"Very well., I'll accompany Reaper with Dinoboss and Torrent", replied the Noble having to listened to all the options, "Grunt, I'm afraid we'll have to leave you home alone. If you can rig the ship however... Well just make sure you have the proper activation & authorization codes installed, and not to mention a fail safe device incase there's a last minute turn-around should the worse happen."
"If there's no other ends to tie up, then make sure your weapons are fully loaded and primed and meet me outside the base in one breem, and don't forget to they and stay tactical and in your alt modes for as much as possible, it looks like a possible solar storm is brewing up out there according to the drone.

'Just one sir,' Grunt took his cy-gar out of this mouth to tap it clean. 'The ship I got under control, it's Metalingus. I just need to know how stable he currently is and if things do get crazy, how hard it's going to be to move him.'
Grunt didn't mind staying. If he gave him a chance to rig the ship to provide a nasty surprise for any unwanted visitors, he was all for it. Plus, he was the slowest of the group. Grunt knew he would hold everyone back if things got out of control.
Dinoboss: "Plus, I feel that some essentials should be loaded up just in case we do jump ship. Stuff so we can set up somewhere else and still operate effectively. Grunt's beast mode could pull a good bit of equipment with him when he leaves. That's if we cut our losses with...."
Dinoboss spoke uneasy and rubbed the back of his head
Dinoboss: "If we cut our losses with Metalingus. Without the ship, it's going to be slaggin' hard to keep him going."
Noble snapped round "Cut our losses Dinoboss?", replied Convoy loudly sounding offended, "That's a fellow officer in a critical condition! No, we do everything we can to keep Metalingus alive. I'm not about to loose anyone else on my watch."
The leader turned and rested on the console as he looked out the ship's huge oval cockpit window. "We'll need to set up a portable energy device to keep Metalingus' pod running. I know that's yet another thing I'm asking of you Grunt", continued the leader in answer to the earlier question", "However I'm sure you can understand given the circumstances?
We going in and look for anything out of the ordinary, perform complete scan of the areas, look for any vapour trails from the ship to trace a signature, see what they were up to then return to the ship with as much information as possible..."

'Yes commander. Metalingus will be taken care of, and the ship will be dealt with.'
Grunt knew he had his work cut out for him. Rigging the ship for the worse was in his league. It reminded him of his gueriila combat training and experiences, he would have no trouble creating some nasty surprises for the Destrons if they breached the ship.
Torrent was not looking forward to going back into the forest. He would have prefered to go in the other direction completely but the thought of what the Destrons were doing to Glitch made him think twice about whining.
He was gobsmacked when the others started talking about giving up on Metalingus and was about to retaliate when Noble Convoy dissagreed. Torrent utterly respected Noble's judgement on the issue.
"Well lets hope our recon is more successful than last time me and fly-boy when on a scouting mission"

After a full Breem, Convoy was already outside and waiting in beast mode as the others exited the ship, leaving only Grunt behind. Stood among the barren, dry, and baked clay like ground, only the huge mountain with it's cascading waterfall to ground level, surrounded by a good patch of trees provided any aesthetic relief from the bleak surroundings. The mountain by the side of the ship, dominating in it's height and of the Cybertrons themselves.
Convoy looked relaxed in his beast mode, his wings folded back on his lion body having already stretched them out when he arrived outside. "Are we all ready?", asked the leader.
Before Dinoboss had come out of the ship, he left Grunt with all security codes he may need. He also asked him to collect up communication equipment above all else if it came down to it and he had to abandon ship. Then, with a nod for good luck, Dinoboss came outside in his beast mode next to Noble.
