Gorgon nodded in response to his new orders. He turned roughly North-West and began stomping off in that direction. Gorgon about ten paces before transforming into his hover-tank mode. Gorgon kicked up a cloud of dust as he took off.
The terrain was rough, but it posed no problem to Gorgon as he was able to pass straight over thanks to the 8 hover pods that powered his alt mode. He rotated his turret, scanning the area. No lifesigns, no signals of any sort, apart from his Destron comrades.
Gorgon has been travelling for a couple of cycles when he came across a ravine. It was too wide for him to jump in his alt mode. Gorgon transformed back into his robot made and took a couple of paces backwards. He took a run-up and overloaded his hover pods, launching him across the ravine. Gorgon landed and rolled. He stood up and carried on walking, waiting for his hover pods to recharge.

Rage followed not to close behind Gorgon. He transformed into speed mode and sped off into the distant horizon.
"Nights Falling", Rage said to himself
He needed to find the core power of that beam and he intended on finding it somewhere in that crater.
He quickly changed back to walk mode when he arrived at the outskirts of the crater. His red/ orange optics glowed in the darkness of the small valley surrounding the crater.
"That type of beam is organic so it must come from the planet itself, unless I'm mistaken of course"

Quickchange headed off in a different direction to Gorgon and Rage, as he look back over his shoulder he could see Triton inspecting the new Destrons and making sure they were okay, whilst Rampart started aimlessly wandering around pretending like he was looking for something - but even ol' Quickchange could tell he wasn't interested. And certainly not prepared to put in the hard work..
Turnhing back, the Destron changed into his green amphibious all-terrain vehicle, the 8-wheel drive made the craters of the lunar surface easy work as he travlled over them. On his roof, a small panel slided back where an antennae raised up out of the chassis and extended upwards before unfolding itself fully, slowly it began to spin slowly as it began scanning the surface area ahead.
Scathe jumped up and down and began muttering away to himself excitedly, "Scathe find secret source of power! Scathe LOVE challenge!!", roared the bot as he stomped of across the lunar surface.

Rage encountered the beam and looked amazed.
"Maybe it isn't organic, maybe it's coming from below the surface, from a machine..."
Rage immediately started thinking about millions of questions
One thought came to mind, "If I get to that source first, I'll gain trust from Triton"
Rage found a way underground, there was a small tunnel leading from the valley to a small, almost secret tunnel.
"I think it is coming from a machine since this tunnel was put here, why else would someone put one here?"
Rage explored the underground cavern to see if he could find anything, anything at all..........

From the valley, the underground cavern was dark and long, in the far far distance there was a feint light, but for now the tunnel was dank but dry with a musty smell. No creatures inhabited the caves, much like the surface it was completely devoid of life
At the end of the tunnel awaiting the Destron;'s arrival was a large open area of cave that stretched high to the surface and would echo if you shouted in the vast empty space. A thin walkway of the same rocky lunar material stretched across a vast cavern to, what essentially was, a large island in the middle, it would be a long way down for any clumsy soul. In the center of the island was a huge and massive computer system which was embedded with smaller alien computers all around it's base. The thing looked like a giant super computer with banks of computers and wires off the consoles to the underneath the workstations back into the massive unit.....

Gorgon stomped alongside the ravine he'd just jumped. It had been almost a breem since then. His systems pinged, indicating that his hover-pods were recharged. He began to transform back into his hover-tank mode. The ground under his feet crumbled and Gorgon fell into the ravine, half transformed.
Gorgon hit the ground and reverted back to his robot mode. He stood up and tried to climb out, but slipped back down. He resorted to doing the only thing he could think of, punching the ravine walls in anger.
"RRRAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!"
Gorgon stopped punching the walls and stomped off along the ravine. The sides were too steep for him to climb, and they were too high for him to jump out by using his hover-pods.
"Gorgon to Boss-bot. Me Gorgon fallen down a ravine. Me Gorgon following ravine and see if me Gorgon can find way out. Sending location now."
Gorgon sent Triton his co-ordinates as he stomped off down the ravine.

Rage's optics shined in the glow of all equipment in the middle of the cave.
"Hmm, well, looks like some serious tech"

"Static"
"These cavern wall are blocking my transmission!!"
Rage headed toward the equip.
"If I can just disconnect these valves..."
"Maybe Gorgon can help me out down here"
"Well...maybe not, his size might interfear"
Rage then tried sending another transmission, "No Luck"
"I'm gonna have to make the call outside"
The circutry on Rage was buzzing
"Arrrgh, I wasn't made for this enviroment!"
Rage made his way outside

Nearby, Rampart kicked the ground and a cloud of lunar dust flew up. He was bored already, he would anything to be beating upon a Cybertron right now ope welding his blaster. Elsewhere Scathe and Quickchange turned on their heels and headed towards the co-ordinates sent via a coded frequency sub-command. Scathe was the first to arrive.
Running to the edge of the ravine, Scathe stopped suddenly at the edge and started to wobble before taking a few steps back. He could clearly see Gorgon below and so, carefully knelt down and laid on the ground, looking over the ravine.
"Found anything down there Gorgon? (Echo) - Gorgon, Gorgon, Gorgon.."

