"My night's not too bad" Metalingus responded to Deadbolt as he looked at his. He looked up when deadbolt mentioned someone was joining the table. He too recognised the loud mech claiming the chair as "Pointblank" from the files back at HQ.
"But I think it's gonna get more interesting" he replies to Deadbolt hoping he would catch on in regards to Pointblank.

"Good, I like it when things get interesting." Deadbolt said to Metalingus.
Deadbolt remained in his seat. He looked at Pointblank.
"Who exactly is your boss then? Because I can't say I've ever seen you, so I can't know who your boss is just by looking at you."
D-Fib was astounded by what Omnitron had told her.
"Shiny! I didn't realise Space Bridge technology had been advanced so far. I very much look forward to seeing what else has been advanced and not publically announced."

Pointblank just stared at Deadbolt as if he was stunned. He continued to stand still as he spoke while a smaller robot, minicon size walked up to him. 'Atlas is almost here, ain't this his table? Why ain't it cleared of these tin=plated losers Pointblank?'
'I was just getting to that Blastmaster. Shut up already! Now if you leadfoot fools ain't cleared out of her in a half of a astro-second, there's gonna be trouble.'
Incognito realized what was going on and stepped in. 'Of course, of course we knew that this is Atlas' table.'
'Say again?.'
Incognito realized what was going on and stepped in. 'Me and my friend's here were all looking for the best of the best. And we were told that Atlas is a high stakes player when it comes to gambling. So naturally we'd meet him at his own table not to miss him.'
'Is that so? So your just a bunch of tools looking to get all your shanix taken, is that it? I'm not so sure the boss is gonna be happy to play with ya'll. Not like you made an appointment, he's a busy mech after all.'
Incognito pushed his play a bit further and brought out a large amount of casino credits. 'Shanix talks and the slag can walk. Me and my friends got a lot to lose. Question is, is your boss mech enough to play us?'
Just as Incognito finished, in walked a slim robot with blue and white markings. He eyed up each Renegade as he stood his ground and then looked at Pointblank. The Renegades would recognize him as Neuroblade. And then from behind Neuroblade came the robot everyone was looking for, Atlas. Tall, seemly powerful, Atlas walked in with the grace of a commander, demanding everyone's optics to look at him. 'Now this is something different. Pointblank, who are these fine mechs? I did not realize that we were meeting anyone today.'
Above Cybertron, in orbit....
Incendius' voice was heard through out the ship after Omnitron had contacted him.
++COMM++ "Progress... being made, sir. We're under heavy fire from a group of Stinger's friends wearing some kind of insignia, and I've got some of the team subduing the mark. Nothing else to report. Over and out." ++END COMM++
'Over and out?! By Shockwave's eye! You don't over and out command when in a fire fight! Computic! Get me video surveillance of the area right now and get Incendius back on this minute! Go to yellow alert!'
'Yes commander!' Computic began to use Autobot spy spies to find the location of the Renegades and to watch their progress. In a matter of seconds, the screens of the ship were full of the battle being fought down below.

Deadbolt rose from his seat when Atlas spoke. He was taken aback slightly by how polite Atlas was.
"Pleasure to meet you. We're just a small group of business agents looking to have a good time and do a spot of gambling. We were informed that if we wanted to gamble, we should try our luck against you, to play the best of the best." Deadbolt said, stroking Atlas' ego. "Of course, we understand you're likely to be busy and unable to join us in a quick game or two. But, being a big business-bot yourself, you should know that you don't get anywhere without cutting straight to the point."
D-Fib moved closer to Computic and Omnitron. For once, she decided to keep quiet when she saw how displeased Omnitron was. That was until she saw what was on the screens.
"Holy slag heaps! It's almost like a warzone down there!"
She quickly scoured the images, picking out the Renegades and checking to see if any of them were injured.
"I can't tell, do any of them look seriously injured? The femmebot down there looked a little dizzy, but nothing too serious, and the big green bot took a couple of knocks, but does look like it affected him. And what about that bot who took a hit, erm, Incendius, think he's ok?" She asked, still looking at the images, trying to decern if any of them needed her assistance.

Hardstrike felt understandably anxious and wondered just how far down the central core they had thrown themselves. Incognito talked the talk, and walked it, but right now Hardstrike sure hoped the bot really could back up those words with action. He tried to relax and show nothing, even though he wanted to go for his gun, but that would blow the entire operation, and he couldn't help but wonder where this was going..

