Deep in the recesses of space, a dark shadow looms across the foreboding endless horizon of space... For those on board the Triad, what started out as fleeing from Cybertron after being driven off the home-planet, has turned into a quest. A quest for a new home to conquer and call their own. For those aboard - Triton, Rampart, Quickchange, Gorgon, Scathe and rage, it has been a very long journey - and tempers are begging to flare when you've been in space this long... OOC: Okay, go about your buisness on the ship for now, find you way around. Please remember it's a light ship, you have to rest wherever and on whatever you can, it's not designed for deep space reconnaissance. Think of it more like a Klingon Bird of Prey! |

To the rear of the ship, where the weapons were mounted on the wall, a sturdy pinky-purple coloured Destron paced the small area, restless, he wondered if he really was starting to go stir crazy in space and would give anything to step on solid land again.

Aaarrrgh! It's been 5 Stellar cycles since we left Cybertron and we're no closer to finding somewhere as a new base of operations!. Now more than ever I'm convinced that Triton is losing his grip on reality!
Something must be done! We must find a new planetary body and soon or else I will have no option to voice my opinions about returning home! We are Destrons!! We should have never have left Cybertron but I'm not sure who feels the same.
Or who to trust...

Near the back of the ship, a fierce-looking Destron was resting on a somewhat small, cargo pile.

I can not help but think that this voyage has awry and that this was a complete waste. I do hope that Triton has thought this plan out because I am becoming more suspicious and curious as were we are going.
As Rage looks across the very small and cramped landing bay he sees Rampart and decides to pay him a visit.
"Maybe Rampart feels the way I do right now"
Then as Rage gets up, he remembers Rampart likes to be alone, so he tries to stop worrying and he goes back to resting himself.

A cry of anger could be heard coming from one of the cargo bays. There was sounds of something being smashed. Inside the cargo bay, Gorgon was flattening an empty cargo container.
"RRAAARGGGGHHH!! ME GORGON SMASH!! PUNY SHIP TOO SMALL FOR GORGON!!"
Gorgon continued to pound on the container, then started crushing it into a roughly spherical shape. He then hefted it and turfed it at one of the cargo bay walls. Gorgon's anger had been getting the better of him. He had effectively been confined to the cargo bays and shuttle bays as they were the only rooms large enough to comfortably fit the gargantuan Destron.
Gorgon calmed down a little. He moved over to one corner of the cargo bay, kicking a smaller container on the way. Gorgon sat down in the corner, arms folded, apparently in a sulk.
"Me Gorgon hate stupid ship"

Also sitting in one of the cargo bays, Quickchange interjected, "You think that's bad, then what about my talents! They're being completely wasted! I'm a spy! You can't spy on a ship!"
The bot sat there with his head held cupped in his arm, the green armour making him quite colourful to look at, although it was unclear what he transformed into.
Just then a loud screech over the old comm system interrupted everyone's thoughts, bringing everyone's attention to order as their commander voice ringed out over the tannoy...
"This is Commander Triton! All Destrons report to the battle bridge.... NOW!" bellowed the voice.

As Rage heard the intercom bellow over all living beings on the ship, Rage had decided that it was very important.
"What could this possibly be for, we've been on this ship for a few kilo-weeks, this is just a waste!"
When Rage started heading towards the bridge he pased Gorgon and Rampart they both seemed very upset, especially Gorgon.
When Rage was passing the halls and coridoors and private sections of the ship every Destron headed to the bridge very quickly.
"I wonder what this is about?"

Gorgon grumbled as he followed the order to go to the Battle Bridge. The bridge itself was large enough to accomodate him, but the corridors leading to it were a tight fit.
"Me Gorgon be happy when we get off tiny ship."
The door leaving the cargo bay was dented and mangled around the top where Gorgon had entered and exited the room since he had been on the ship. Gorgon made his way to the battle bridge, followed by the screech of metal on metal as his shoulders scraped along the ceiling. Gorgon spoke to Quickchange, who was in front of him.
"We both wasted in here, Spy-bot. Me Gorgon need big spaces, you need stuff to sneak up on."

