EPISODE #1
It's been four years since the death of Megatron and since Samuel Witwicky places the cube in Megatron's chest, ultimately destroying him so Optimus Prime would not have to sacrifice himself. After sending out the signal, Autobots both from Cybertron and already on earth have come to Prime's aid against the Decepticons.
With Megatron dead, the second lieutenant, Starscream was to be expected to gain control over the Decepticons, but remained incognito returning to Cybertron. Upon arriving on Earth, Ironhide leads the new Autobots to Sector 7 Alpha Base-1 and Optimus Prime for debriefing. Located in a mountain base (Using holo-technology for a gate way right into the side of the mountain), they began learning about the remains of the All-Spark when Sector 7 guys* burst in demanding they all be tagged and Identified.
As the Autobots adjusted to their new home, and Hoist made repairs on his comrades, Optimus sent Blaster on a mission with a few others to reach the top of the maintain and broadcast a signal to other Autobots whilst he began training the new recruits. Later on, Hoist, Flywheels and Ratchet would leave the mountain base to recover a fallen stasis pod in the forest, there they found a very injured Autobot femmebot.
Meanwhile the signal had also been received by the Decepticons who soon answered the call and began an all-out assault on the Autobots on the outside of Sector 7 Alpha Base-1. As the battle kicked off, Hoist, Ratchet and Flywheels and the new femmebot picked up on the sounds of battle far, far away and decided to return immediately to base. The new Autobot however was going into stasis lock and had to be strapped to Ratchet's roof cage for the return trip.
With Prime rushing to the exterior of the base and his rapid ascent of the mountain the Decepticon seekers disengaged as more stasis pods came straight towards their position, and the Autobots. With a great number of Autobot losses already, the seekers retreated in victory as the pod's collided into the side of the mountain. Inside, it rained debris as the Sector 7 guys* became victims of the collision which also trapped Bumblebee and the human Sam Witwicky inside one of the rooms, eventually rescued by Ironhide,
With the arrival of two new Autobots, a communications officer and a medic, the Autobots descended to the base of the mounting to begin digging the sealed entrance out of it's debris and rescue the humans inside. Hoist, Ratchet and Flywheels returned with the missing Autobot and awaited to gain entrance to the base to attend to her cyber-virus that was infecting her systems, but it was all hands at the ready to clear the base entrance. Inside, deep in the cryo-freeze three Transformers came back online, Air Raid, Warpath and another unknown Transformer..
Using his jets, Air Raid cleared the mountain from the inside, and after a small stand off over identification with the Autobots below, revealed he was an Autobot and that two more were trapped in the cryo-freeze below. With the entrance inside being human sized, there was no way our for Warpath and the new stranger, Detonator, expect to be air lifted out. Miles away at sea, another new arrival plunged into the deep, dark and murky waters of the ocean, but in it's stasis pod, was this friend and foe.
After the un-frozen forms of Warpath and Detonator had been air-lifted from the base and the humans rescued, a great Autobot ship descended from the sky; and with it a crew of fresh new Autobots guided by the ship's computer, Teletran L7. Whilst Sam had a unique meeting experience with the ship's computer, the Autobots were soon given new alternate forms and abilities to test out.. Some of the recruits too eager, so much so that Ratchet offered to train them in a friendly clash. He was however pulled away when Hoist needed to transplant a spark from the fallen Autobot femmebot who had not survived her virus extraction.
From the depths of the Ocean, the Autobot Shipwreck homed in in the Autobot's signal and made his way inland to meet the others.. Elsewhere another arrival of a different had taken place as a Decepticon warship, spear-headed by Shockwave made it's way across Earth. With plenty of Protoforms on board, Soundwave was dispatched with his spies to seek alternate Earth modes and scanned forms across military bases and construction sites.. In the skies The Decepticons seekers Thundercracker, Skywarp, Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet, were headed by Starscream, fresh from a return from Cybertron - and with him a deadly new allie, Sunstorm.
With the Sector 7 Alpha Base-1 clear the Autobots headed for the new Autobot ship, the Orion, which would become the new Autobot base of operations. Optimus Prime decreed that the technology inside must never be found or used again, and, with several other Autobots, collapsed the entrance to the base and sealed it from ever being found again. Soon after they picked up a distress signal from a US Military base, not too far away which was under attack. Undoubtedly the Decepticons, the Autobots took of in the Orion and began their battle plans as they headed towards the location..
Landing in the Nutfield Military base, Soundwave gathered more forms as chaos erupted. Starscream and Sunstorm descended on the military base to meet Soundwave, along with the other seekers, and began trying to press the Decepticon communications buttons by trying to rile him up and get information out of him on what Shockwave was up to. Despite their best attempts, Soundwave did not sink to their level and left with what he had came for. Meanwhile Runamuck and Runabout were dispatched to help via a shuttle and received their new alt modes on routed via communication from the returning Soundwave.
Aboard the Orion the mass of Autobots were split into two teams - a recon/intel team and a battle team, with Firefly advancing ahead to make an intel on how many Decepticons were at the military base. Landing a mile away from the base the Autobots rolled out to face the Decepticons. The recon team lay amongst the mountains gathering information as the massive full-scale fight broke out between the Autobots and Decepticons. The Autobots threw everything they had at Sunstorm and the Decepticons taking on casualties and losses. But was the most dangerous seeker of all, Sunstorm too powerful?
Having gained their new alternate forms, the battle chargers, Runamuck and runabout, raced to the scene of the battle, unaware they were being tailed. Elsewhere, laser fire and missiles were flying through the air as Autobot after Autobot fell before the might of Sunstorm. In a desperate attempt to stop the powerful seeker, Optimus Prime charged Sunstorm, ready to sacrifice himself for the good of his Autobots if it meant stopping him. In one fatal blast, Sunstorm fired a shot that ripped through the leader's side sending Optimus crashing to the ground..
In unison to their fallen leader, the remainder of the Autobots charged forward, but, the missiles from an injured Shipwreck impacted with Sunstorm in a mass explosion. As the blast died down, any remaining Autobots waited for the smoke to clear. Surely that had finished Sunstorm off for good? Clearly not as Sunstorm still remained floating in the sky above the carnage. The battle chargers arrived to pick off the last of the Autobots but were mercilessly shot down, sending the shuttle careering past Sunstorm into the side of a mountain. Sunstorm reveled in horror at who dared when a lone red Autobot with yellow deco turned up at the battlefield.
Rumble Prime, fresh from Cybertron, and on orders from the Autobot high council had arrived. And just in time, but not only to stop Sunstorm but to claim the leadership of the Autobots from the fallen Optimus Prime!
