"I was referring to the large one... sir." said Walker.
"If we can rip it apart with the Railgun, we can clear the air and the strike team can hit the ones on the ground." she said.
"Unless you prefer to nuke the area... Autobot, Decepticon, and civillian alike..." she said.

"We've lost enough of our men as it is!", snapped the Vice President, "Get all our ground troops out of there, Air unit only and strike at anything large and metallic that moves! Only when both sides are wiped out can this war truley end!"

"For the record sir... I don't agree with wiping out the good with the bad... but there may be no other choice..." said General Walker, who then reluctantly turned to her comm officer.
"I want any and ALL Marines that have gotten to the area to pull out... now... and any Army forces who have come in... All ground units out!" She ordered...
"Aye ma'am." said the Comm officer.

(As no one's seemed to notice that newly arrived air units have entered, I'll do something about that)
Soon, a Junior Communications Officer, arrived in the HQ, with documents and came across General Walker. Saluting her, he said 'General, We just received word that a newly arrived air unit went into the battle. There were the 9th Bomb Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona with the 354th Fighter Squadron, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, with 391st Fighter Squadron. And there was a single F-35B Lighting II in Marine markings, leading them, flown by a USAF pilot, by the name of Major Douglas Winters, general'.

(OOC: sorry I missed this ) "Thank you." she said to the comm officer. "More of the AirForce's finest." she said, then turned to General Lansing "Lets hope the extra Flyboys can clean house." she said, then turned back to the progress on the sat-screen "They are gonna have a field day teaching this one to ace classes..." she said, mainly to herself.

(OOC: since so much has been done in Plato Beach thread, I think it reasonable to move on)
With the battle having settled down, soon, the senior comms officer went to General Walker 'General, we just received the report that air units are now returning to base, the majority of the Decepticons are fleeing the zone and the Autobots are leaving as well'. He then awaited Walker's reply.

"Good..." replied General Walker, half heartedly.
She took a breath before she spoke next.
"Contact all the carriers and bases for their missing persons reports... And order Search and Rescue to the area... We need to account for the lost pilots and tell their families." she said
She turned to General Lansing.
"If you wouln't mind taking the Army and Air Force lists... I'll take the Marine and Navy list..." She said.
She was a Marine, but when it came to a loos of a service member in arms... especially on home soil... it hit hard.
