Just tried the War Hammer demo. Not bad, wouldn't spend much money on this game though. Its a satisfying shoot'em and slash'em kind of game it seems.

Its been so long since I bought a new game. Instead, I've renewed my addiction to Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete. Love that game. Wide range of choices as to what sort of army you can build, and an even wider range of choices for your starting hero. The campaigns are nice and long (even though I've never completed one because I keep getting killed) and a huge amount of single scenarios. I'm not a huge fan of Strategy games, but I absolutely love this one.
The only real problem I have with the game has nothing to do with the game itself, but with how I play it. I like to have one hero out on the field with the most tanked up units my army can provide, usually depleting my city or cities of all defenses, so I often get attacked and only a defending army of one low level unit. The problem I have is that I have become so used to playing the game in that way, that I can't break my habits and alter my strategy so I can actually win.

Love Mass Effects multiplayer. I leveled up my Solider class to 20, now I'm leveling up my Sentinel class, and using my Krogan character. Krogan are fun to play as. Smacking around AI is satisfying.

Caught some sales over the weekend and got the entire Deus Ex series for $12.48 on Steam (you've got to love Steam sales). I had picked up Portal 2 and Total Wars: Shogun 2 the week before as well.
Portal 2 was pretty good, but I'm glad I got it for $8.75 (bought it in a 2 pack for a little bit of saving so me and my brother both had a copy, he paid me back for his half). It isn't a full price game by any stretch of the imagination. I never was as enamored with the original Portal as many people were to begin with. It was an interesting concept, but I always just wanted them to get to the point where they tied Portal and Half-Life together, and I got to run around killing combine as Gordon Freeman with my own trusty Portal Gun and Gravity Gun. Not played co-op yet.
I installed Deus Ex: Human Revolution and have been playing it. It is pretty decent so far, except for the annoying stuttering and crashing that happens more frequently than I'd prefer. I decided that even though it is the most recent Deus Ex, it is chronologically first so I'm playing it before the others.

Am I the only one gaming?
Anyways, I have been playing Dead Space 2 on the PC after picking it up for cheap on one of Steams midweek sales (Gosh I love Steam). 6 hours in, and in chapter 9 of 15. Probably going to pick up Arkham City this weekend because it is 50% off, and I've been eying it every time I got to the store. I think that games controls are probably better on Xbox, but You can't beat $14.99 for a game that's still going for quite a bit on console.
WFC is also on sale today. If everyone had a computer worth gaming on, I'd say we should all buy it, lol.

Currently playing through WFC as I didn't have the time when I bought it. Also jumping on and off the online play as I recently joined online (not subscription, just online).
X-Box360 gametag: Beonrex

Playing through War For Vybertron again as I'm so hyped for the new one. Also, since I originally played it I've switched TV's from an old SD TV, to a HD TV finally. So I'll enjoy playing it on a much bigger screen with better resolution and better settings.

The old one finally died for good. But the new one rocks!! 320G baby!
