[glow=blue,2,300]Curious, Jinx what and who do you consider gangster rap?[/glow] Well I'm going on what I see in the videos and what TA advises me to... but I think along the lines of 50 Cent?! I'd consider as ganster rap... but you know me... I could very easily be wrong

[glow=blue,2,000]Yeah your along the right lines, I don't listen to him much but he comes across like it. I wouldn't consider say Jay-Z or Ludakris gangster even if they make a referrence to somethimg of that subject matter. Now Biggie Smalls, N.W.A. or old Snoop Dog....[/glow]

Another kind of music that I dont like is country music. It makes me sick. If you ask me, all they do is manipulate the art of the guitar.

.... hmmmm.... funny you should say that, Ironhide ... as literally, most music that you listen to today is/was influenced primarily by country music or something like it... ie, folk etc...
Where do you think that Rock came from in the first place ... it's sped up country music
Manipulation of the guitar?! Isn't that what music is all about for the most part anyway?
I mean like or dislike whatever you want to... I don't really care either way... but maybe you should think before you make a statement like that...
*rolls eyes and grins at Ironhide*

I actually prefer country music over the other kinds of music, I can relate easier to it, I guess it has something to do with growing up in the country, anyways, I really like Toby Keith and Montgomery gentry, but I can't stand older country music or singing about love, 'gag', I just like country rock, that's a oxymoron if I ever heard one ;D. Unfortunuttly, most country songs are singing about love, but there is a fair few about drinking and usually the 'gag' songs have a pretty good beat to it.
I like older rock, you know with ac/dc, ozzie, etc.
