D-Fib let out a small groan as she got yet another research request. She was typing with blistering speed trying to come up with all the information she was asked for.

Onix shook his head
"Never said we hit them one at a time. The power grid stuff work for distractions to get us primed for our real hit."

Latyrx7 turned to Onix and crossed his arms. 'Real hit? Your just ready to get out there and cause some trouble aren't you Onix?'

Onix laughed
"You think cutting some power-lines and tampering with traffic signals is going to send Atlas into desperation? They'll eventually find the source of the problem, whether it be a cut line or someone tapping into data streams, the second possibly easier than the first. Blow something up, then they might get desperate. I'm just offering up my honest opinions, nothing more."

Roadtrain growled.
"Onix, that's the point. We cause some blackouts and other disruptions, then get out of there. The OCP find the cause of it, with us long gone, then we go on to cause another distraction. This mission isn't to go on the offensive, it's to cause distractions for Atlas. Combat will be a last resort on this mission. Understood?"

'Watch your tone Onix!' Yelled Omnitron before Latyrx7 raised his hand for silence.
'Here's something that I'm sure will make you smile behind that face plate of yours. New MO Renegades, no explosives are to be used on this mission.'

Onix put his hands up at shoulder height
"I'm just making suggestions. I do what I'm ordered to in the end. My definition of trouble just isn't as mild as the rest of you apparently. I do specialize in blowing things up after all. It's hardwired into my circuits."
Onix shrugged then crossed his arms
"I have a good question. What do we say if we get caught?"

Hypershot heard D-Fib groan and glanced over at her whilst he was typing.
"They really need this info fast don't they."

D-Fib stopped typing and closed her optics for a couple of astro-seconds while she re-focused herself. She opened her optics and continued typing furiously.
"Always best to get this sort of thing done quickly. I just wish they'd give us more time between each request."
She continued typing.
"Damn it Roadtrain, I'm a medic, not a researcher." She muttered to herself. "How are things your end Hypershot?"

Tomboy looked at Onix and answered his question. 'Tell'em your Onix Prime!'
Tomboy began to laugh as others did. Omnitron looked at Latyrx7, expecting him to say something but saw the Renegade elder hold back a smile. 'We'll give you a cover. Name and all, understood?'

"Not bad, not bad." He muttered. "We all have to do our bit. Even if we're not used to it."
He continued typeing as fast as he could, trying to keep up with D-Fib but failing miserably.
He laughed "I don't think I've ever seen anyone type that fast"

Roadtrain nodded as he listened to Incendius. "Sounds good. We'll keep the blackouts though. If one of us can tap into the control system, we can keep flicking the power on and off in certain areas, should keep some members of the OCP busy. We will be going for the factories, but only after we've caused a diversion or two."
Incendius turned to Onix. He'd been listening the altercation between Latryx, Roadtrain and the demo expert, and he felt he could come up with a solution. "I hear what you're saying, Onix, but heading straight for the supply lines seems a bit... unwieldy. Doesn't it make sense to soften them up a bit before 'dropping the big one'?"He then returned his attention to Roadtrain. "My friend, don't get me wrong about blackouts. I'm a great fan of blackouts. But maybe we should think about the civilians in Omega City. Knocking out everything at once is likely to cause more than panic, it's likely to cause a system population wide meltdown, which could hinder our progress. A possible solution is to take out targets in waves, separating them into the Mouth, the Eye and the Foot. Communications, Surveillance, and Transport. Taking these targets out systematically and in unpredictable waves could prevent collateral intervention as we're trying to stir up trouble with guards and Atlas's goons."

Metalingus was with his team chatting to the newcomers and talking about the mission. He had a thought and mentioned it to the elders
"Sirs, I had a thought. If we are indeed going into the proverbial lion's den to see Atlas, he's probably gonna have top notch security, scanners and the like for intruders. Is there a way we could rig up something on our weapons to stop any scanners they have."

"I agree with screw-loose", pipped in Driveby, "Take out their systems one by one - Communications, Surveillance, and Transport. If Atlas has any shipments, supplies or de;liveries, he'll notice. Softly softly, catchy monkey - whatever that is."
"Go in there, make too much noise, too soon, you attract too much attention. You might not be able to control your destructive impulses Onix, but sometimes in situations like these you need a little finese. There's not exactly a need to get everything done within a first few astroseconds is there?"

Onix rubbed his hand on his face
"I never said not to do the small stuff to get us started and make it easier to hit something bigger. I'm just saying that we can't just stick to the small stuff the whole time. Eventually something big needs to happen, and it needs to happen in a well coordinated way so that it sends out just the right message to get what we are going for."
