Roadtrain looked at the burn mark on his helmet as he half listened to Latyrx7. The first time he'd been in command in over 10 million years, and he'd screwed up again. He wondered if he was fit to lead in the first place.
D-Fib moved back over to Hypershot and gave him a slight nudge before whispering to him very quietly.
"Stand up straight, Omnitron is already on the warpath, slouching is only an excuse to chew you out."
Deadbolt remained quiet as he listened to everything that was going on. He felt bad for Roadtrain, he'd made a call which may have been the wrong one. He was curious to hear about the link between Incendius and Phasmatis.

Onix straightened up
"With all due respect, sirs, Even had we been able to get an angle on Stinger to take him down he would have had more time to pull off more shots than three, plus if he simply aimed for Roatrain's neck there would be a totally different outcome. And then there is still that fact that even if Roadtrain was okay and we did take Stinger down there was a high likely hood that the building would still have came down before we could move him away safely. Bringing in the ship would have been to dangerous, and then D-Fib, Tomboy and Indincius may have been caught in the collapse as well and the elevator would have been far to dangerous to use. None of these guarantee Stinger survival anymore than what we did."

Hypershot rolled his optics and pulled a face but knew that D-Fib was right and stood himself up again. But he asured himself that he was doing it because he wanted to and not because he was afraid of Omnitron.

Addressing Onix, 'And your file reports that you like to ignore the facts and make up your own, The building wasn't that unstable. Your explosives leveled the foundation. There is no justifying one deadly course of action over another, especially at the cost of the mission. Now are you going to make excuses all day or do you want another crack at Atlas? But before that, we have to deal with the Incendius and Phasmatis situation.'

Incendius took a deep breath, nodded briskly at Latryx7 and turned to his friends and comrades. He decided that it was best to get on with it- Latryx was right, they deserved the truth. "Shut up, Onix. Do you argue for the sake of arguing? You guys want the truth? Phasmatis does have control over me. He says 'jump', I say 'How high?'. He says 'Jump off a cliff', I book the first ticket to the Sonic Canyons. But I will never, NEVER kill for him. I'm not a drone. I'm not a puppet. I have a mind, and no matter how crazy he makes me, I'll use it to fight him. I will never spill the blood of my friends. Phasmatis has driven me to this before- broke into the mines where I worked and tried to kill me there. Know what I did? I blew up the mine and spent three solar cycles in Pit. I will never kill in his name again. Especially not the people I consider comrades. ... Anyone who doesn't trust me, and to be honest, I don't blame you, please, let me know."

"We wanted details"added Hoist, "Why does he have control over you? Why? To what extent? You're not going anywhere until you fully explain. So, you want to try again?"
Hoist moved closer in towards Incendius "It's all very noble you see. But if we scrapped him, what would happen to you? Would you be free or a drooling mechanoid for the rest of your life? One who looks like he's spent too much time at MacAddam's old Oil bar..."

Onix growled but kept his mouth shut. If this was a bar there would be a stool in the back of Incindius's head.

Hypershot stood quietly. His attention caught by the interesting new conversation that had begun.
This truth thing with Indendius sounded complicated. He was anxious to find out how it all began. How they met? What had happened to give this Phasmantis guy control over Incendius?
But he kept his mouth clamped shut despite wanting to blurt out these questions. Hypershot thought best to leave it up to the elders to deal with it. After all, they seemed just as curious as he did.

Incendius shook his head. "I don't know. I'm not even sure Phasmatis does. No one has ever been able to separate from my people before- but I suppose he already told something of us, huh? Were the words 'terrorist' and 'insane' used? I bet they were." He cocked his head inquisitively.

"Stop avoiding the question Incendius!", protested Hoist, "You must know! If you don't he must! But I don't buy that for a second. The more time you waste with excuses, the more time we waste. If it wasn't for the fact he has so much control over you I'd lock you up in the cells with him. But I and Latryx can afford to have you anywhere near each other, not even the same level the same vicinity."
Hoist bend right over* and went face to with Incendius, staring at him optic to optic and wasn't about to let up. What was this bot hiding? And why? "TELL ME INCENDIUS!", growled Hoist, still calm but his voice rising like Computric only moments ago.
OOC:*Either he's much bigger than incendius or Incendius is sitting down, take that as you will!

Metalingus stood amongst his comrades listening on them quiz Incidius. He was worried about Hardstrike and Incognito and eager to learn if there was any word on them

Latyrx7 took a step to the side so that Incendius could see his face. 'Explain by what you mean by your people Incendius. Phasmatis, among hurling insults, didn't make much sense when we asked him a few questions. If you can tell us that, we can get to the bottom of this much faster.'

Incendius' face contorted into an ugly snarl. "Get... out of... my... face, Hoist." He stepped back a little, not breaking eye contact with the bigger bot for a second. "My people, Latryx7? Some call us the Order of Elements. And we've been around a hell of alot longer than you have. I am the seven hundred and fifty fourth Incendius to serve their slave regime- and the last, hopefully. Phasmatis is the latest of their hunters to try and bring me back to their home, The Hive... it is a title awarded to the greatest of assassins. In some ways, I'm flattered. In other ways, I'm terrified of his control over me. If there is still some connection between me and The Order, then they know exactly where I am and what I'm doing. It's all down to the connection, see. An intricate web of information sharing, a single mind with many hands. Total control is the watchword of the Hive: a universal and ultimate goal of survival, control, and observation. Incendius 754... I... am the first hand to come loose. I don't know how it happened. The Hive doesn't, or they wouldnt've sent Phasmatis, so he definitely doesn't know. So you see Hoist... this is as new to me as it is to you." [/b]

Onix laughed outloud and took his weight off the wall and stepped forward towards the conversation.
"And I'm accused of fantastical stories of my own delusion. This is great stuff. Lets just line these two behind the smelting pool and wash our hands of them. Dispose of them like we would any Decepticon or traitor."

Roadtrain growled.
"Onix, stow it. Incendius isn't a traitor, and he's not done anything willingly against us. Nor is he like a Decepticon. Trust me, I've had more than enough dealings with them, I know what I'm talking about. It's Phasmatis we can't trust. I haven't trusted him since what he did to Tomboy."
He turned to Incendius.
"As I said, I don't trust Phasmatis in the least. Unfortunately, while he still has influence over you, I can't trust you 100 per cent. You're a good soldier, but you could end up being a danger to all of us in some way if Phasmatis were to take control again."