Quickchange didn't say much as he followed the others to the battle bridge, with Rampart flailing at the back, reluctant to know what all the fuss was about. As they entered the bridge they could see that Scathe was already there, perhaps he had been all long, and was jumping up and down excitedly at something. To their immediate left stood the 5 lifeless forms of five Destrons that had been salvaged of Cybertron's Moonbase. Although not totally lifeless, they remained in stasis until they could be revitalized with energy once more. Triton had insisted on bringing them along for more troops, perhaps initially optimistic to other that they would find a new source of energy. And maybe this time the gambit had payed off... Entering the bridge the Destrons saw a glorious tropical planet, a great light shone from behind the planet like a new star, lighting the way. "There she is!!" roared Triton reveling in the new discovery, "Theres he is!!"Slowly the ship began a course that drifted around the side of the hemisphere of the planet, revealing, an old moon neighboring near it's orbit. A powerful yellow-white beacon of light reached out from it's surface into space... "Destrons, there is our new home!" |

"Finally, a good place to stay, I'm gettin' tired of this old piece and embarrassment of a ship"
Rage suddenly walked over to the viewing platform and observed the tropical planet,
"Something doesn't look right about this planet, but it's just a feeling, at least we're off this ship!"
"So, Triton what are we gonna do when we land?"

"We begin building an empire!", laughed Triton triumphantly, "And that's all you need to know.. Gorgon, take us within orbit of that moon, Rage - get ready to prepare a scan of that energy source when we get near. I want to know how powerful that beam of energy is. Is it safe, where's it coming from, when we land I need answers!"
Rampart began backing towards the door, "I should check things at the rear of the ship, make sure everything is stabilized, secured and locked down!", replied the bot slightly agitated as he tried to slink off...

Gorgon let out a low rumble from his vocal processor. He moved over to his work station. He tapped in a couple of controls and began manouvering the ship into a high orbit. It was about the only thing on the ship Gorgon was able to do. A light flashed on the console infront of him.
"Me Gorgon got us in high orbit, Boss-Bot."
Gorgon continued to monitor the console, making slight adjustments to their altitude, keeping them in a geo-synced orbit above one of the larger continents.

"Well Triton, I'd be happy if I were you because that beam is powerful enough to run an empire for a couple of eons and supply enough power too...and as where it's coming from, the scanner shows that the beam is transmitting from a highly-wooded area but I can't tell what's causing it...for that we would have to get much closer."
As Rage was scanning he was looking at the beam in amazement.
"The beam seems to be some sort of organic-based energy, if we got close to it I might be able to test it and get to study it more"
Rage faced the commander and asked,
"What do you say Triton?"
Rage walked up from the holo-computer and went to the viewing platform

"Then I say.. Take us down, Gorgon!", replied the Destron commander, "Not too close though. Let's see if Rage can come up with the technical data we need once we've landed!"
Triton rested his hands behind his back and slowly paced back to his command chair, high and positioned center ion the battle bridge.

"I'm getting some incoming data...yes, I can confirm that it is safe, oddly enough, this light beam has some similarities to organic material back on Cybertron."
Rage walked up to the holo-computer and viewed the data on the screen, "I can take a sample of the energy if you want"
"I'm still not sure where it's coming from, so we will have to look for the cause on the planet but if I could suggest, I would want to stay alert because I'm not sure if the cause is dangerous or not, but if it is dangerous we will have to try not to harm it otherwise the beam could be stopped or it could counter-act and destroy most of the planet...and that proves how powerful it is too."

Gorgon followed his leader's orders and took them in lower. He entered some co-ordinates and a low rumble reverberated through the ship. The ship turned towards the energy beam. Gorgon made a quick scan of the surrounding area. He spotted an area that looked good for their ship to touch down. He pulled up all information on it and sent it to Triton's console.
"This good place to land Boss-Bot?"