In Space......
Computic noticed that Omnitron turned his back to the control consoles for a moment, he then turned to D-Fib. 'Incendius is tough and can handle himself, though he might throw himself in the path of unnessasary harm. So for the others, not so sure. And as for Incendius, despite what Omnitron says I'm not going to get him on the wireless for now, he has enough problems at the moment. Thats between me and you, can I trust you?'
Just as Comuptic asked his question, he saw Stinger activate his rocket boosters and speed away from Driveby and Tomboy. The target turned down an alley way, transformed and entered a small building. +++COM+++'Driveby, Tomboy! Target has entered a building. Sending coordinates to you and the team.'+++COM+++
Atlas approached the table and waved Neuroblade and Pointblank away as he took his usual seat. 'Well indeed. You have come looking for the best and you have found him. All in jest of course! Greetings, my name is Atlas but you already know that of course. And it would be a pleasure to challenge you to a game. House rules? Or do you have a game in mind?'
'Master, if you excuse me. I must get back to the transport as some business that needs attending to.'
'Yes of course, Pointblank and Blastmaster will remain and perhaps join us in a game with our new friends. Oh, how rude of me, I didn't get your names.'
(OOC: The choice to gamble with Atlas or to follow Neuroblade to see what he is up to is yours)

Deadbolt smiled as Atlas sat down.
"House rules suits me fine. The name's Deadbolt."
He immediately regretted using his real name, thinking maybe he should have used an alias. He looked around to see if anyone else was going to join the game.
D-Fib gave Computic a wink.
"Sure thing."
She looked back at the screens, watching Stinger hide, Tomboy and Driveby pursuing him and Roadtrain, Onix and Incendius catching up.

Hypershot was feeling awkward but thought it to be a good time to try his hand at this stealth business and what better a place to learn than on the job. And what better to start with than leaving the end of his name off
"I'm Hyper" He said. moving to sit down next to Deadbolt.

'And indeed you are! How amusing, all right gentlemechs, lets begin.'
Metalingus, Deadbolt and Hypershot sat with Atlas as the regular of the club got settled and then placed an id chip into the table. The table began to glow and out appeared a holographic image of a robot, who was the table dealer. 'THE GAME SELECTED IS "CHANCE DELUXE" Said the dealer in a monotone voice.
The game was called Chance Deluxe. Known as one of the highest stakes game across Cybertron, where each card is divided up into two values, ranging between one and ten. Cards are placed into the middle of the table, usually in a single filed line or on top of each other, and the value of one of the sides had to be met with another value of either a higher or lower value by one point. A eight could be matched by a seven or a nine but not by another eight. Values were not allowed to match. Unless they had a matching symbol, a value of 8 could be match to another value of 8 if they both had similar symbols The only matchings allowed were with symbols.
Some cards had symbols on them with a value on the other half. There were four symbols all together. A sun, a gem, a spark (as in a Transformer's soul) and a energy cube. With only three of each symbol, these were the key in winning a game.
A player could play a card with a symbol and block the game and win it if no one else had a symbol to match. If a spark was played, then only a card with a spark to match it could keep the game moving. The game was simple enough with the true strategy coming from players who wished to play their hand or even hold back on a turn. They could keep there cards to themselves but only once every rotation.
If a player couldn't make a play after he had given up a turn, he took an extra card. The first player who ran out of cards or had the least amount of points their hand of cards added up to, was the winner and took a share of the pot. To buy into the game a player had to put ten thousand shanix up front and slowly the winnings went to the one who played the winning hand. Sometimes a round wouldn't last very long. After twenty rounds, the tournament was over and players would take whatever winnings they had earn with them or they could buy back in to the game.
As the dealer gave each player their cards, Atlas asked the players at the table. 'The highest stakes game in the galaxy. I hope your ready?'
Incognito tossed Deadbolt all the credits he had pulled out earlier. 'Thats what I owed ya from our last game Deadbolt, so I'm out. Have fun, me and my buddy here gonna have a look at the view on the top floor, I've heard it's the thing to see. C'mon bigbot!'
Incognito motioned for Hardstrike to follow him.

