  Although largely descolate and vast, it is possible to be very far apart and nor see one another. Long snake like paths wind in all directions, and every so often a huge giant tree can be found in some sort of ring formation in the ground, natural made or has someone been here long ago? The wind can blow long, cold and hard through this area, and with the trees being so spread out it doesn't have much mercy. |

The Maximal Peace-Keeping Corps and their ship, the Intrepid finally entered the local system where the planet Galia lie. It had been a long and uneventful journey but as last they had arrived.
"DInoboss, punch up a scan of the local area. What do your co-ordinates tell you? Is this the place?", requested the Cybertron leader

Grunt kept the long range sensors focused for any hostile activity on the surface of the planet while keeping an optic open for a attack from behind the ship.

Grunt decided to have a view of the ground. He logged into one of the ship's outside cameras to have a look. [glow=WHITE,2,] CAMERA #24

[/glow] The grizzly old vet realized that if the entire planet was like this area, that any open ground combat would prove difficult as there wasn't much in the way of cover. The ship and its crew would be an easy target in any battle and the ship would not be easily hidden from the sight of possible hostile contacts. |

Reaper saw what Grunt had brought up on the screen. He didn't like the wide open spaces. Open spaces made his work too hard, less places to hide. Reaper turned back to his console and tapped in a couple of commands.
"Sir, the planet is almost completely organic." He reported to Noble Convoy.

"Organic, yet highly advanced if that moon was any indication", reasoned Convoy..
Before they could answer that train of thought, the moonbase had sent an automated signal to the defenses on the neighbouring planet. From what initially looked like sacred ruins in the Old City to the casual observer, came a palithera of planetary defenses that opened up from tombs and ancient relics that moved and opened up a host of rockets and heavy plasma laser fire that rocketed up from another part of the planet below, catching them on their alternate side to the right as it shook their ship and bombarded them with fire...
"Dinoboss damage report!", yelled the commanded, "Where the slag did that come from?! Don't they know we're expected?!"

the hull is holding but Primus only knows for how long

OOC: Moving things on a bit. Another barrage of shots continued to pelt the ship blowing holes into the shields before they finally collapsed allowing the assault to start to blow holes in the ship. "Do not fire back Dinoboss, that's an order!", yelled Convoy as the ship began to nose dive. Glitch growled inexplicably, "Grrr, we're going to DIE Convoy! Do something!", snarled the bot. "Everyone to the escape pods!", ordered Convoy! "Clear the bridge!" Every Cybertron on board left their station and headed for door, Glitch was first through followed by Torrent, then Dinoboss, Reaper and Metalingus. Grunt and Convoy followed. As the others disappeared, Grunt stopped at the doorway and turned back seeing that Noble had in fact not moved only giving the impression he was. Before Grunt to deplore concern Noble Convoy cut him short. "Go, my place is with the ship", soothed the commander, "I'll try and land her best I can in one piece... No arguments! Get moving! And Grunt, look after them! Hopefully we'll all meet up again planet-side!" Grunt nodded and disappeared through the door after his comrades as the commander of the Cybertron team sat back at the controls and began to pull up hard... As the ship loomed overhead of the forest, the escape capsuled ejected into space landing all across different regions of the forest in different trajectories. Grunt fell miles east of Glitch and Metalingus 's pods, falling first hitting an area before the forest in a yellow-brown rugged area before the forest i the distance (South west of moon river with the ancient graveyard north-north west of him.) Whilst Glitch and Metalingus landed within distance of each other on the outskirts of the forest. Torrent was the only one who landed smack bang in the center of the forest whilst Reaper landed within the edge of the forest near the Old City (thread.)... OOC: Glitch, Metalingus will be continuing in the Valley Of the Trees thread. Grunt, please continue in Moon River thread Dinoboss please continue in the Ancient Graveyard thread Torrent please join the Forest thread. Reaper if you decide to go into the forest, please join the Forest Thread. If you venture into the town you see through the trees, please continue in the Old City thread. And hopefully you'll all meet again and have gotten your beast modes!  |

Glitch and Metalingus's pods came down hard on the outskirts of the Valley of the trees, ploughing hard towards the planet and embedding themselves well. For these two Cybertrons, the descent had been smooth, although actually landing itself was always an uncomfortable experience. Slowly Inside their pods the two Cybertrons began to stir, their safety lights turning green, indicating it was safe to exit.
Metalingus was first out, and after a bit of rocking back and forth, the door too Glitch's pod went flying across the grassland revealing Glitches leg as he had kicked it open.
"Well looks like we're here", enthused Metalingus.
Glitch growled, "Grrr And just my luck to end up with you! So were exactly IS here?", asked the bot as he rubbed his head.
"Galia, but I've never heard or encountered this planet before", replied Metalingus as he looked around. The immediate area was a flat and very open piece of land with long winding paths and trees dotted everywhere. Though the land was generally flat some ares raised up slightly giving a lumpy feel to the hard grassy land. Everywhere a tree was dotted a huge crated was there around it with the tree smack bang in the middle of it and the continuing paths.
They sky was a hazy pink-purple with light clouds, as it loomed over the area of many paths that all joined but never seemed to go anywhere. It wasn't long before the Cybertrons had glanced around when they bent over in pain and doubled over in pain..

Metlingus doubled over in pain from the High Energon. He quickly looked around to see what he could scan and saw what look like monkey jungle cat in one of the trees.
He began scanning it and transformed laying down as the ease of the pain went away. "Glitch you ok?" he asked.

"No, I'm not okay!", rasped the Cybertron angrily, "I'm damaged and somewhere in the distance i can hear a strange howling noise on my audio sensors that is really starting to give me a headache!!", growled the bot as he rubbed his head and looked around.
"What IS this place anyway?", asked the bot seeing all the craters with trees ion them and winding roads.

Torrent was having a little trouble getting used to his new alt, and the slightly thickening enviroment wasn't helping.
"Ergh, stupid plants!"
As he reached the edge of the forest he could see there was something moving beyond the trees.
He slowly crept forward to get a better look.
"Hrm, Cybertrons or animals.." He said quietly to himself.
"Maybe if I get a little closer..." He ran behind a nearby rock as quickly as he could before peeking round the side to watch the two figures.

"Some Valley of some kind, and before you say anything yes i know i just pointed out the obvious." Metalingus replied as got up and looked around.
"Let me see if i can scope anything from higher up, with my new form" He said transforming into his Jungle Cat Monkey Hybrid.
He looked at his hands and himself and scanned his onboard systems. He ran forward to the nearest tree and was surprised at how fast he was now. As he was about to climb the tree claws came out and helped with his climbing as he got up high on a branch. He began scanning around and realized his vision had increased to.
He began to look around the immediate area and thought he saw something nearby some rocks.