Gorgon looked up when he heard Scathe. He wondered how Scathe could help him, granted he was smarter than Gorgon, but he was also quite a bit smaller. In Gorgon's simple mind, smaller meant weaker. Although he knew Scathe's strength was very close to his own.
"Ugh....Me Gorgon found rocks....Lots and lots of rocks."
Gorgon attempted climbing out of the ravine again, taking a run up and jumping onto the rock face ((OOC, regular jump, not the hover-pod enhanced jump)) He managed to get about half-way up before sliding back down. Gorgon let out an angry roar and booted a rather large rock along the ravine. It travelled some distance before clattering along the ground, sending an echo back towards him.

Rage emerged from the tunnel.

"Rage to Triton, I found something. It seems like some sort of control station and the beam is transmitting from a beacon in the center of a computer-pod. I'll send you the coordinates for retrieval."
'End Transmission'
A cliff overhead of the valley seemed like a good place to stake-out. Rage treaded his way up the side of the cliff. He emerged from edge and he lifted his arm up and emitted a light beam from his arm. The light formed into the destron signal.
"This should be clear from a couple kilo-miles away."
He would keep the beam in position until someone arrived.
The sky overhead seemed almost gloomy, what little sun shimmered in his optics
Rage put the beam in stationary mode so he could move.
He headed towards the edge and peered over to gaze at the scenery beyond the open plains as he awaited for any sign of a conrad.

+++ COM-LINK +++"Hey that's right around the corner!", Scathe muttered to himself, and looked back over the ravine, "Rage has found a super computer! Follow that ledge around and you should find us!", and with that Scathe stomped of in a pace, transforming to vehicle mode as his thick treads made light of the rocky surface. Much later Quickchange was the first one to arrive at Rage's location followed by Gorgon and Scathe, at last Triton arrived as Gorgon came round the bend of the ledge that had brought him there. The commanding Destron officer had to leave the new troops in Rampart's hands and wasn't happy in doing so, but given the choice - he'd rather that than have him handle an un-known alien computer station. This find was too big for Rampart to muck-up. "Lead the way Rage!", ordered Triton and followed the smaller Destron. Between Rage and Triton, both Scathe and Quickchange followed in their robot modes, using their headlights to light the way.. |

After Gorgon had rejoined the majority of the Destron troops, he transformed into his vehicle mode and took off, following closely behind Triton and Scathe. He'd activated his lights, adding to the other's and illuminating the area better.

Rage headed through the underground tunnel with his other conrades following.
"It's right through this tunnel and beyond that is the main place where the beam emmits from."
As he guided the others in the right way of the beam he saw the glow of machinery. And beyond that was the other entrance to get out.
"I tried disconnecting it but it seems like you need a pass code of some sort"
Then they saw the large island in the center of the room

"De-activate it?", mused Triton, "Would would we wouldn't it deactivated, I plan on using it to it's fullest extent" Quickchange see what you can do!", ordered the Destron commander.
The green-armored Destron stepped forward from the others and pulled out a medium-sized portable console from a compartment on his body, as he stepped up the one of the consoles, he began hooking his own console up via all the wires, plus his own. Interlinking his console with that of the alien technology, Quickchange beggan hacking and inter-facing with the alien network.
"It might take a few moments to de-crypt the the matriarchal security overrides", informed the Destron as he tapped away on his portable console. Moments passed and eventually Quickchange was in, the symbols on his screen flashed as a new screen opened up on the console with a running marquee of diagnostic logistic programs running down the screen. "What is your command - commander?"
"Access the security database and see if there is a defense network", ordered Triton.
"Acesssing..." Quickchange worked quickly and pulled back slightly at what he found "Your not going to believe this commander but there's far more than you bargained for! A whole network that controls not only the security for this computer hub but a whole satellite weapons array for both this moon and orbital defenses of the neighbouring planetry body!"
"Excellent! This is better than I had imagined!", roared Triton, "Activate the defenses then double-check the security protocols, I want you to generate a false carrier signal similar to that which be used for an S.O.S transmission across sub-space. We're going to set a little trap!..." Triton walked round the side of the super-computer and fired his cannon down over the side using it as a propulsion to fly him across the cavern on the other side of the island to the other exit. "Quickchange stay here and keep working, Destrons with me!"
OOC: The ledge around the island, of which most of the super-computer inhabits is narrow. You can either head back across the ledge-way from the island and walk around a separate wider ledge around the circumference of the cave to the door on the other side, or you can go round the side of the super computer to the back and try jumping across the gap across the cavern, but it is a big leap!

Gorgon scanned the gap between where he stood and where Triton now was. He would be able to make the jump if he used his hover-pods and took a run up. Trouble was, the ledge he was stood on was nowhere near big enough for the large Destron to take a run up. Gorgon grumbled. He made his way over to the wider ledge and began the long walk to the other side of the cavern.