Deadbolt bought himself, Metalingus and Hypershot into the game. He smiled again as the cards got dealt out.
"I don't usually get to play this game. Nobody seems to want to play against me. I'm either too good, too lucky, or the bots I usually play are bad players. Or a mixture of the three. I guess we'll see which."

Atlas chuckled. He seemed to actually be enjoying himself like a true gentlemech while Pointblank looked on with a smug, mean expression. 'Well, I suppose we shall see what happens when you put one good player against a phenomenal one. I too fine it hard to find a challenge, even though I force in to the game.' Atlas laughed again as the first of the cards began to come down on to the table.
Pointblank, who was standing behind Atlas and sometimes looking around the room as if he was bored, asked the undercover Renegades what it was they they did. 'So your business? You never told us what it was that you high roller do for a living.'
'Something, we can't explain... too well. I mean, science.' Metalingus spat out the response and regretted doing so as soon as he did. Its sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about.
Pointblank asked. 'Science? Care to come again?'
'Were investors. We run several independent laboratories. We mainly employ scientists for research and development. And anything they invent we sell.'
'Fascinating! What might your company have developed that we know about?' Atlas sounded general interested. And even though he was now concentrating on Metalingus, he still managed to play the winning card of the first round.
'Not really at liberty to say. You know how it is, company secrets.'
'Ahh. Thats what you meant by we can't explain. Pity. Well gentlemechs as you may or may not, I run the Omega Agency in Omega city. Perhaps you've heard about it?'
The second round of Chance Deluxe had begun with Atlas in the lead. The next round of cards were dealt to each player and the game continued.

Hardstrike began to follow Incognito, with the banter that was going on around the table he figured they wouldn't be notice or missed. His mind turned to Neuroblade who had just left, if they were quick perhaps they would see which direction he went.
"You think it's wise to leave them on there own?", asked the Renegade cadet.

'We gotta trust them Hardstrke. If me and you can trust a crazy like Incendius and a nerd like Computic to save our tailpipes then we can place our caboose in much saner hands. Besides, its just a card game. Its not like they have to win. Look!'
As the two came to a corner, they caught a glimpse of Neuroblade making his way towards a lift. With the bodyguard's back to the pair of Renegades, he didn't see that he was being followed.
Orbiting Cybertron...
'Scans are unable to pick up target's location inside the building. The structure is made from steel to dense to get a reading. The others are on their way, ETA 2 astro-minutes.' On the edge of their seats, Computic and D-Fib were watching the action from above. Computic was ecstatic. While finer intellectual actives entertained him, he found himself in his zone as he watched and help direct the action from above. But of course, he also could of been slightly more excited since the lovely D-Fib had winked at him when she answered his question.
Omnitron came back on to the small bridge. 'Space bridge link is prepped. D-Fib get ready. I'm sending down D-stroy and Funcrusher down with you for support. Hang back of the action unless your needed to do patch work. Computic get Incendius back on the comlink.'
'His comlink is down sir, all I'm getting is static but I can talk with the rest of the team. Shall I contact Roadtrain, he's next down the line of command.'
'Nnn! Negative, we'll just let them deal with it as it plays out. Contact Hardstrike's team, they need to report in.'
Back at the Skytoucher Palace....
Hardstrike's internal comlink softly beeped, indicating that someone was trying to call him.

Deadbolt sat quietly, looking thoughtfully at his cards. He actually had a surprisingly good hand, but he was attempting to bluff Atlas.
"Omega Agency? Yes...I've heard of it, though I've been off-world alot lately, so I can't say I know an awful lot." He replied.
"Other than that it's a complete front" He thought to himself, still looking at his cards.
D-Fib let out a small squeal and lept up out of her seat and saluted enthusiastically.
"Yes sir!"
With that, D-Fib made for the Space Bridge. She the froze.
"What should I do when we reach the surface, sir? Meet up with Incendius and the other two, then procede to Stinger's location with them and set up an Evac point?" She asked.

'Stay out of harms way unless needed! I don't need you getting your head blown off! Remember your training and get going!'
With a finger pointing in the direction where Omnitron wanted D-Fin to go, she saw D-stroy and Funcrusher runnin down a hallway towards the teleportation center.
Skytoucher Palace....
Atlas skipped a turn. 'Off world you say? May I ask doing what? My life is so boring its interesting to hear about what's going on in the galaxy. The most I hear about what's going on off Cybertron is related to a couple of minor investments I've made. Small stuff really....'
