Disgrace knew it. Even Peregrine knew it. And now you're all alone... except for me. And I'm getting tired of brain sharing...
The faceless bot looked around, to his friends, to Blastback, who had always had faith in him. Who he had always pushed away. He knew he didn't have much time left. He spoke slowly to the young bot. "I don't know if I'll make it back this time, Blastback. If needs be... kill me. It's the only way. Do you understand?"
