Bomblast was eying up the Decepticon forces in the chamber, thinking about which would put up a good fight, which would get in his way in combat and which would potentially out-shine him. He couldn't wait to get into combat, feeling like it had been eons since he last fought. He stumbled slightly as part of the floor cracked under-foot. He muttered something quietly about hoping to get a better base of operations.
Powersurge remained silent as he stayed with the group, giving the slightest of nods to some of the Decepticons in the chamber. He smirked as he watched Bomblast stumble and walked past, the floor cracking far less that under the behemoth's feet.

Following the rest of the group, Retractor scuttled into a dark corner and began to scan the crowd of decepticons around the chamber.
"I think it shall be prudent to cultivate a friendship with one of these....thugs" He thought to himself "A shield for the future."
With this in mind his thoughts drifted back to Shockwave's descriptions of his comrades.

Torquemada's thoughts were kept all to himself, quite impressed by his surroundiongs. "Yes this will do nicely!", he thought to himself. "The rest of the troops have seen better days, but it's survival of the fittest I say!"

Shockwave's data processor registers a feeling that he recognizes as annoyance. Yet the self-proclaimed emotional-less one does not allow himself to succumb to what he believes to be an illogical response. Instead, he raises his monotone voice to a volume so that all you are speaking ill of Megatron can hear him. 'My fellow Decepticons. It seems your inability to hold back on your impulses to speak what your data processors computes has gotten the best of you. I hear your concerns and your fears, and hear me when I say this, they have no place here in the Decepticon army. Know this, anyone who is in doubt of the Decepticon cause is a traitor. To dispute our leader, the mighty Megatron and his master plans, can only equate to the probability that your loyalty to him is in question. Full and utter devotion to the Decepticon cause is the only acceptable role and if you wish to remain operational, then you shall function in this manner with out question.'

Onix looked over the gathering, it was impressive while still a testament to how far they had fallen after what seemed such a sure thing. He found himself a group of 'Cons talking about Optimus's escape
"You know, I handed Optimus over to them. Kaon must be getting pretty lax with its inmates."

'Megatron failed his own cause!'
The sudden rebel yell from the back of the chamber jolted all out of Shockwave's speech. All optics turned around in search of who said it, only Shockwave knew who it was. 'Starscream! Your outburst is unacceptable and treasonable! Stand down and take your place.'

Sidewinder turned towards the direction of the yell.
"oooOOooo this looks most interesting indeed" he muttered to himself. He always enjoyed watching these little treason based discussions. He liked to see how far boudries could be pushed. An experiment of great risk, and he didn't have to do it himself.

Bomblast grinned. He nudged the nearest to him from their little convoy, Retractor.
"Haha! I'd bet my weapons that Shockwave would win if this turns into a good old-fashioned, Energon spilling, joint shattering, gear breaking brawl!"
Powersurge let out a grunt when he turned and saw Starscream. He always disliked the leader of the Seekers.
"One day, 'fearless leader'. You and me." He muttered to himself.

The areial commander was now hovering in the air above the crowd of Decepticons. He looked down at Shockwave and all present as he spoke. 'Megatron is a fool and a bumbling leader. He failed to take control of Cybertron when it was in the palm of his hands! Even when I, gave him all the Dark Energon he needed and more, he was unable to destroy the Autobots. Even with Zeta Prime out of the way he couldn't do it. And now we are suppose to have him lead us into a new Golden Age of a Decepticon controlled Cybertron? All he's left us with is a broken planet!'

Torquemada was not pleased to see his old work comrade once more, yet he knew this day was inevitable. "And I suppose you have all the answers as usual eh Starscream? Tell me once again, just why is it you aren't the Decepticon leader still?"
He spoke in a loud but clear voice, for the first time revealing anything about him before those he arrived with.

Onix cut the chit chat with the other Decepticons that he had started to talk to and focused his attention on the sky commander. Onix had nothing against Starscream, in fact he found Starscream to be rather tolerable. Starscream was not unlike himself. Treacherous when most opportune, out for his own advancement, Starscream's only difference is he wanted to have control over others, where Onix would be fine if he was the last one left on Cybertron. Onix stayed quite though, this power struggle didn't concern him.

Sunreaper looked at Torquemada with a slightly surprised expression on his face. 'Sounds as if you know him Torquemada. Is it true, the rumor that Starscream came up with Dark Energon?'
'Who cares if he did.' Said Scatterdust who looked bored beyond relief. Steeler started to get aggressive again. 'At last! It looks as if we're going to see a fight. Lets see which one of these two will be left, the winner faces me!'
Vendetta looked on with much interest but remained quiet for now.
Starscream looked down at the familiar voice and recognized Torquemada. Tightening up his face he cursed his former comrade. 'Time matters all thing possible Torquemada! Soon you'll once again do as I say!'
Starscream then landed down in front of Shockwave and walked up to face the bigger and more powerful Decepticon. Shockwave stared down at the seeker and replied. 'Do not insult my intelligence. In fact, you fool no one here. You've made clear your desire to lead the Decepticons. A mistake that makes your pathetic argument nothing more the a desperate attempt to rally support for your personal agenda.'
Starscream definitely replied. 'And you'll soon learn that I won't rely on an argument to take over the Decepticons!'
Torquemada, Onix Major and the others soon began to feel the crowd that surrounded them and Shockwave and Starscream get tighter as they pushed towards the center of where the action was taking place. Voices grew louder and energy levels were peaking. The intension grew so thick only anti-matter could cut through. The argument between the two influential Decepticons made everyone feel so aggressive that soon things were about to get out of hand.

Retractor shuddered slightly at Bomblast's expectations of the apparently impending fight.
"I wouldn't want to speculate on such a proposition," he said, backing slightly behind the much larger decepticon's bulk. "I'd just like to fine out what we're needed to do."

Bomblast chuckled at Retractor's words. He repositioned himself behind the medic, so he could get a better view of what Bomblast hoped would be a showdown. At first, he wasn't too bothered by the growing crowd. But soon, the crowd was bumping and jostling him as they pushed closer to see what was happening. Bomblast felt his head twitch as the crowd pushed closer, growing more and more annoyed.
Bomblast ended up pushing back hard, shoving the crowding Decepticons away from him.
"Will you knock it off!!!" He shrieked, his voice more high pitched than normal.
He growled and turned back to Shockwave and Starscream.
Powersurge was seething. There was only one thing on Cybertron that burned his circuits, and that was Starscream. It took every bit of restraint for him not to have an out-burst and call Starscream a coward and a turncoat.
"You'll never take over the Decepticons. And if you do, I'll be there waiting for you to make a mistake." He muttered to himself, still glaring at Starscream.

As more and more Decepticons pushed to the front to see the action, Sidewinder was squished harder and harder up until the point where he was being lifted off the ground. He pulled a slightly pained expression and hoped no one would notice his embaressing prediciment.
Still, the situation did offer him a pretty good view of the center.
